Not gonna lie, I wasn't looking forward to Shake Shack. I tend to avoid it like the plague because of some of the issues I've had in the past, so when our friends suggested the meet up here, I was not excited. This Shake Shack changed my feelings and we are actually already planning on when we can come back in to have a burger and a shake. Which is saying a lot because my first experience with Shake Shack was in Bryant Park (NYC) decades ago. They served boozy milkshakes at the time and I remember the mixture of ice cream and booze was so wretched to my 20ish year old self that I almost threw up. What a waste of credit card space. Every single time after that has been a nightmare and waste of money and tummy space with severely over salted burgers, soggy buns and sickly sweet shakes. This location has an almost perfect burger. When I say almost, it's because they need to start adding their excellent pickles from the Chicken Shack to the ShackBurger (which is what I did, stole my mans pickles.) I'm dying over the blood orange lemonade. It's quite possibly the best lemonade I've ever had. Perfectly balanced, not too sweet or tart. The service was excellent as well. We got our food fairly quickly and they didn't get confused over the fact there were multiple flags at the table, like some other places. Someone was cleaning the tables pretty fast after being vacated as well. Nice touch! Can't wait to come back and try a shake. High hopes it won't fill me with rage or dread. read more

We came here around 9pm for some late night dinner on a Sunday. It was delicious. I had the chicken bites (very flavorful) with some bbq sauce for dipping. My husband got shake shack burger with cheese fries. He said it was really good and that he was happy with it, the fries came with a dipping sauce that tasted like mushrooms. To me, it had a restaurant quality flavor. I was impressed. They have beer and wine as options to drink as well as a few lemonades, soda, water and obviously shakes. We will come back. Let me start with...I feel like this place is super underrated. This has literally become one of my go to Burger spots! It's easy on the wallet and always delicious. The service is always friendly, helpful and attentive. The eating area is always clean and well kept. I've never seen a dirty table sit dirty for long... The burgers and fries are always delish! Shake Shack is my new favorite fast food burger joint now that we're in Nevada and can no longer just go to the neighborhood In-N-Out in California. The buns are so soft here and everything is super fresh. I love trying the different seasonal drinks and burgers every month. Order at the cashier and then take your number to a table where they will bring you your food. They've got a nice water dispenser and ketchup on the side. Was able to come by for a to-go order to split with a friend. I got the Shroom Burger, only option for a vegetarian but it is my favorite! The patty is a mushroom with cheese and fried, and is all sorts of delicious. We also got a tray of cheese fries to share. The cheese was a bit gooey/solid when we brought it back to the house, but the taste wasn't impacted. In fact, they could have added more cheese to the mix! We walked in and the cashier managed to eek out a smile. The server did not bother with a smile or a "you're welcome". A week ago, we ordered a shake and did not do a review. ORDER THE SHAKE! The shake is 5 Star. The fries were a 3 Star, regular, but good crunchy fry. The hamburger neither had the texture nor the taste of meat. I almost ate half of the burger. We will definitely return for the shake - but don't go for the meat. Dang - I hate to be the two-star guy. 1-star hamburger, 3-star fries, and decent iced tea is not worth $18.00. I'm glad I gave SS another chance! When we were in Vegas last year, the burgers we had were awful. My cheeseburger had the greasy scrapings from the grill. Since it was my first time, I thought that it was the way they serve their burgers. FF to COVID 2020, we were in the area and decided on something quick because we had to return the rental and get to the airport. They only allowed a few customers inside for dining and luckily we met the max. Hubs got the cheeseburger with Provolone and I got a hot dog because I was leery after the last experience. I liked my dog but hubby's burger was delicious. He also got a strawberry milkshake and he swears their milkshakes are the BEST! We decided to come here because the wife has wanted to try this place for a while and they have gluten free buns for the daughter. It was very busy, mostly families. We approached the counter and saw an employee. We figured we were going to give her the order, like we would normally do. Nope! There's a touch screen machine and it's self-service and she is just standing there to assist maybe? Her attitude wasn't the best. Touch screen is somewhat easy to use but it's missing options like no cheese, add mustard, etc. We ordered 2 regular shake shack burgers. Which is a cheeseburger. The got a double with a gluten-free bun. And we ordered these double down fries which was $10. I didn't expect it to be a giant bowl of fries with a ton of bacon, chopped red peppers, and cheese sauce. It was really good but there was way too many red peppers which really didn't have that much flavor. The gentleman that brought everything to the table was very nice and had a great attitude. We also got three regular sized drinks Everything came to $57. That was pretty damn pricey. All in all, the burgers tasted good but could I tell the difference between other burger places in this? This particular location is located in the Green Valley District with access to parking and pedestrian zone. Pretty large store with ample seating space. Bench style seating, and the only thing missing is cleanliness of the table tops. Menu is basic and simple and employees know their menu well. However, food is pretty average perhaps a little below average. Burgers are the highlight and they are decent. Not fantastic or great, just decent. Fries remind me of the ones I used to eat in High School Cafeteria years ago, meaning they are cheap and nothing special. Too pricey for the quality. The hamburgers are good but the prices are ridiculous. For two burgers, two fries and two small sodas and a tip it came to around $47.00. Now, if the food had been exquisite I could understand the price. But that was not the case. The burgers were average- my husband got the one with cherry peppers (double) and I did the one with the meat patty and the portobello mushroom. I have to agree with the other reviews that the mushroom is too tough to bite through which makes it inedible. Perhaps the deep frying of the mushroom is what toughens the skin? A seasoned sauteed slice of a portobello would be amazing adding much more flavor while leaving the mushroom tender and edible. The fries are just plain "make at home in the oven" ore-ida tasting fries. Very plain. Unless you like yours covered in cheese sauce, which I do not. *Vegetarian review* Don't sleep on and discount the only vegetarian option on their menu, their Shroom Burger. I didn't really read the description since there were no other burger options but was surprised to see that it was breaded and then deep fried. The mushroom cap somehow was filled with Muenster and Cheddar Cheese which oozed out with each bite. The burger was then topped off with lettuce, tomato and their ShackSauce. I'm not sure the type of bun they use but it's soft and a little sweet. I like that they didn't skimp on the bun with a traditional burger bun with sesame seeds. Got an order of their crinkle cut fries which were fried perfectly. The right amount of crunch, not burnt, not a soggy fry to be found and a hint of salt. This definitely isn't the cheapest burger spot but I feel that it's worth it as it was better than a lot of "gourmet" burgers that I've had in a fancier chain restaurant. The location that we were at was clean and the staff were friendly. Burgers are truly made to order so it took a little while to get our food but it was worth the wait. Go during the weekday like we did and you'll have no problem finding anywhere to sit even though it was a little after noon. Overall, we would order the shroom burger again. They are constantly cleaning up after someone leaves which is great. Pretty easy to order. Prices are a bit up there for their food but it's a go to spot if you're just wanting burgers. In my opinion, I may have chosen the wrong burger. I wanted something with bacon, but I should've went with my instinct and gotten the shack burger.
