DELICIOUS. THREE times here And I could never get tired of it. I love how they have a vegetarian option for those who don't eat meat! But even if it is a vegetable, I loveeeeee their shroom burger. This is the closest shake shack to me and it's a hassle to get here BUT ITS WORTH IT. I had the opportunity to take my son ----future Yelp Elite prospect btw---- here for a burger and shake while we were passing through the neighborhood. This is a slightly dated review, before deciding to take the no-meat venture this year. In part - my son said this was my last burger review and was excited to review together with me. I must admit, parking is a bit of a mission. The lot is very small and causes a traffic jam off the main road while waiting for cars to enter/exit their tight spaces. We caught a spot after a few circles around the block. We decided to go with the classic ShackBurger. The chopped peppers, thick cut pickles and shacksauce paired very well with the quality beef and the crispy fries were perfect. My son had thoroughly enjoyed his salted caramel milkshake. His only criticism was that, compared to a Five Guys burger, he thinks its a bit smaller in size. He would've appreciated a bit more burger but was very happy overall with the quality and freshness. Will be returning soon with the rest of the family....and I get to eat more fries. read more

I honestly love Shake Shack. I've tried several things on their menu and have never been disappointed. I feel that they're much tastier than Bugerfi or 5 guys. Surprisingly, their fries also hold their crispyness!! I've ordered delivery through Postmates and when the fries arrive, they're still nice and crispy. As for online ordering, I liked how they packaged our food with extra condiments & utensils. It's the little things that go far. Yesterday both my son and I were craving Shake Shack's burgers and we went and had a delicious time there. We ordered the shake shake and the smoke burger. I liked mine more, the smoke one had bacon and spicy peppers inside and I loved it. Both burgers were so juicy, with melted cheese and that soft killing semisweet bread that I love!! We also had their original fries and these were scrumptiously good, freshly fried and with an amazing taste. I ate them with all my heart jejeje The lady taking my order was so nice, she suggested which one to choose, since the mushroom burger I was going to order originally didn't have meat. She noticed I didn't know that and helped me out. This location is ample, with comfortable seating area inside and outside. While I was waiting for the order, my kids were playing foosball outside. Second time coming here on a Friday night and just packed as ever! The lines can get pretty long and the food takes a while too considering it's just burgers. We ordered a burger and a chicken sandwich. I was hoping the chicken was grilled but instead it is fried. I'm a huge burger gal but these just don't do it for me. They still do taste quite fresh but they're a bit too greasy for my taste. However, the fries and milkshakes are bomb!! You can't go wrong ordering those here. Wish it had a drive-thru so I can order just that. The restaurant has plenty of seating available both indoor and outdoor. As well as games including a ping pong table and TVs as well. My companion and I decided to spontaneously visit Shake Shack on a Friday night. We're both burger fans, so we initially thought that Shake Shack was a solid option to visit. We both ordered the SmokeShack burger (I ordered the single and he ordered the double). I loved the bacon in the SmokeShack but I didn't really enjoy the cherry pepper relish in the burger. If you're sensitive to spiciness then I would suggest getting the ShackBurger or something else on the menu. The burgers here are tasty but they're honestly pretty small. The biggest reason why I don't think I'll come back is because of how expensive the food is for the amount of food that you're getting. My companion and I only ordered two small burgers (no fries, no drink, no dessert) and it turned out to be almost 20 dollars. It's just too expensive for the amount of food you're getting. I must say that I do like the staff here. I completely forgot about my purse as I was leaving the restaurant and one of the workers ran outside to give me my purse back before I left. I also like how they have a ping pong table that people can play on as they're waiting for their food. I think the food here is pretty good but it's way too expensive for the amount of food that you're getting. With shake shack, I'm a firm believer in the go big or go home philosophy. So, I went with the double shake stack with a black cow (root beer float). For those of you in the know, this spot has this really cool shroom burger that has this molten cheese inside of it. It's totally dope as a vegetarian option, but for an omnivore like me, I just add it on as a third patty. That's right, because you aren't just gonna do this on a single. Sound a little loco? Do it, get back to me. This spot has a ping pong table it's a great casual environment. It's open and airy, it's a cool spot. The service is always cheerful. You probably have also heard of it described as the East Coast's In-N-Out Burger. It offers a solid selection of typical fast food, ranging from burgers to hot dogs, shakes to fried, and everything in between. This store is conveniently located near the UM campus. So it is no doubt a great place to visit while taking study breaks from the library. I came here on weekday dinner time and I was surprised that the line was not very long. While I'm not really a big fans of burger, I really like their Chick'n Shack. It was delicious and flavorful. The chicken breast was sufficiently moist inside, yet pleasantly crispy outside. The buttermilk herb mayo and the prickle that come on the sandwich add a burst of flavor. The crinkle fries were also very good - fried to golden brown, crispy perfection. The cheese was tasty. The service was good and I really like the decor. The tables here were made from reclaimed bowling alley flooring from Brooklyn, NY. And the bathroom was clean. What really impressed me about this location is that it's really environmentally friendly. There's a recycle receptacles for all recyclable objects. The restaurant also has many plants towards the roof of the establishment that surrounds the perimeter. Even the napkins are made from recyclable materials too. It was such a breath of fresh air! I have ordered from them 3 times, through Grubhub First time just before they were supposed to deliver my order was canceled because " they ran out of an item I had ordered". Anytime I'm in the mood for a good 'ol burger- this is my to go spot. Quick, fast, and good. I always order the single burger and it never ceases to fail me. Perfect amount of juiciness without the greasiness. Their shakes never disappoints and the newly introduced black sesame shake is to die for. Terrible employees. A line of people to pick up their Uber eats and online orders. A guy went in to ask for his order and was told to go back outside and that there was a line. Our cashier/order taker was perfectly friendly and welcoming. The food was ready in a very respectable amount of time, and it was delivered hot and, as always, delicious. Today, I had the Shack-cago Dog, Fries and a drink. The dog is a real beef hot dog with the right amount of snap and smokiness. I love Hebrew National hot dogs and I think this stands up to that standard very well. The fries were also spot on. They have an extreme crinkle to them which results in a very crispy fry - a must in my book. First visit to shake shack and very happy that the hype is real. I'm shocked I haven't tried this place earlier! The burger is well made. I ordered the one with bacon and my boyfriend ordered the cheese burger. We both agreed that the burger tasted very clean and fresh unlike other burger joints that seem very heavy. We also ordered chili cheese fries, they are amazing a hint of spicy but not over whelming. A great family place. Next time I'll bring the dog to enjoy the dog menus and order a milk shake which I had no room for on this visit. When I heard they had returned the government assistance money I decided to give them a try and support their business. The fries were great and the cheese sauce was good. The meat on the burger was excellent and the mushroom burger was delightful. They only get three stars because the bread was soggy and did not travel well. I understand brioche is a different type of bread but it was soggy so it did not work in this environment. The other thing was that while I was waiting to pick up my order there were a ton of flys bothering me. What can I add that others have not said? The burgers are good and so are the shakes. The fries are OK, although they look and taste like the frozen crinkle cut fries you buy at the grocery store. Not bad, but not as good as hand-cut fries, However, the meal is pricey. A single cheeseburger, fries, and cola costs about $12, and a decent size but not huge shake is almost $6. Should you go here? Sure, so long as you realize what you will pay. I enjoyed the meal and would go back again. Are the burgers better than In-n-Out? They are on a par, different but also good. Other reviewers have commented on the problems parking. The lot is not small, with room for about 20 cars by my estimate. Finding alternate spots nearby looks challenging. I came here shortly after opening time (11 AM) on a Sunday and was able to find a fee open spots. The previous Saturday afternoon had a full lot and no signs of where to go. Shake Shack borders between 2 and 3 stars IMO. I can sum up my review in a sentence, and it's pretty much in line with what others have already written: Tasty food that really hits the spot, but small portions, a limited menu and the place is overpriced. That's the summary. I'd heard a lot of hype about Shake Shack's Lincoln Road location when it first opened but I'd never made it there. Several months ago I saw that Smoke't Southern Kitchen here on US-1 just below the Gables had closed, and later saw a "coming soon" sign for Shake Shack and I was looking forward to its opening. A few of us stopped at this restaurant on a recent Sunday for dinner. Though the parking lot was full (the last space just opened up as we were pulling in), the restaurant itself was maybe at 1/2 capacity if that. I looked at the large menu board which basically takes up an entire wall, and immediately was underwhelmed by the options. You've got a choice of 4 types of burgers (one being a "build your own"), a mushroom burger for the vegetarians, a hot dog prepared in one of 4 ways, and fries. That's it. That's the entire food menu. Actually, their drink and custard offerings take up a full 2/3 of the menu at this restaurant. To their credit, they do have a respectable beer/wine selection and they also have a few items on the menu for their 4 legged, furry patrons. My order was relatively simple; a single Shake Burger, an order of fries and a vanilla milkshake. Those 3 items totaled nearly $14. While I thought the prices of the burger ($4.80) and fries ($2.70) were OK, as others mentioned, the portions aren't very large. The shake itself was especially small (looked like maybe a 12 or 14 ounce cup to me) and at just under $6, was way overpriced. To be honest, I thought the flavor was similar to a traditional DQ shake, where you'll pay 1/2 the price for double the size. It should also be noted that, even though the place wasn't very full and there seemed to be a small army of people back in the glass enclosed kitchen putting the orders together, my wait was at least 5 or 6 minutes before my food was ready. With a 5 Guys less than a block away also on US-1, it'll be interesting to see if there's enough business to support both burger joints, especially when this one delivers an experience that's pretty much "meh" at best. read more

Ground beef patty that extended the length of the bun, sauced just the right amount, fresh lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. The burger is assembled perfectly. The Shake Shack sauce tasted like a combo of ketchup, mayo, a touch of mustard, and horsey sauce. The horsey added a nice zing to it. The fries were delicious and large. I ordered the cheese fries and they came with the perfect amount of cheese sauce.You can also request fries with no salt, twice fried, you name it. Shake Shack accommodates. I washed down my glutenous meal with a blueberry lemonade (which was a special) and it was divine. Nice and tart. The cashier let me sample it before I committed to the purchase. And because I was feeling extra fat and super hungry, I ordered a shake. They make their shakes with a homemade vanilla custard. I got mine in peanutbutter and extra thick. It was excellent.
