Went here last week. The burger was nice and juicy and I added special toppings and also ordered the fries. It was like 8 pm and seemed to take a little bit of time to get my food. Feel like there is a push for mobile ordering since there are several self service monitors set up for ordering. There was a lot of window and booth like chair seating. I do feel like the burger and fries were more on the expensive side $20 for Burger and fries is a bit insane for fast food type of restaurant. Everything was delicious.

I have wanted to try Shake Shack for years as its a publicy traded company so have been dying to see what the hype was about. You can't beat the location in Downtown Crossing. The food is good, not great, and the prices are fair, about equivalent of Five Guys Burgers but honestly its better. The Hot Dogs for $4.50 are one of the best deals going.

Always love a shake shack and was happy to find one in downtown Boston. Easy to order , and the food is consistent ----delicious and juicy burger , albeit a little small but enough for me ---and crispy shoe string fries . Served was friendly and service was quick despite the line. Nice location and perfect for a quick lunch while on the "trail."

A Good shake shack location. Clean, nice employees. Food doesn't disappoint. Plenty of seating.

The shake shack on milk and Washington St ...very close to the freedom trail. All ordering is done on customized computer screen, super easy and quick. You either leave your phone number or pick up number for them to call or text your order. Fresh burger with crispy crinkle fries.

Both the kid and hubs have never had a Shake Shack meal before so we stopped in for lunch on our last day in Boston. Location is conveniently within walking distance of the Downtown Crossing T station. We used a kiosk (because we need time to look at the menu and decide!) and ordered a ShackBurger, White Truffle Burger, and SmokeBurger (names are approximate haha), fries, Dreamsicle shake and a large pomegranate basil drink. Total was about $40. I gave my phone number and received a text to pick up shortly after. The burgers look really small (we're used to big ones) but they were surprisingly filling. The buns were soft and the burger patties taste freshly made. The fries were crispy too. The pomegranate drink was a little tart but refreshing. The milkshake though tasted solely like vanilla, no blood orange flavor at all. The color was also a giveaway, given that the picture of the shake looked orange-y. The kid went to ask about the milkshake and was told it's supposed to taste a bit of both. But he's afraid to make a scene so he let it be. Seems to be a popular spot, not overly busy, and the turnover was relatively quick.

The presentation of the food here was probabky the worst I've ever had at any Shake Shack restaurant I've been to ... and I've visited my fair share. On an early Sunday afternoon in the financial district, this restaurant was as empty as I've ever seen a Shake Shack, yet when the burger came out, it literally looked like someone threw it on a tray from across the room. The Double Shack burger has two burgers and cheese. The two burgers were different sizes and not uniform. They placed the larger one on top and the smaller one on the bottom and nothing really 'fit together. The buns were askew and I basically had to do my best to reassemble it. It was also literally dripping with grease ... by far the greasiest Shake Shack burger I have ever eaten. Maybe they normally 'de-grease' the burgers at other stores? I can't say that the burger wasn't delicious. Even this monstrosity of a burger lookswise kicked the shit out of any Five Guys or Wahlburger burger I have ever had from a taste level. They aren't scared of salt here! The burger had a lot of seasoning ... and the french fries were twice as salty as any fries I've had. But ... I happen to like salt and would rather have over-seasoned vs. underseasoned fries any day of the week. The value of Shake Shack is getting rough. $12 for a Shack Burger and fries. Ouch. I remember only a few years ago complaining about it being $8. Inflation sucks. In my beloved Los Angeles, nothing beats an In N Out burger ... nothing! However, Shake Shack fries are much better than In N Out, although not made freshly made, like In N Out. And ... unless I am missing a secret menu, Shake Shack has nothing like animal style. It's like $2 extra for a few pumps of orange cheese sauce. I will say the guy behind the counter was great. He was polite, efficient and made the experience better ... to all the Gen Z'ers who complain that they actually have to (gasp!) speak to someone vs. typing your order into a kiosk. Overall, it was a very good tasting burger that looked like it was run over by a car. Shake Shack doesn't disappoint and in Massachusetts, it's one of the best burgers, chain or otherwise, you'll find, even if the price is approaching what you'd get at a sit down restaurant.

I'm never one to stop at a burger chain with so much to offer nearby, but we had a long day and had just got off the train with Shake Shack right in front of us. The plan was a quick bite before heading back to the hotel. It was late, not much was open because of covid, and I've always wanted to try Shake Shack. To be honest, the food was good and the reason for my star rating making it to two. I would definitely like to try SS again under better circumstances and at a different location. The service here from start to finish was atrocious (except one young kid who was trying to be helpful... I wish I got his name). We were placing orders on the screens and had a group of us that just arrived back from a long train ride. A couple of us went to use the restroom after to find it was locked. We went to inquire and were told it was closed. Out of confusion, I asked for clarification and she said it's nasty and they didn't have time to clean it so it's just closed. They didn't have any plan to take care of it either because they were short staffed. She was practically yelling at us about how shit the staff is and how they can't keep up. It continued on from there and anything we needed or was mixed up she had an attitude. This location needs an overhaul.

LOL I almost couldn't believe this place was real? What a joke of an establishment. This was on Sunday at around 8pm and yes I get it, they were tired and I was tired. I don't think that excuses what they did though? This review is mostly on service but still definitely touches on the food. I mean look at my ítem? It was so unimpressive and un presentable and not at all spicy. They definitely forgot the sauce and literally put a tiny sliver of bacon. Look at the pictures online from their marketing page to see a before and after. I could expect this from like McDonald's or Burger King but for a 10 dollar sandwich, I truly expected more. It was disgusting and flavorless and oh! Don't forget cold. When we entered me and my friend were the only ones inside the store. I would say about every five minutes another person would walk in the store and order. keep in mind I placed my order first on the tablet and paid and then my friend did right after me, but somehow everyone who came in afterwards for about the next 20 minutes, were getting their food except for us, eventually they called my friends name and they got served the food and I decided to wait about five more minutes. Eventually I grew impatient and I went up to the cashier to ask them what happened to my food. Not only did they forget to print out the receipt. Somehow I guess they had decided that they already made one that was just sitting out, but then right in front of me, the cashier yelled out "oh shit this gonna be cold! He been waiting" literally right in front of my face. I thought oh ok fine whatever they'll make another, but no. They just packaged it in front of me and then put it in a bag and handed it to me. I was kind of shook but also tired after waiting twenty minutes so I just took it and stared at her kind of appalled. After they didn't say anything after I stared at them for a bit I just decided it wasn't worth it. By this time, my friends food had also gotten cold because they were waiting for me. They had no sense of remorse nor did they have an inkling of customer service. Never ever ever coming back here again! Do not waste your money. Did I mention how sad the sandwich looked? Please take another glance at my meal.

Came in for a after dinner treat, we got the strawberry milkshakes. The self order tablet made the process quick and easy. The shakes were out within a few minutes and we hung out in the dining area to enjoy them. A cool vibe in this spot, it was pretty busy on this Saturday night. The shakes were thick and full of fruit, can't beat that. I'd def come back again.

Shake shack burger is good but it is not big portion and expensive. I think that it is would be amazing if they increase the size of patty and put more food or have a set menu with fries and drinks. The food came out quick. I got the smoke burger which was pretty good but did not fill me up. It had a good kick of spice but not too much and was not too salty. The shroom burger was also good.

Veggie Shack-Cheese Fries shack ShackBurger-and one hot Chocolate Shake.

The food was good. The service was good too. But there were less systems to place the order. Ambiance was great but very crowded.

Sultan: The lamb was stewed for a long time until incredibly tender and melted in your mouth, with absolutely no gamey taste. Although it's called "sweet lamb", it didn't have a strong sweetness; instead, it had a typical mild, complex flavor of onions, cumin, coriander seeds, and other spices. The Yellow Rice was likely seasoned with turmeric and saffron, making it very flavorful. The basmati rice grains were distinct but not too dry, perfect for mixing with the sauce. The White Garlic Sauce wasn't overpowering; it mainly added a touch of acidity, which, along with the cool, sweet corn, helped to cut through the greasiness. Actually, it was completely different from any other Moroccan lamb stew I've had. It was more like Yemeni Mandi, but with more layers of flavor and a more universally appealing taste. As a fusion dish, how can it not be considered a success? This restaurant offered self-build options, but I was rushing to the World Cup Fan Festival and didn't even have time to look at the menu carefully. The staff quickly recommended dishes and adjusted the ingredients based on my preferences. Excellent service.

Boomin' Beef Rendang: This was my first time trying rendang, so I can't comment on its authenticity, but I'm certain it was delicious. It's very similar to a typical Chinese home-style beef brisket stew, just with a subtle touch of coconut milk and curry. The beef was perfectly marbled with fat and lean, stewed until incredibly tender and flavorful; the thick sauce clung to the meat and permeated the rice, making every bite a rich and aromatic experience. The potatoes were soft and tender, and the green beans had a slightly crunchy texture, both perfectly balanced. It's worth mentioning that the meat portion was huge; nearly half-bowl in the picture was completely filled with beef. While it's not anything fancy, it was really satisfying to eat it quickly without worry. With a coupon from a delivery platform, it only cost $10+, making it excellent value. However... Upon entering you go through a rotating door, was thinking- if you have a walker or something would be hard to get through. When inside there was no one to greet us for quite awhile, The woman finally showed up and told another girl to seat us who seemed to have no iedea what was going on so the woman that told her to seat us did it herself. When walking to the table very obvious there was not many people in the restaurant just 2 people. It was around 3 pm with a ton of people outside everywhere walking. A lot of tables inside had leftover plates that people had already eaten from yet not cleaned. Quite a few employees but nobody looking busy, nobody cleaning. The booth we where given as we sat down instantly we saw how dirty the booth and table was. The booth had white stains on the backing and food all over the seat etc. The table had food on it and human hairs. Not head hairs, the pant variety, I am not even joking. If there is ONE rule I have about eating out it is cleanliness, if the booth you are sitting at is dirty, ect, it doesn't give me confidence that the plates they will put the food on will be 100% clean either. regardless to say we got up and left, told the server we were leaving. No food for us. If this was on kitchen nightmares or one of Ramsays shows he would definitely have said something and been irritated/concerned. Being his own restaurant was quite the shock. For how much the food costs, around 20+ a burger youd think the place would be clean. Grossed me out. We ended up going to the original Pizzaria Regina's where we waited in line for about an hour to get a table, Table was very clean, waitresses were spot on and the food was amazing, if anything glad Ramsays was a Sh** show or we would never have gone to Regina's.
