Ordered today on a whim and I'm glad I did. I walked in to pick up my food and was immediately greeted by both a friendly staff member and a welcoming, clean space. There appeared to be kiosks for ordering (I had ordered online earlier) and ample seating for dining in or waiting. I didn't stray much past the counter as my order ready to go by the time I'd gotten there. I got the 1/3lb Cheeseburger and Fries. While the burger wasn't seasoned as well as I'd have liked, the toppings were all plentiful and fresh and the fries were some of the best I've had. The amount of food was not disappointing, either. Overall, I'd consider this a great place to be my new go-to and will be back soon. read more

I heard about this place from friends. Nice little hole in the wall in Burien inside a strip mall. Nothing fancy here, but was looking forward to the burgers. They had many options including chicken and fish. The burgers are offered in 1/4 or 1/3 pound. For our first time here I decided on the basic cheeseburger. Looked great when we got it. Nice looking bun with very fresh vegetables. Thousand island ish is there special sauce. A bit more ketchup forward, but good. Overall the burger was fresh and delicious. Ate very bite. The fries were also very good with some light seasoning. You can order from a kiosk or the counter. The person who took our order was very nice and the food came out quickly. Excellent burger and Philly Cheese Steak. Soft, chewy roll and lots of gooey cheese. My mistake was ordering it without peppers as I don't like onions. Could have added more flavor and moisture had I ordered it that way. Fries have a yummy coating that make them taste like they're double fried. Even the draught beer in an icy cold mug was spot-on. Brioche bun was a little stiff and added a sweetness that distracts from the burger. The lettuce was shredded so thin that you might as well not have it added nothing to the burger. So I'm giving this business 3 stars with room for improvement with a future visit. I ordered the red wagon burger and hold all the lettuce, tomatoes, pickle and house sauce. I wanted to add bbq sauce and a slice of Provolone cheese. My burger came and all the condiments were on it and I got my add ons. So someone wasn't paying attention to the order. Burger was juicy and messy but it tasted great. I ultimately had to eat it with a knife and fork. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to the need for utensils. Shakes were very good. I ordered the bacon BBQ burger and it was a made to order 1/3lb burger cooked to order (still out in less than 10,12 mins) with 3 strips Applewood bacon, BBQ sauce, a LARGE made from scratch onion ring, tomato, special sauce, ABSOLUTELY DIVINE PICKLES, and topped off on a warm buttered brioche bun!!! This thing was heavenly, and boy it was massive! Without a doubt a solid 9/10 the ONLY thing that kept it from a perfect 10/10 ×?was it was just a pricey. Went back to give them another shot. Honestly their front cashier is lovely, and the most redeeming part of this experience. I now understand that the excellent service is an addition to their food offering and quality. If Red Wagon was rated on the staff alone, then they would have full marks. The definitely need to improve the quality of their takeout containers, as the disintegrating wrapping paper is just bad; but there is a lot to like here. I appreciate that they are using freshly grilled toppings, as well as freshly grilled/cooked meats. Their Red Wagon burger is a tasty mess to eat. Their fish sandwich is Top Class. Really appreciate that they have tap beer and chilled glasses too. Although the ambiance is sort of drive-in burger bar, its comfortable enough to have a beer and eat a burger. Not the kind of place that you will hang out with friends, but that is more an outcome of the location than the store itself.
