They even give out promotions, I got a free fry for spending 15.00 via the kiosk, which was easy to do as there burgers average about that price. Went at about 12 on a Thursday it was very busy, the line was to the door. They have 4 self service kiosks but only 1 was working. It took about 15 minutes to get the food. All the tables were taken both inside and out so it was a waiting game until someone got up. I got a single Avocado Bacon Burger with fries and Cookies and Cream Shake. The burger itself was good, the patty is thin which is what I prefer and the bun was soft. The sauce was mainly to one side which was disappointing since it didn't cover the whole burger. The avocado and bacon was good, but also more concentrated in one area. The fries are nice and crispy and tasted great, we split them which was just enough. We also split the Shake which was absolutely amazing, it has to be the best Cookies and Cream Shake I've ever had. Each sip and cookie bits which were not too thick to ever get stuck in the straw. Overall, I would recommend Shake Shack the burger was good besides fromt the spread of the sauce. Since it was very busy and newly open I could see this improving hopefully. What else would we want to do on Memorial Day than stand in line for the newest burger spot in Buffalo? We heard that Shake Shack had opened last week and tried to get over sooner, but finally made it this week. As a fan of all things burgers, I am happy Buffalo is finally getting some more attention on the national front with some big names. I am a local burger spot guy but I want to try the chains when I can too. When we arrived, the line was long but not too bad. I would say it took about 25-30 minutes total to wait before we got our food. Pretty standard with a new spot opening and a line out the door. The interior of the restaurant is very modern and feels big and open to sit in while you eat or wait for your food. The menu is great and has a lot of options for burgers, chicken, and even vegetarian options. We opted to get the classics for the first visit. We had a shack burger, double shack burger, chicken sandwich, some fries, and fried pickles. Everything tasted great! The burgers were great with the shack sauce and the chicken sandwich might be one of my new favorites. The crinkle cut fries are always a hit for me and even the fried pickles were good. Just wish there were more fries and pickles in the order but all good. We will definitely be back once it slows down a little bit. We downloaded the app and have some perks to use up soon. read more

We unfortunately didn't care for the cheese fries that much, could be personal preference because we thought the cheese had a weird/ different taste. The fries without the cheese would be delicious! The burgers are always fresh, I love the crinkle fries, and the black and white milkshakes are the BEST. My parents also love the chicken sandwiches. My niece and I go on random lunch dates and today we chose Shake Shack. This was my first time trying it in Buffalo, NY, I had it in an airport before and was pleased with the food and this was my nieces first time trying it. We split the sandwiches and fries just to sample some different things. The Shackburger is really good, the meat tastes good, the vegetables are fresh and the look of the meat is more like home vs fast food restaurants. The Chicken Shack sandwich was just okay, the pickle gives the most flavor from all the ingredients. The herb mayo was bland and the chicken was fried perfectly but it didn't have any flavor or seasoning, the fries were just crinkle cut fries, nothing to really discuss about them. We both enjoyed our shakes, they were thick and the flavors were good. My niece rated it an 8.5/10 and I rated it a 8. If we were to go back we would only get beef items and shakes.
