Excellent burger joint! Fresh fries. The meat seems fresh, and isn't that frozen preformed patty you get at most places. They put more than a single piece of lettuce on your burger, and the buns seem "homemade" (but don't quote me on that). My burger didn't have quite enough BBQ sauce on it, and could've used another tomato or two. The other burger we got had an avocado that kept slipping out of the burger (maybe mash it?). My husband and I really enjoyed the burgers here. The patties were large, juicy, and not overcooked. We didn't think much of their special sauce in the little plastic buckets but you can just leave that off if you don't like it. One small item was that I asked for no pickles on my burger and I got no onions instead. Thought the fries tasted really good as well.My son said his Oreo shake was pretty good too. read more

Saw the rave reviews so thought I'd give it a try. I "ordered" the bacon cheese burger combo with fries, side of onion rings and chocolate shake. Total was $19 and change. I "received" some double meat loaf pattied burger with cheese and no bacon. My $4 onion rings had 8 rings and we are talking unfancy, no way gourmet. There were plenty of fries and they were good and so was the $5 shake. I barely finished half the burger because of the two dry patties. Plus after paying for those dinky rings i didn't appreciate the hassle inn getting an extra fry sauce. This place is only good because it's a busy location. I've been trying to check out new burger joints and this one is WAY OVERRATED. Even if my order was right the burger patty was too dry. I suggest people try Frugals in Auburn. read more

I work down the street from this place and out of all the burger places in the local area I would say this is my go to. The staff there are pretty nice, they acknowledge me every time i go there and I literally go like every 2-3 months. The food is good, burgers taste nice and juicy and the vegetables taste fresh, the fries were crispy and soft inside. I usually do not write reviews but today I have to. Just got a Gyro Wrap from this place cost $8.73 including tax. Not really inexpensive for lunch when there are so many better alternatives. So I ordered the wrap to go and expecting somewhat gyro meat taste I took a big bite, all I got was lettuce. There was no taste, completely bland, no sauce and no meat. So now I am digging for meat, well there was some very tiny strips. I ate the wrap nevertheless, no choice I am at work, busy. Long story short the wrap should be called dry lettuce wrap, they skimped on the meat and everything else. It tastes exactly like chewing on a cold head of lettuce with flower tortilla. THIS IS THE CASE OF PENNY PINCHING GONE TOO FAR. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW HOW A GYRO WRAP SHOULD TASTES LIKE. I have not tried their burgers and I don't think I ever will. read more

I have no idea what the food is like--I couldn't get any. They close at 8:00pm. I got there at 20 minutes to, and on the way in, I asked an employee out front if they were still open. He nodded yes. (Their sign sure said "Open.") When I got to the counter, the woman chirped "Take-out only!" I was taken aback by this, since a) I was on a motorcycle, so no takeout for me; 2) I wanted to sit down, dang it; and 3) THEY WERE OPEN. I like the large selection they have to choose from! I chose the hawaiian burger with a vanilla shake and added grilled onions! yummy! couldn't finish it and it was kind of drippy but it was yummy! the fries were nice and crunchy yet not overly greasy! I would say the prices were very reasonable also! I would say the food was just as good as red robin and the service wasn't too bad (of course it's not wait service) and I saved some cash! Shake 'n Go has now become my go-to place for my weekly burger. The burgers are well seasoned, not too salty, just a bit of flavor you don't get at most burger places. It sort of tastes like Johnny's Seasoning but just a bit different. Fries are nice and thick, the buns are great, more like a roll, has a bit of texture that improves the burger instead of just fluffy nothingness like most buns. I'm guessing their burgers aren't for everyone as they do taste a bit different than most other independent places around here, but it really hits the spot for me. read more

I went here with my father for a quick lunch. He told me that they Shake 'N Go has the best burgers, so I wanted to see if that really held up. We ordered two single-patty bacon cheeseburgers and fries. After tasting the burger, I felt that while I wouldn't call it the best I've ever had, it was still an absolutely great meal for a cheap price. I've fallen in love with the sauce they dole out on the burger, tasting slightly similar to the Big Mac special sauce or possibly fry sauce. Regardless, I loved the meal and the price, and the employees gave us quick, happy service that left us feeling satisfied with our lunch. I ordered a "Monster" burger today and wasn't too impressed with it. I guess it wasn't the best choice, considering the bacon was just two thin, overcooked strips and there wasn't much of anything else on it. The only thing "monster" about it was the price. They do have really great fries, though-I might go back, but considering there are many better places to get a burger, it's unlikely. 2.5/5 with an extra .5 for the amazing fries. read more
