I decided to stop in and try this new establishment on Transit Road and see what the offerings were. We decided on 2 different burgers a classic and something like a mushroom Swiss burger. The cashier was great as he waited and gave us time to decide. The ambiance was nice and the atmosphere was very clean and organized. There is an option to eat in or take out. My boyfriend picked here to go for his birthday! It's probably his favorite smash-burger place around. When you walk in it's nice and bright with about 15 tables. You can either place your order self service or with a cashier which is nice. We were the only ones in there until we were finishing up, which is when the crowd came. This is the best location yet! Huge indoor space for seating, giant menu boards, self ordering kiosks, and AUTOMATIC DOORS?? This place has it all. And we haven't even talked about the amazing food yet! We've been to the other two locations plenty of times and they're great too. The service here is always quick. The food is hot and delicious every time. But this location feels like they have leveled up. From the decor and the layout, to the expanded menu, they have come a long way in a short time. I ended up going with the monster smashburger, a chicken sandwich, and some fries. No I didn't eat all of it and it wasn't all for me, but the bites I had of each were all great. The monster smashburger rivals every burger in Buffalo. It's huge, flavorful, and hits all the best aspects of a high quality burger. The fries are great and if you get a side of moo sauce (or a bottle), it's the perfect compliment. I am so excited to have them in a new location right around the corner. After months and months and months of anticipation, I finally got to try this place and it did not disappoint. I personally ordered from one of the two kiosks (there is someone manning the register as well). The kiosk was extremely user-friendly and gave descriptions of each item as well. You can customize here too and get your extra sauces! I ordered the hot chicken and fries with moo sauce to dip them in. The hot chicken sandwich was excellent and the perfect amount of heat where it was spicy but didn't ruin your tastebuds. I loved the flavor and how crispy it was! Ordering process includes entering your name and phone number for a text notification when your order is ready. Place your order, grab pop from the cooler and find a table, then wait for your order. Name was not called but the number on receipt was called. Employee placed tray on counter and walked away to kitchen. Pick up your tray and go back to eat. Five minutes later (AFTER starting to eat), I received a text letting me know that my order was ready! Not impressed. Nothing special. read more

The junior and classic smash burger were dry but the bread was soggy. The burgers tasted as if they were frozen, thawed, and then cooked. The Five Guys burger definitely has better quality and tastes better. The moo sauce was tasty. The hot chicken sandwich was just average. The breading was dry and super crumbly. Compared to Popeyes chicken sandwich; the fast food chain prevails with the gumption of the chicken and softness. Lastly, the moo-tine was a solid hit! This was the best thing we got from here. I've been to this location several times since it's near my house. I'll start with the downsides: the menu is limited (smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, pork sandwich, and fries), and the sodas are too expensive. The former is not an issue for me. The latter is only an issue if I eat there. Service has been consistently good. My order has been right every time, and it's pretty easy to time pickup because the cooking time is also consistent. I'm not sure what happened with the other reviews here, but I've never had a problem. The smash burgers are what you'd expect...a bit greasy, crispy on the edges, with the cheese melted into the patties. The moo sauce works well with it. The moother clicker has one smash burger patty and one chicken patty. The pairing gives a little crunch with each bite. It's my favorite. The fries with the smash burger patty (I forget what they call it) is surprisingly good. The sauce is drizzled all over the meat and through the fries, and the combination makes otherwise average fries quite good. The price point is around Five Guys level, and I give this one a bit of an edge on the food. Service feels a little faster than five guys, especially if ordering fries. read more

Ordered online. Went in at scheduled time. There were about 13-15 people standing waiting for their order. Could not get the two people working at counter to help. They called out an order that was ready and customer asked if this one bag had five burgers and five orders of fries. They had no response except, uhhh. "Hold on." Eventually I got their attention and asked do you have an order on your computer and gave my name. Responded we will call you. While I waited a manager came out and spoke with above mentioned customer. Told him we will refund your money. Customer asked are you going to make my food order? Manager became irate and made him come outside. The manager pushed customer out the door and an actual altercation ensued to the point that half the customers inside ran to window and door to watch! Manager getting aggressive with a guy who just wanted what he paid for. Manager then went around back of building and reentered grill area because everyone crowding around. It's now 30 minutes after my pick up time and a bag with no number is on the counter. Again I asked the person at counter, is that my order? he says what's your name? Give it to him, and he doesn't even look and says no we will call you. I said I placed my order 50 minutes ago and ignores me. So go back to wait and alert on my phone says my order is ready. So go back up, show him phone and he looks at the same two bags from five minutes before, its my order. Shoves it at me. Get home. Burgers way overcooked and super dry. fries were good. Definitely not worth the wait, and Five Guys and Teds are way better. Pautlers will be open soon. Don't bother with this location, they do not have a good system in place. This place is a mess. I waited 30 minutes past the time my order was supposed to be done and then I didn't get everything I ordered. I watched order after order getting picked up and not being correct. There was one guy who was also waiting for over 30 minutes for his order - they gave it to someone else - so he was told that he needed to wait another 30 minutes. He was obviously upset but restrained and argued that he should be next to get his food. This culminated in the parking lot with the owner telling him to get the f@@@ out of here. This review is for the Transit Rd location. Not sure why they don't have that location listed to review yet. Ok...listen... this place was HYPED up by everyone I know, including food critics. I was excited to try it. The place itself is great looking and clean. My husband and I were the only people there. The entire time. Which should have been a clue.. I ordered the regular chicken sandwich and fries. My husband ordered a burger. The fries were pretty good. Just seasoned with pepper. Run of the mill, McDonalds like fries. But, good. His burger was ::in his words:: mediocre. Our coworkers couldn't give this place better reviews, so he was pretty disappointed. My chicken sandwich was something out of a 7-11 at midnight. The bun looked smushed down, and whatever they battered the chicken in was just falling out of the sandwich all over. BECAUSE THE PIECE OF CHICKEN WAS TINY. It was MAYBE half an inch think and about 4" long. This was not even a tender fit for a toddler. No joke. I was shocked at the size. Did they forget to put the rest of the chicken in??? Who knows. But I was able to take FIVE bites without hitting the chicken at all. That's severely disappointing. Not to mention what I paid for this shit. MAYBE the Elmwood location is different, or maybe I just got the lazy workers but holy moly I'll never go back. I have photos but i can't seem to post them here. It was that bad.
