This is definitely a one-of-a-kind restaurant not because it's Raising Cane's lol, but because everything is gold inside. I've had Raising Cane's before and the food is always good, of the Texas toast. Not sure the story behind it but it's pretty cool inside. And this place was packed. We went in around 10:30pm and there were so many people ordering anything inside. We were starving so it definitely hit the spot. Wasn't my first twice as my first meal in Boston, but they were open late near our hotel and ended up being a pretty cool place to check out.

This place is so unique - Everything is gold! This applies to the walls, the decorations, the furniture....and even their food! Their tenders are fried to golden perfection. If anything is missing, its that the tenders have no flavors....thats where their sauce comes in. You dunk it and eat it and its just so satisfying! Their texas toast is not to be slept on! The servers were efficient here in moving large lines through the ordering process. The menus and combo offerings are easy to decipher and choose from. Food comes out quick and fresh. The place looks pretty clean given how much traffic they get in downtown. My only critique would be their fries - It just wasn't hitting like they needed to be. Not bad, just not crisp enough. They also don't offer any BBQ sauce at all - Some people just prefer bbq.

Service is fast and food is good! This location is big but it still gets so busy and the line is insane. There are so many seats but everything is packed! Lots of people leave their mess on their tables which is disappointing. The gold everything is really interesting.

This was our first time at a Canes. Went here for a "Linner" meal. Since both my wife and I wanted a 3 pc meal, so we decided to share the 6pc. It cost a few dollars less. We did have to share the Texas toast and drink, but that's okay. The place was very busy. The atmosphere was a little loud. With so many people, the place was a little messy. Trash cans were overflowing. Chicken was very good. Service was fast. Don't really know if it's better than other chicken places, but we tried it.

Does anyone do chicken fingers better? This location is awesome because it celebrates Cane's 28th "Golden Birthday!" The entire restaurant is gold! Gold fingers anyone??? lol... same great taste, quality food, tasty sauce, fun vibe, and more!

Decided to grab lunch at Raising Cane's in Downtown & put in a mobile order in for 11am. I've never been to this location but I know it is a newer location with pretty gold interior! From the outside, it can be easily spotted, with its gold colored doors. The inside is basically all gold colored, as well, except the menu screens haha. I ordered two chicken finger meal with fries and a drink. I'm a little disappointed with the mobile ordering system, mostly because upon arrival and checking in with the workers regarding our order, they seemed confused and could not give us an estimated time for when our order would be ready. It was a group order with 4 meals and ended up taking an extra 10-15 minutes. Pretty empty at the time we came to pick up. Overall, time it took for them to prepare our order was 40ish minutes, since we ordered around 10:30am. I ended up eating the chicken 2 hrs later and was surprised the chicken wasn't soggy at all. The chicken was still pretty crispy! Pairs great with the Cane's sauce. Parking: Downtown area is kind of an annoying area to find street parking, but if you are able to find a spot, it will likely be meter 2hr parking. Train: accessible via Red/Orange line MBTA & right across the street from Downtown Crossing train station.

Big contest going on right now!

A Lil' History: Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers was founded in 1996, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and named after their dog. For me, like SO many of us, when we 've had a hard day, fried chicken is one of our top 10 comfort foods. Got the blues? Fast food to the rescue! RC Staff: no exaggeration, they provide exceptional service, especially for a fast food restaurant. The staff is smiling, friendly, and welcoming! Food: if your stomach, or your brain, is in search of comfort food, RC's fried chicken fingers will be sure to hit the spot. The box combo is their stand out fave, because crinkle cut french fries are a super sidekick, and French toast bread is... WARM BREAD! (I did take off one star because the fries were soft, and seemed undercooked. Crispy would taste better and hold up longer for left overs.) THE DEAL: Raising Cane's chicken fingers is a welcome addition to Boston's fast food scene!

My first visit to Raising Cane's was a good one. Chicken is definitely their thing and the downtown crossing location was busy and efficient during the lunchtime rush. I had the three finger combo (fries and drink) and it was delicious. Tender juicy chicken fingers with a lightly battered coating made my lunch break enjoyable.

All gold for the 828th Raising Cane's store that opened on August 28 and Raising Cane's was founded in 1996 so it's 28 years old. I love the design and all the gold with memorabilia that is displayed around the store. Service was fantastic and we got our food very fast. You can order at the counter or on an electronic kiosk. Food tasted like the Raising Cane's I have had in California. Great energy and vibe, right in the heart of downtown Boston, across from Macy's.

Great place! We love canes in general and this was just magnificent. This is very unique and a big celebration for their golden birthday.

The new raising canes is really cool. It is entirely golden, with disco balls and great music. It was well worth the visit, with the food being incredible as always and the servers being very friendly. The chicken was the best I've had from canes and I still dream of the Texas toast and canes sauce

Lovely staff, clean interior, great location in Downtown Crossing. Food came out fast and hot. Chicken was a little dry but that's just Cane's.

Wasn't impressed when I saw the self ordering kiosk. Then I couldn't tip because of company policy. So I'll never return!

Ambiance was great! I love how everything was golden. The speaker to announce orders was really really loud though and hurt my ears.

Sultan: The lamb was stewed for a long time until incredibly tender and melted in your mouth, with absolutely no gamey taste. Although it's called "sweet lamb", it didn't have a strong sweetness; instead, it had a typical mild, complex flavor of onions, cumin, coriander seeds, and other spices. The Yellow Rice was likely seasoned with turmeric and saffron, making it very flavorful. The basmati rice grains were distinct but not too dry, perfect for mixing with the sauce. The White Garlic Sauce wasn't overpowering; it mainly added a touch of acidity, which, along with the cool, sweet corn, helped to cut through the greasiness. Actually, it was completely different from any other Moroccan lamb stew I've had. It was more like Yemeni Mandi, but with more layers of flavor and a more universally appealing taste. As a fusion dish, how can it not be considered a success? This restaurant offered self-build options, but I was rushing to the World Cup Fan Festival and didn't even have time to look at the menu carefully. The staff quickly recommended dishes and adjusted the ingredients based on my preferences. Excellent service.

The beef was very soft, the mixed beans side was served cool but also quite good, generous sauces. Quick & friendly service and I think a reasonable price for the portion (1 order ~$15.50 fed two people for lunch). They also had a build-your-own bowl option where you could pick the protein (eg. chicken, tofu, beef, lamb, falafel), sauce (eg. white garlic, spicy harissa, etc), base (eg. couscous, yellow rice, cauliflower), and side (eg. mixed greens, corn, chickpeas).

Boomin' Beef Rendang: This was my first time trying rendang, so I can't comment on its authenticity, but I'm certain it was delicious. It's very similar to a typical Chinese home-style beef brisket stew, just with a subtle touch of coconut milk and curry. The beef was perfectly marbled with fat and lean, stewed until incredibly tender and flavorful; the thick sauce clung to the meat and permeated the rice, making every bite a rich and aromatic experience. The potatoes were soft and tender, and the green beans had a slightly crunchy texture, both perfectly balanced. It's worth mentioning that the meat portion was huge; nearly half-bowl in the picture was completely filled with beef. While it's not anything fancy, it was really satisfying to eat it quickly without worry. With a coupon from a delivery platform, it only cost $10+, making it excellent value. If you don't mind the ambiance, you can pick it up yourself and eat on the bench outside the restaurant.

The supernova shrimp curry came with an abundance of shrimp and had a nice Thai curry sauce with just a slight kick. The spicy chicken karahi had a smoky, tangy flavor, but leaned a bit dry. I wish the chicken bowl included a sauce, as there was a lot of rice and green beans that lacked seasoning.

Nothing to write home about, but adequate. Onion rings were excellent. I've never had rings with whatever they used to fry it in, but it was fantastic. Truffle fries were great, as were the dipping sauces. My daughter liked her burger (she got the Hell's Kitchen Burger, sans avocado), medium rare. She's a tiny thing and usually can't eat an entire burger, but she inhaled the whole thing. The Bad: I am apparently very naive - I thought the vegan burger was something they made in house and was interested to taste the combo of veggies they use. Nope. It was just that over-processed, disgusting Beyond Burger, with terrifyingly oversalted tomatoes and lettuce. I have never looked forward to something and subsequently been so let down. I took it back to the hotel because I saw ducks and thought I'd feed them the bun. Service: was fine. He was sweet and was attentive. Ambiance: fine. It was upscale burger decor. I think I'd recommend going once just for the sake of saying I went to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. But be aware one alcoholic beverage, one non-alcoholic beverage, and two burgers set me back $100 (including tip). I would not go back again though. It was not worth $100. But at least now I know I don't need to visit the Chicago one!
