Ordered 2 orders shrimp and fries which on both their website and menu in the drive thru was $9.99. Shouldn't be more than $23 with tax right? WRONGGG- he charged me $27.49 for it and when I asked if the shrimp was $10 each, he said yes and the rest goes to tax.. make it make sense???? Then he proceeded to add TAX on top of that which equaled to $27.49..... Aside from that interaction, the food was nasty. Fries were soggy from oil, shrimp was nasty. Oh my goodness this place has it going on the employees are super sweet. The owners are super sweet and the place is absolutely great. I've gone there for a couple years now and I couldn't ask for a better place to eat. I would suggest this place to anyone it's off of Pacific Highway and it's worth going to, the food is delicious and the dipping sauces are wonderful. The restaurant is clean and tidy and you couldn't ask for more so if you just want to drop in and get a fast meal that taste great. This is the place to go to. If you look at reviews, this place has issues with being consistent. Reviews tend to be 5 stars or a single star. I knew I was in for an experience, so here it is. I was in the area for business and came here about noon. I was tempted to do a burger or the chicken strips. The guy that helped me said, no to the chicken, but recommended the breakfast burrito. A coupe review suggested this as well and the single photo on Yelp, looked pretty tempting. This is where everything went wrong. Per the menu, the burrito combo is $10. That includes the burrito, a drink and hashbrowns. So I requested the burrito, with Orange Juice as my beverage. Someone in the back shook their head and the cashier told me they were out of orange juice, wo when I asked what my options were, I was told soda or coffee, so I chose a Sprite. I was then given a total of $15. I asked how a $10 meal became $15 and I was told, they charge an egg fee. I get it, the price of eggs went up, but they also came back down, so continuing to charge a fee is shady. I was also told there was a charge for soda. So after being out of Orange Juice, you are going to charge me a fee for soda? Being hungry, I paid, I was told it would take 5 minutes and the food would be out. Well, the wait was 15 minutes and the food I got was warm at best. It was clear, this place was mismanaged. I'm sure my meal was done and someone was either too lazy to bring it out, or couldn't figure out who it belonged to. I also requested fry sauce to go on my hash brown patty and after I didn't get it, I asked what happened and was told, they were out of it. How are you a burger place without fry sauce. The hashbrowns also tasted funny. Either the oil was old as other people have posted, or they cook everything in the same oil. Most places have two fryers. One for potatoes and one for the meat. I also noticed that the burrito I got was close to half the size of what was pictured again, proving, this place was cutting corners. It actually tasted pretty good, but it needed a sauce. They had a mayo they put in it, but I turned that down. Mayo doesn't belong in a burrito. You either needs a good salsa, or for breakfast I will accept the option of whole or refried beans or gravy to add that savory sauce effect. So to recap. Extra charge for eggs, extra charge for soda, 15-minute wait, out of orange juice, and fry sauce and food was not served hot or in the advertised portion. For the years this place has been here, I wondered if it was a sound choice and my opinion today is no. There was no real value here, the service was slow and anytime you are out of staples from your menu, they means either you are bad with money or you can't manage inventory and neither is good for your business. My first time through and I was impressed! Got the Junior Deluxe Cheeseburger and it was quite good! Leaf lettuce, a slice of actual tomato, fresh patty and sauce. I asked them to hold the mayo (and they did) though I think next time I'll also hold the sauce. Still, it was fresh, well prepared and didn't take very long. Been anxious to stop by this place and get a good ole shrimp po boy, I wish I wouldve kept going! Shrimp Po'boy was much smaller than than my expectation. The bread was different than what I am used to. Just a regular cold almost doughy hoagie roll, shrimp, leaf lettuce a tomato slice and remoulade sauce. Produce didn't seem fresh, shrimp were a nice size but wasn't very seasoned and seemed to be cooked in old grease. The sauce also left much to be desired. It was spicy, thats it. No noticeable seasoning or flavor to it. Very disappointed. The fries were actually a nice sized order for the combo but they were soggy, cold and also seemed as if they were cooked in old or dirty grease. Crinkle cut fries hot and fresh out of clean grease might pair better with what is offered. I realize that this is a new burger joint and somethings may still need to be worked out. I may try again another time and adjust my review to reflect that experience but as of now, it is a no from me! read more

We went late on a Monday night. The drive thru was open, and the person working let us know it was only two of them so it may take a little longer. That wasn't a problem for us, and the food ended up being fresh so definitely didn't mind! The customer service was top notch. We appreciated the warning of a possible wait and they were very friendly. They even let us know about construction happening near by in case we were headed that way. The burgers were hot and fresh. Very good! The fries weren't my thing, but my boyfriend really liked them. I would definitely recommend this place. It was also cool that they were open late. Try it out! read more

I've noticed that the times I've visited, I'm always charged extra and/or not the current price as listed on the menu in the drive thru. First couple times, we had let go for the extra charge because we had the understanding that they're just starting out. But now that it's constant, it's very sketchy and losing trust in this business. And it's never the same extra charges/ "mistake" charges. Something to consider. It's our usual late night spot but with how the way things are going I might have to divert from the red flags this place is giving. read more

Finally decided to give this place a try and the service was good and polite. As the food is made fresh, expect to wait in the drive thru. So we ordered spicy fries and idk why I assumed it would have a spicy seasoning but instead it's a cheesy fries with jalapeños toppings and their spicy sauce, tbh the fries were more sweet then spicy.. the portion size for all items was huge btw! The spicy chicken sandwich was good, just the sandwich was falling apart one bite in due to the amount of sauce (which is ok just a heads up) and as you take a bite of the fish, the oil flows out. The strawberry milkshake was tasty! 3 star rating because the food was decent and idk if I'll be back, however they have only been open for a short amount of time so with time the quality may improve. read more

We were met my a friendly young man who was very knowledgeable about their food and gave us first class service. The burgers are made from locally sourced, grass fed, never frozen 85%/15% beef. They have a half-pound double cheese burger that is fantastic even with cheddar instead of American cheese Their onion rings ans and fish ar3 wonderful, and though it is not a creamy as Ivers, their claim chowder is delicious as well. The fried areore along the line of five guys fries, alot of them soft and oily. Thw only challenge we had was what ever oil theu use, be it generic "vegetable oil" or "canola oil" it tore out stomachs up. All in all a decent place to eat. read more

The employees were nice, the fries were very soggy, but not as soggy as the burger bun. It had the texture of a wet sponge and was cold to the touch. The chicken definitely wasn't crispy, and had some weird white residue on it. Threw everything away as I wasn't sure if it was fit for human consumption. As an update, about 6 months ago, I came back here to just give it a second chance. It was late and nothing else nearby was open, and I was hungry. Maybe it was a busy day, maybe it was a bad time for them, I'm not sure. There were only 3 cars in the drive thru and I waited over an hour for my food after ordering. When I pulled up to the window, they apologized and said there are only 2 people working. They seemed very stressed and overworked. The food I got was only mediocre and over priced for what it was, but I felt sympathy for them. Their managers need to lower their prices, treat their workers better and hire more people if they want this business to succeed. But I have had their fish and chips and let me say, their fries are worthless and bland BUT their fish is beer battered and hilariously large and delicious. Their tarter sauce is pretty darn good too. I usually swap out my fries for onion rings which are also beer battered and abundant. So tasty. The prices are reasonable. The service has always been nice, not entirely expedient but they do say they make everything to order so it's worth the wait. I've never had anything that's come out cold. The aesthetics of the place need some help. Not sure quite what they were going for there. It was just a redone Burger King but it already looks insanely dated. If I remember right, they're 24 hours? I thought it was a bit expensive for what I got, but I truly was impressed with the burger,. It was a mess BUT I took the paper off before eating it. PRO TIP: Leave the paper on and unwrap as you go. This burger is full of a lot of things: Burger, Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, egg, lettuce, tomato, onion, MBM sauce, Mayo, Ketchup. There is also a hot link but I asked for it to be removed. This burger was worth it in taste. I just don't see going back to pay $10 for a burger. Was it good? Yes. Was it worth the value? In my opinion, no. Not to me. It was, however, still a good burger. Onion rings: Crispy. Get some ketchup if ya want it. It's available at the counter. IDK if you can get some MBM sauce as well, but that might be good too. Soda: It's a soda, it wasn't flat. My burger was exceptional. It's still a fast food style burger, so it's not gourmet, but I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger combo (added onions) and it tasted like a memory I have of another burger. I could not tell you WHAT burger, I guess my memory is hazy, but the flavor of the burger was seemingly the exact execution of something I have had before in a way that was both delicious and nostalgic. Unlike some other burger joints, the fries are made from scratch; I was surprised and delighted to see the cook in the back scrubbing potatoes. They tasted to me like they were cooked twice, or at least blanced or something that made them flavorful and crispy in a way I associate with frites more than french fries. I'm not often in the area, but I will absolutely come back when I am. The price point is very similar to a franchise chain, but it's made to order (which means it's not ready to walk out the door, you will have to wait ~5 minutes). Highly recommended. read more

My husband and I have been looking forward to trying this new place out since we saw it was coming. Unfortunately our first time through wasn't the best. He ordered a shrimp Po'Boy, was quoted back as such, but when we got home he was given a bbq pork sandwich, and was charged for it. So it was odd we were read back as the po'boy. Customer service that day was meh to say the least. The Oreo shake was tasty! Reading the other reviews and seeing the good experiences will have us giving them another shot. This restaurant just opened so it's obvious they are working out the kinks. The drive thru worker was very nice and helpful, great customer service. The fries were hot and delicious much like Dick's but less greasy. The bacon double cheeseburger was just that, bacon, cheese, and meet, very similar to a Jack in the box burger. If you don't like the lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion etc this burger is for you. The vanilla milkshake was disappointing. However the most disappointing thing that was even on the menu was the request for tip when going through the drive thru. The employee said "there's a space for tip for you to fill in on your receipt" Are these employees not paid a normal hourly wage? Well my first time stopping at this Burger Mister place on my way home. I ordered a cod and chips meal with shrimp on the side. I got home and let me tell you I started eating the fish. The code tasted like it was half raw it was disgusting I grossed out I could not eat it. Then I figured I just eat the fries and shrimp. Well I ate a couple of the shrimp they passed only ate four. I got through it. Now this I know is not good I started eating the fries and I was so disappointed to taste the Code flavor in the fries. Now this tells me they fry the fries in the same oil as the fish. Now if they have professional cooks who know what they are doing, then they should know cooking fish or any see food in the same oil as fries or other fried food is a big No No they can contaminate other foods since sea food can have parasites and can cause food poising fast. I tried to eat one fry and had to spit it out I then had my fiancé to try one fries snd taste the code in case I was wrong. I did not tell him what I was encountering I wanted to see if it was just me or I was right. He noticed the same thing about the code not being cooked all the way plus the fries tasting like fish. The meal all together was terrible. Never , never will go there again no matter how hungry I am. I rather chew on my own nails than try and get that food down scared me I did not want to end up sick. Had to throw my meal away. I would not even give it to my dog did not want him sick either. That was a loss of good earned money. Sorry but I had to be honest. I would much rather take my chances at a new burger joint than go to McDonald's for below mediocre food that doesn't mold. So, I decided to give Burger Meister a try, and they did not disappoint. First let's talk about the cashiers and food preppers. They are all friendly and will take the time to actually talk to you. The next one to talk about is the owner. It is so easy to see where is passion lies. Just talking to him for a few minutes you can tell what kind of person he is. Kind, caring, and he has integrity. I won't go into the reason why I say this, just need to know that he is a good guy who loves his business. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with fries and OMG was it delicious! Food was pretty good! The shrimp po boy was amazing, the spicy sauce was the right amount, not too overbearing but gives the right kick. The cod fish sandwich was pretty bland, and doesn't come with anything extra on it, so remember to ask for extra toppings if desired.
