Only thing, my original order cost double that, but it's the thought that counts. This time we dined inside so if they're was a salting issue again we could address it then. The employees were super friendly as always and our food came out hot and fresh and oh so delicious. The buns, are just so pillowy soft. Can you sell me a dozen buns only? lol. Too pricey for the quality. The hamburgers are good but the prices are ridiculous. For two burgers, two fries and two small sodas and a tip it came to around $47.00. Now, if the food had been exquisite I could understand the price. But that was not the case. The burgers were average- my husband got the one with cherry peppers (double) and I did the one with the meat patty and the portobello mushroom. I have to agree with the other reviews that the mushroom is too tough to bite through which makes it inedible. Perhaps the deep frying of the mushroom is what toughens the skin? A seasoned sauteed slice of a portobello would be amazing adding much more flavor while leaving the mushroom tender and edible. The fries are just plain "make at home in the oven" ore-ida tasting fries. Very plain. Unless you like yours covered in cheese sauce, which I do not. I honestly love shake shack, I always get the shroom burger instead of a regular burger because it's different and super good. I like how they started doing the iPad screens for ordering yourself, it's nice to be able to see photos of all the menu items. I ordered a frozen custard this time, in the photo they were just scoops of vanilla but when they brought it to me it was literally mostly melted which was kind of odd. They are constantly cleaning up after someone leaves which is great. Pretty easy to order. Prices are a bit up there for their food but it's a go to spot if you're just wanting burgers. In my opinion, I may have chosen the wrong burger. I wanted something with bacon, but I should've went with my instinct and gotten the shack burger. First off, wow! I really loved the chicken nuggets. I know, I know... chicken nuggets? What's the big deal? The big deal is that the chicken nuggets had the perfect crisp. Almost if you can imagine if you were a kid again and but into snow. It's a soft crunch but a warm soft crunch. The chicken nugget just literally melts into your mouth. The meat is so tender and with the crisp it's snow crisp it's phenomenal. In addition, I had the coconut mango lemonade. For me personally it was too sweet, but if you love sweet this is the drink for you. I almost tasted like a pina colada and you could taste the lemonade. It was very good and complimented my meal. My girlfriend and I arent really big into burgers, but the food offered at this specific spot never disappoint. This time, we ordered the Shack Stack, Chick'n Shack, and a side of fries. The fries are lightly seasoned and fried to golden brown. The fries themselves are crinkle cut with a solid width. So, of you are someone who prefers crispy, skinny fries like the ones at Claim Jumper, these might not be to your liking. For the Chick'n Shack, I thought it was very tasty and savory. As someone who believe Chick Fil A is the best fast food chain, I think the Chick'n Shack is also a solid chicken sandwich. I requestes the herb mayo on the side as it can get really heavy and greasy. The chicken in the sandwich is a very juicy, tender, and thick. Nice thin coat of breading and nicely seasoned. Balanced with the tomato and lettuce, the sandwich is a perfect option to satisfy your chicken sandwich cravings. The Stack Shack is something unique to the Shake Shack chain. The sandwich closely resembles the savoriness and taste of the double double from In-N-Out, but it has a thick fried mushrooms layer. The savory and greasy bite meets the mushroom which has a crispy fried skin and a buttery soft inside. The only downside to this burger is that it does get very greasy and heavy after a few bites. Placed a mobile order and arrived to a sign that pointed down the sidewalk. I thought there was an outside window like other locations. Thats not the case. Just go inside. I'm not sure why that sign is even out there. Arrived at 325 for a 330 pickup. Told the cashier I'm checking in and he said it'll be about 5 more minutes. Perfectly fine! I received a text at 330 saying "your order is almost ready. Proceed to counter... ." Odd thing is i just checked in and on previous occasions i received a more specific text saying "your order is ready. Pick up now." I waited around until 336 and then just decided to ask again because it was clear the second text wasn't coming and they had 4 other orders bagged up. Low and behold my food had been sitting around all that time and not even under a warmer. Why he didn't bother to say something is beyond me. I was sitting right in front of the counter. The cheese was congealed for the fries and bacon was warm and no fork in sight to scoop the cheese out the plastic ramekin. The Slapshot burger was fine, but the provolone was chewy which is normal. I wish the mobile app had more options to sub for American or Cheddar. Small issues, but at these prices itd be appreciated if they were a bit more proactive and also clear in their text messages. Stopped by here after a trip to Hoover Dam and ordered the cheese fries (3.99) and shroom burger (7.29). I ordered them to go so they packed the cheese in a small cup separately from the fries. As a result, I was disappointed that the amount of cheese was very small. I recommend ordering for dine-in because it seems like they pour more cheese over the fries. The fries were delicious with a crispy exterior and soft texture. The cheese sauce was very flavorful and tastes like what you'd want in nacho cheese. The shroom burger has a fried portobello mushroom filled with melted cheeses and topped with lettuce, tomato, and onion. You can request the veggies to be on the side, which I did. The burger was delicious and chocked full of flavor from the melted cheese in the middle. The fried mushroom didn't have a mushroomy taste, but rather thin and crispy like bacon. This was my second time eating a shack burger and I must say that this time around the burger tasted soooo much better. Not sure whether if it was the crispy edges of the burger or the soft bun or shack sauce or a combination of everything that made it worth every bite. We ordered take out as they are only taking online and phone orders. Pick up was really simple and easy. Once your order is ready they'll text you to let you it's ready. My boyfriend just walked up to the table set up outside the front doors and handed him our order, it was that easy! And most importantly the employees were wearing a mask. Also, since when did shake shack have chicken bites?! These chicken bites are soooo juicy and tasty. Im salivating as I write this lol. We finished all of these before we dug in to our burger. They were probably one of the best chicken bites/nuggets I've had in a while. Goes great with the shack sauce! I happened to be in the neighborhood so I decided to swing into Shake Shack to get my burger fix on. This location is clean, has convenient parking, and lots of seating. They also have a broken foosball table (just a couple of handles left) that drew in the noisy kids while I was eating. I will be honest, I misread the menu. I ordered the 'shroom burger with an extra patty thinking it was a mushroom-swiss burger. What came out was the most glorious non-meat burger I have ever eaten. It was two sensuously fried cheese filled portobello mushrooms. I am salivating thinking about them. The crinkle cut fries were cooked to perfection and were just kissed with a hint of salt. So I wanted to give Shake Shack another chance since I hear my friends raving about it all the time. I hated it when we went to the location at New York New York casino because it was just so oily and it was so crowded. I had a completely different experience here. Located at the District at Green Valley Ranch, it sits at the corner right across from REI. The bf, myself and my son came in for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon and it was not busy at all. There was lots of seating, but the dining area is a little small. I can see this place packed on weekends. The restaurant was clean, employees were friendly and our food came out fairly quickly. Here's the rundown on the food. I was expecting a greasy mess like last time, but not here. I ordered the Chick'n Shack and the bf ordered the double burger. My chicken was fresh, hot and crispy. The pickles in my burger were nice and thick, not the flimsy pickles at other places. I took a bite of my bf's burger and it was equally as tasty. The meat wasn't oily at all. The buns for these burgers were so soft. Our fries had the perfect crunch and even drenched in cheese, they were still good. I just wish the burgers were a little bigger. I unwrapped my burger and my first response was "that's it?" Don't get me wrong, my food was pretty tasty, but I just wish there was more of it. Especially for the price, $27 for 2 small burgers, fries and a small drink is a bit steep. I'm glad this location changed my mind about Shake Shack. They do have good burgers and fries. We have been to this location several times since it opened. This is the only location that we have been to so I cannot speak whether it is different at other locations. First time we went here we were fairly happy with the place. The food was never great but not horrible either. Our first impressions was decent food that is very over priced. Today we picked up food from there for lunch. I used the app, which works pretty good. I receive a text message that the food is ready so I go to the front and they say it is not ready. This already puts me off cause I spend more than 5 minutes waiting outside cause they messaged me too early. They put all the items in a large bag, which they seal shut. Now I am already in a bad mood cause they took way too long making the meal and now they sealed our shake in a warm bag with burgers and fries. Seriously, how dumb to you have to be to put a shake in a warm bag. When getting back to the car we open the bag and the shake is already completely melted and barely cold. The burgers were horrible, way over cooked and so dry. We should have just got fast food, which would have been a much better burger. For our son we got the grilled cheese. What a joke. It was just one small slice of toast folded over with some cheese. Not even two slices of bread and did not taste good so it was all wasted. Overall, I would say that this is the last time we will be spending money at Shake Shack. Very disappointed and will not be recommending this place to anyone and will probably just tell people to stay clear. We have already deleted the app and will move on. 3.5 Stars! This Shake Shack location is hit or miss in my opinion; sometimes it's a solid 4 as rated, but frequently, due to inadequate service, it's more around a 2.5-3. With its prime District location, it can get busy around lunch and I personally think they are rarely staffed appropriately to handle the demand. The counter staff seems a little disengaged and the ordering process can be tedious. The food is generally consistent and always good. My personal favorite is the seasonal spicy chicken, if only it could be a standard menu item! Spicing batter and slaw shouldn't be that much of a permanent menu tweak as they have the regular crispy chicken on the everyday menu. The cheese fries are beyond reproach and live up to their reputation; I'm not even a "nacho cheese" sauce person and I love theirs. I also have to say, similar to the rest of the (generally) apathetic/mediocre service, the shuffleboard is very poorly maintained. It's a bummer to have such a fun, unique feature but have it nearly unusable almost all the time. It's also slightly a pet peeve of mine that they waste a new cup for every drink refill (and don't have recycling disposal); the one I was given when I got my meal 10 mins ago is fine. Tonite I tried something new and got the "Smoke Shack" (cheese and bacon and yummy Shack Sauce) Fries, (Legit Crinkle Fries) and the 50/50 (Arnold Palmer) The new burger was terrific. One of my favorite aspects of Shake Shack is that everything is made fresh when you order it, and it is apparent. They also have hot dogs, like my fave, the Shack-Cago Dog, and of course Shakes!!! Oh boy, they just announced Nov.12-Jan.5 THREE NEW HOLIDAY FESTIVE SPECIAL SHAKES!!!!!! Coconut Snowball: Coconut and marshmallow frozen custard, topped with whipped cream, coconut and sprinkles. Christmas Cookie (Shack fan favorite!): Sugar cookie frozen custard, topped with whipped cream, crumbled shortbread and holiday sprinkles. Chocolate Peppermint: Chocolate frozen custard and peppermint fudge sauce, topped with whipped cream and chocolate peppermint bark. They also have chicken sandwiches and chicken hotdogs!!!! And an App you can order stuff from your phone even! I also appreciate the fact that they are one of the few national chains to be actually cognizant of sometimes people DO care about where their meat or chicken or vegetables come from. They also are proactive about their commitment to being conscious about their effect on the environment, and use a lot of recycled materials like with their tables. They have a motto too, "Stand for something good." Which I appreciate. I like that they're thinking on more of a "big picture" level. Tonite another thing I noticed as I was receiving my order, this place is ALWAYS clean. I looked in the back at the cooks area, and it was clean! Swept up, everything in its place. It sure what the hype is about. Been wanting to try this brand for a while based off what everyone in Vegas tells me. Came here a couple days ago and decided to go with the top recommendations. There wasn't hardly a wait at all here. It was around 8:30 at night and the dining room was empty. Maybe a couple of people finishing up. Went ahead and ordered the shack attack. It's basically a burger with a breaded mushroom studded with cheese then fried and put in the middle. Sounds amazing right? I thought so too. When i got the burger i asked where the meat patty was. The young girl said it was there. I lifted the mushroom and low and behold a small little party was there. I cut the burger in half and yes this magnificent golden river of melted cheese began to erupt. Overall the burger was good. My gripe is that for almost $10 it should have had a little more flavor and yes... a little more in general. I was still way hungry. The bun and meat patty were the size of a cheeseburger from the Golden Arches place. 3/5 Decided to try the double down fries.... frozen fries covered in a nacho cheese sauce and some bacon bits on top... $9... yeah... no. 2/5 Overall it was a clean place and the staff was friendly. Shake Shack has always been one of the "occasional cravings" I forget I have until I see it available to me on the side of the road. Driving through Las Vegas, I caught sight of the familiar logo and squealed with delight. You can never go wrong with a chick'n shack or the shack-cago dog. I wish the fries were better, I always get them but they never seem to hit the spot. Occasionally a little cold and mushy--but I feel like that's the brand of fry, the thick crinkle cut-type. If you get a change to have their frozen hot chocolate, DO IT. So delicious! Complete with little chunks of chocolate that fit perfect through the straw, it was a delicious ending to top off my meal. My wife and I decided we were craving some burgers and cheese fries so we decided to go to Shake Shack. A good amount of food on the menu. I decided to try the their limited time burger- the black truffle burger. I also tried their chicken shack (just to compare it to other chicken sandwiches). My wife on the other hand, had the shack stack which has a burger patty and the shroom burger (mushroom stuffed with cheese). We also had an order of cheese fries and a Cran Citrus Punch drink. The Black Truffle burger was okay. You can definitely taste the truffle and the Gruyère cheese. But honestly, I would've preferred a regular burger just because the Black Truffle Burger did not taste any special. Usually if you advertise or have a limited menu item that item should blow you away. I would steer you to pass on this. The chicken shack was just okay. I honestly would rather have gotten the chicken sandwich from Popeyes. The chicken shack was decent tasting but when you factor in the price, it's definitely not worth it. Dare I say, I think the McDonald's McChicken sandwich is better tasting and a better bang for your buck. There was just nothing special about the chicken sandwich. The shack stack is our go to burger here. It is something we always order. It is a combination of their shack burger with their shroom burger. For some reason that mix of mushroom, melted cheese, and burger patty is so good. I also have to just add their bun for their burgers probably my favorite from any burger joint. If you haven't heard about Shake Shack, they're a very popular chain that's grown from a humble New York City park kiosk to, by my count, 75 locations spanning the United States and even more overseas. The Henderson restaurant is located at the edge of the main portion of The District at Green Valley Ranch, with a corner location that is very easily sighted if you're entering from Green Valley Parkway. Expect to have a decent walk from eligible parking spots, unless you're cheating via one of the designated areas for nearby offices... Today was only my second time ever going to a Shake Shack, and I was surprised that there wasn't more of a line for their grand opening. Although the details aren't publicized, they seem to have free goodies for the first 100 people, including dessert and Shake Shack-branded (cheap) sunglasses. The ordering line was still a bit slow for how many people there were due to training, but I'm sure they'll pick up the pace soon enough. They do offer an app on iOS and (very recently on) Android if you wish to place your order half an hour or more ahead, then walk directly to the pick-up area at the arranged time. Otherwise, you should probably expect a line as word emerges that they've opened here, and don't be surprised if you have to wait outside in the heat because the indoor designated waiting area is rather small compared to a location like the one on the Las Vegas Strip. If it wasn't obvious by the calorie counts on the menu replete with a variety of burgers, hot dogs, fries, desserts, and drinks (including beer and wine), the meals here can get quite filling. I didn't expect the complimentary single-size Pie Oh My ($4.65 normally), but it was a fun concrete with pretty good peach pie and vanilla custard. The only concern is that it melts while you're trying to eat everything else, so you'd be better off ordering it again afterward. I did have to polish off dessert first, lest it turn into dessert soup, but the rest of the meal was delicious. The Double SmokeShack ($9.69) was thoroughly enjoyable from the meaty Angus patties through to the potato bun, with the chopped cherry peppers packing a more restrained punch than the more commonplace jalapeño and the Niman Ranch bacon and ShackSauce filling out the rest of the flavor. I did have a concern about the meat not being cooked to medium (the only other option available aside from well done), but I'll let it go because the cashier was clearly still in training. Next time though, I'll double-check my receipt. The Fries ($2.99) are quite tasty as well. They're crinkle cut and properly seasoned, and they're fried to a golden brown crisp while still being fluffy inside. They're fine alone or with ketchup. I found myself sorely lacking them during my first trip to a Shake Shack, and they're vital to a burger experience. Split an order with a friend if you want to make the calorie hit a bit easier. The dining room was pretty spacious but can get crowded. They also have two television sets currently, as well as a shuffleboard table and a foosball table. I doubt that they'll add darts to complete the collection, but those games should at least be fun diversions for the kids, who were the only ones playing while I was there. I enjoy Shake Shack a lot, although I don't quite _love_ love them to that 5-star extreme yet. They offer fast service but are certainly at least a tier up from any "fast food" places. That said, they also come at significantly higher costs (note: all Shake Shack locations that I've looked up are priced surprisingly similarly) that make me start to compare them to local burger joints as well, not just the obvious competitor chains. That said, they're definitely very good based on this meal alone, so I'll likely revisit them more often now that I don't have to make a trek to Summerlin or deal with the crowds and paid parking of the Strip. read more

Never fully understood the appeal, wife likes it. Overall decent food, just not into the small portions. It's a hamburger joint, expected a little more. read more
