I don't get the hype. The burger itself is good, love the soft buns but the underside of the burgers got wet/mushy inside of the paper wrapping. They offer a burger that has a cheese stuffed portobello mushroom which was unique and a tasty surprise. The Cookies n'cream milkshake was good. I read someone's review where they equated the fries to the precut frozen crinkle cut fries, and I agree wholeheartedly. They taste like nothing. Run of the mill average burger place. Had a craving for the cookies & cream milkshake. Oh, so good! Thick, creamy, and filled with Oreo cookie pieces. The service, however, was not so good. While there were 9 (yes, nine!) workers milling around the kitchen, at least that many people were waiting for their orders to be filled. How long can it take to make some burgers and shakes? We also ordered a cup of vanilla custard with some Oreo cookie crumbles on top. The portion was miniscule and the price was nearly as much as the milkshake. Very disappointing! I do love me some Shake Shack and am super surprised I've never reviewed it until now. Took the GF to eat there as for some unknown reason she has never been there! We went on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't slow but it wasn't really busy either. Apparently there was some sort of Spartan race nearby because most of the people there were walking around with their medals on while eating a gigantic burger. More power to 'em. I got the smoke shack (single) and my GF got a Shackburger (double), we decided to share a fry and a drink. The food took a while to come out, no thanks to the weekend warriors. When we were notified by the buzzer thingy, we were excited and hungry. We dug into our burgers. They were hot and juicy. My burger was good but I have had better Smoke Shacks. It really wasn't that spicy. No biggie, I ate it anyways. The fries were hot and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Random note, we dont like their ketchup! It is too sweet. I can't say I have had that happen before. We finished our food and decided that we must have a Concrete, as it was the temperature of the sun that day. We got a Pie Oh My, as we LOVE the Good Pie Company's desserts. Disappointingly enough, the concrete really didn't have that much pie in in. Had I have known that, i would've opted for another flavor. It was also really melted when we got it, so that was weird (see photo). This place was super packed for a weeknight in my opinion. There were at least 10 people in front of my friend & I right when we walked in the door. Luckily for us, they are pretty quick here. You have to order burgers and sides separately but trust me when I say you HAV to get the fries. They were super hot and you could just tell they were very fresh. Just the right amount of salt and crispness. On that note, I was disappointed when I grabbed my burger the bottom bun was soggy. Huge let down! But the fries and awesome chocolate shake made up for it. The shake was rich and the whipped cream on top made it even better. I got just a plain cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato which had good flavor and did not taste greasy. If you want ketchup (who doesn't?) they have it in containers by the door. I visited on January 10, 2023. I order two Shake Shack burgers on the app. I then proceeded to stand on line to specifically tell the cashier I wanted my burgers well done. She said all of them are well done. I tried to say I wanted mine specifically well done, but she didn't seem to care much at all. Basically it seemed like they make all burgers exactly the same a la McDonald's. Shocker, when I got the burger it was a little on the pink side, exactly what I didn't want. Given that the place was crowded and jammed packed full of little kids (I later learned it was a fundraiser for a local elementary school) I didn't even bother to complain. I just ate it, it was okay, and I left. All I can say is thank gosh I had a TMobile coupon for a free burger. I certainty didn't feel heard by the cashier and the place is run by teenagers and seems to be for teenagers. I just don't think it is for me. I don't see myself returning. read more

This is a nice place to eat if you have a craving for hamburgers made with quality angus beef. Other comfort foods like fries, hot dogs, and ice cream. It has nice indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of parking. Clean restrooms. The prices are comparable to other hamburger places with quality/fresh ingredients and cooked to order. You place your order at the counter and they give you a beeper that signals you when your order is ready. The counter service is friendly and they are customer centric. My friend wanted her regular double burger well done but it was cooked medium. They immediately cooked her a new one and let us keep the one that was medium instead of trashing it (I ate that one too). I highly recommend the Shack double burger. It was so juicy and delicious. Definitely 5/5. So yummy .. I practically inhaled it. The regular double burger was excellent but not as juicy since it does not come with cheese or their special sauce. 5/5 The regular crinkle fries were good 5/5. The lemonade I would not get again .. it was not fresh tasting 3/5. We would definitely come here again when we have a craving for great burgers. Clean and pleasant atmosphere, fast, friendly, and customer centric service. No tip jar or annoying solicitation of tips on credit card receipts for counter service. This is pretty good for a fast food style burger but not my favorite. I don't like that they don't have veggie burgers. They have a portobello burger that's breaded and filled with cheese, and I wouldn't eat that. So there's really no veggie option but grilled cheese then. I love their fries - crinkle cut. Their shakes and sundaes are custard based. Much better than ice cream, in my opinion. They've added fried chicken sandwiches and bites to the menu. Not exactly sure what all the hype is about Shake Shake, but wanted to try it out for lunch. it rates slightly better than average. It's your basic order at the counter and await your order. The menu is quite stark with only a handful of choices. All items are sold individually so no real combos. You have hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken sandwiches, nuggets and fries. The fries can add bacon and/or cheese. They have milkshakes and I saw beer ... The burgers are very well done. Don't expect any pink here. The outside has a light crust and you can get one or two patties. Most condiments, other than their sauce, are added by packets after order is served. Their sauce is perhaps a mayo based ayoli and has very little taste. It's rather bland and too much mayo -- boring, not something to dip fries in. Luckily the griddled burgers are tasty on their own. The cold, fresh , lettuce and tomatoes appeared grade A. The fries are crinkle cut and fried crispy to avoid the heavy mashed potato center. The cheese sauce was also a little strange and very bland. It's not queso and it's not nacho cheese. It's like basic American cheese melted smooth. Perhaps like a fondue cheese. Both cheese and burgers need seasoning ! I don't see any real big difference over Five Guys burgers which offer way more toppings. Neither exceed the Fuddruckers Burgers and crisp fresh vegetable toppings. Red Robin is hit or miss but offers many additional choices and order while sitting down. I tried it and found nothing super exciting but nothing bad either. I freaking LOVE Shake Shack and I will use this review to sing its praises! I was introduced to Shake Shack in Madison Square Park in New York City and immediately fell in love with the simplicity of the burgers and fries. It's also one of the more popular/touristy spots in the city, but I think it's not without reason. So while I was in South Florida, I knew I had to make a trip down to the Boca Raton Shake Shack. Florida didn't actually have any Shake Shacks until recently, so you can imagine how excited I was. The location itself is very nice and clean. It's got a modern feel of a burger joint, and the kitchen is very open -- AKA you can see all of the food and shakes being made right in front of you. You order your food, are given a buzzer, then you wait. I ordered the regular Shack Burger, which is a cheeseburger with cheese and Shack Sauce, which I can only describe as kind of a mayo-like sauce that is quite tasty. The cheese is gooey, but not too gooey to the point where it's dripping out of the burger. The meat itself was cooked perfectly -- the cashier even asked us if the temperature they normally cook their burgers at was alright for us, which indicated to me that I could have ordered it at a different/more well-done temperature if I wanted to. Now, this Shack has gotten rid of the crinkle fries, which are one of God's greatest gifts to mankind, but I won't knock the regular-shaped fries because they are pretty darn good too. Not too oily, but fried just right and they aren't too salty either. And if that wasn't enough awesome American food, you can get ICE CREAM! And concretes and all these different mix-ins like blondie brownies and graham crackers. Shake Shack does daily specials as well as special ice cream concoctions for different locations, so definitely try their concretes or shakes if you get the chance. It's not bad, but people really hype up Shake Shack, but it's nothing more than an average fast food burger. They have a limited menu (like 4 kinds of burgers and then hot dogs) but they change up their custard and shake flavors weekly, which is nice... Until you see how expensive everything is!! I Ate here with a friend and our two burgers, hot dog, and drinks came up to $35!!! There are a dozen other burger places that I would rather fork over that kind of money. There is tight seating, so you might not be able to get a table during busy hours. There are a lot of tables outside, but none of them were bussed, so expect to clean yourself. There is also a Bocce ball alley outside. I ate a Shake Stack, which is a beef patty and a portobello mushroom stuffed with cheese. It's pretty tasty, but $9 for a patty smaller than the width of my palm. I got a chocolate hazelnut shake, which was delicious! But also $5.50 for like 6 or 8 oz of shake. I'm not trying to sound cheap, but Shake Shack is expensive for very average burgers and shakes!!! I would much rather cook at home and eat something more filling. read more

Absolutely terrible place. Im going to preface by saying that this negative review has nothing to do with the food. I placed an online order for curbside pickup. The order was to be ready at 6:01. I waited 10 minutes before going inside. They were extremely busy so I understood why no one came out when I said I had arrived on the app. The cashier was beyond flustered with a customer who had been waiting for food and wouldn't help me when the manager stepped in to help with the customer in front of me. When the manager finally got to me she said my food was coming up next. No, it wasn't. Several people had their food in their hands before mine. I saw a bag placed on the table and wondered if it was mine, 10 minutes passed and it indeed was mine. The bag was placed in my hands at 635pm. This was a take out order. I was given a shake that was pulled from a cooler that was totally melted. Tiny serving of fries for 3.99. I noticed and they corrected this. But when I got back to work, the hamburger was black and totally over cooked. I lifted the bun on the chicken sandwich to put the pickle back in and all the fried part had disintegrated leaving a naked chewy chicken breast. What a rip off for $30! Burgify is sooo much better. Im closeby to a BurgerFi and although Shack Shack was flavorful, it's not closeby and the curbside pickup did not go according to plan. After watching 3 cars parked in the curbside pickup go indoors to retrieve their order, I thought maybe it's a good idea to try the same. My order awaited on the in-store pickup spot ... so the wait outside I guess was pointless. They also forgot to include the honey mustard with the 6 piece. It's next to the plaza that has Whole Foods and P.F. Changs. The thing with Shake Shack is that their are pretty pricey for the amount that they give. The hotdogs are reasonably long, but the burgers are small. I believe the cheapest burger was around $5. I got the Shack burger and it was delicious!!. I have been here over 5 times now. After living in NYC, i naturally became addicted to Shake Shack's deliciousness. It was annoying to only have the lincoln rd mall location in South Beach for my cravings. Luckily this place in Boca is great. The burgers are grilled and have a great flavor. The bun is perfect, and lettuce and tomato are always fresh. They have custards, which is basically like a DQ blizzard. Their soft serve is super thick and creamy, and their flavors are great! Also ordered 6 chicken bites for about $5, they were incredibly small. Save your money and go somewhere else. The whole bill for our meals was $40, not worth the price. It was not three complete meals either. No meal came with a drink or fries, including the chicken bites. The food was not that good either. The chicken bites were incredibly greasy.
