Food was very good, but the reason for 3 stars is for 2 reasons. 1) 2 nights in a row, I go at 9:25 to find you closed . Yelp shows your open until 10 pm & google also shows that, so please adjust your time so no one else wastes gas to find your closed ! So I went to the Eastern store & asked if horizon ridge closed their store down bc 2 nights in a row they were closed b4 9:30 pm & was told they close at 9. I said the website shows 10 pm. I then ask if they would honor the coupon I had for horizon store of bogo tacos & she said no we can't . I said isn't it the same owners, & she said well it's in the same family, but 1 brother owns this one & another brother owns the other one. Sounds a little weird to me that 2 brothers would open seperate stores , but bottom line was she would not accept my coupon which was disappointing, as their prices are very high for fast food. You're not a restaurant , your fast food!!! 2) since when does fast workers out a tip jar on the counter? Why should we tip for them doing their job?? Your prices are already so high , & now made to feel guilty & cheap if we don't tip...why do that to your customers? Total turnoff for me ...if you can't afford to pay your workers a decent living wage, then maybe they need to go find a better paying job instead of making us feel cheap when we can't tip! It's all we can do to afford to eat out, now expect a tip? Don't nickel & dime your customers...pay them an affordable rate so you don't look cheap as an employer & quit making us feel guilty bc that's a deal breaker for me & will stop going for that reason ! My favorite taco place down the street! This place is our go to for burritos and tacos! My favorite burrito is the smackdown!!!! The carne asada, shrimp, and fries with that chipotle sauce!! The best! I can't even finish this due to how heavy it is. I do end up finishing it at end of day. We also love the carne asada burrito and surf/turf! They do not go cheap with the ingredients. Two people can definitely share these burritos but if you really like it, I wouldn't share. lol. I have yet to try the birria pizza! I'm looking forward to try that. Delicious Mexican food. My son and I stopped in after his haircut at the barber shop next door. He got the Carne Asada burrito and I got a Carne Asada bowl. The food was delicious and came out rather quick. I live in the southwest/ Durango 215 area and wish something like this was in that area. They have healthier options too and Birria options. Taco Man Grill still a good spot for Taco Tuesday's great deals. Delicious Food. Friendly staff always and dining room kept clean. I like their "New Items" menu and their "Kids Menu". Love the candy cane trees that are the centerpieces for some of the tables. Stopped in on my lunch hour. I had one of the new items - the 2 Enchiladas Verdes R&B - your choice of Beef or Chicken topped with Salsa Verde, melted cheese and sour cream. The presentation was great, food fresh and the taste of the beef enchiladas were great too! The verde sauce was full of flavor. It was a bit on the spicy side for me but something about this dish kept me eating even though and sweating a bit. LOL. The rice and beans were good and the tortilla chip was a nice touch. This place didn't disappoint at all. Walking in it was super clean and inviting. The people behind the counter greeted us warmly and let us know that it would be a few minutes. No problem at all. We used that time to pursue the menu and make sure that there was nothing else on the menu that was more appealing. The menu had plenty of tasty options, but we were on a mission. The Eastern location is amazing. This one needs to get it together. Very nice aesthetic inside, I had very high hopes as it's just a bit closer than the other location. I asked literally 3 separate times to make sure my order was going to be correct and it wasn't. I was reassured all 3 times it would be even after showing the receipt. There was no other customer in the building other than myself and I am fluent in both Spanish and English. Eastern is another 5-7 minutes down the road. I'll be heading there next time instead of wasting my time here. Sad because this is a little bit closer and I love the local franchise.
