Shack shack at Lehigh valley mall is placed in a visible location. The tricky part is having to go through the maze of mall parking lot trails to get there. First, the order is placed through these three computers against the left wall. You have to read the menu that's displayed above them. It does not contain all the things in their menu. Some other things are found by reading the advertisements all over the store. The quality of the food we had was very good. I had that spicy burger, and it was fantastic. The spicy fries are also good. I can definitely confirm that the vanilla milkshake is better than the cookies and cream. Expect to pay about $10 per, six dollars per milkshake, and about five dollars for a small order of fries. The fries by the way, also come in one general size. I will probably eat at a shake shack again. I ate at this one because it was on the way to a skiing resort nearby. read more

My girlfriend got me going to this place, which she's liked since their original NYC location. I have no serious complaints. In fact, I'm really glad they have a vegetarian option (the "Veggie Shack"). Since my GF eats meat, finding a place where we can both get impromptu/quick meals while on the go is helpful. Sometimes the veggie patty is fried more or less well (I prefer more), and there's no space to specify preference in the ordering kiosk, and sometimes the sandwich is assembled better or worse, depending on location and staffing... but this is typical for fast food, and I can't say I've had a complaint-worthy experience yet. They have fantastic fries! Fries have never (so far) been a disappointment at any of the several locations where I've gotten them. My only complaint, and specifically for this location, over two consecutive days, is the loud music. This is my complaint at most places, but my GF and I preferred the outside seating, in the humidity (which she hates!!), next to a busy highway intersection, over the loud music inside. I've never had any complaints about the service. I expect the employees aren't granted a living wage, so I don't expect a sunny disposition. Still, it's been fine. At the Southern California locations, the workers seemed more upbeat than here in the Lehigh Valley, but that seems to be the case with most workers in most places when comparing the coasts. I went because my friends wanted to. Again there are lots of hamburger places to choose from. The burgers here are decent. Yet at the pricing, I can't say that I'm thrilled. Ok, let me start off by saying the burger was phenomenal. I got the bourbon bacon cheddar. The bourbon jam was *chefs kiss* The fries weren't bad. Pretty bland. Nothing salt and ketchup couldn't fix. I also got a strawberry lemonade that I took home and threw a bit of vodka in it. So why the rating so low if the food was good. I took my food home, opened the bag and was shocked at the amount of fries and the size of the burger. Listen, I don't need an ungodly amount of food to make me happy. I believe quality over quantity is more important. But I spent $13 for a cup of fries, and a burger smaller than my palm. The drink was worth $4. Shake shack is not a gourmet restaurant. I believe it's categorized at fast food. So when I pay almost $15 for a burger and fries, I hope to get my moneys worth. It was pretty unsatisfactory and frustrating. I was pretty excited when I found out that a Shake Shack was opening at the Lehigh Valley Mall. We finally got to go and try it out and we were pretty impressed. Shake Shack is known for their burgers shakes. Sadly we did not try the shakes, but that is to be expected when it's 10 degrees outside. The burger was pretty tasty, the most similar is 5 Guys, in taste, but Shake Shack has toppings like avocado, so it's a little higher class. They also have chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, and craft lemonades one the menu. They also have a beer and wine section on the menu, but it says coming soon. It's a very modern and trendy decor on the inside. They also offer self order kiosks and a pickup window if you order via the app. I really enjoyed my burger and lemonade, the cheese fries were only okay, I don't think they travel well on takeout orders. It was a bit on the pricey side, but not too bad. The place was a bit hectic and frantic but that is to be expected at any new restaurant in the valley. No matter what location you go to, the food is the bomb. I always look for this franchise whenever I'm in a different area and of course buy multiples to take home and enjoy, and always with a few extra cups of the sauce. That stuff is crack. The burgers are always seasoned and cooked well, with just the right amount of crispy edges. The lettuce and bun always fresh, and the sauce is utterly delicious and addictive. Don't skip the fries just because they're frozen, they work magic on frozen fries and dipped in that sauce is just heaven. Could this or any location be cleaner? Have friendlier staff? Less of a wait? Sure, but the food is constantly good and I'd gladly sacrafice service for that. read more

Every time I go to a Shake Shack, I wonder why I keep coming back. The burgers are lackluster, the fries are average at best, and the prices are pretty high for what you are getting. I got the typical burger, and it was a rather small sandwich without much on it. The lettuce/tomato/onion and condiments were hardly complimenting the flavorless beef patty. The crinkle fries are hilariously low quality. The only upside here was that the service was very friendly, and the folks cleaning up the tables were attentive. Smash Burger and Five Guys are way better. You know...I think I confused this Shake Shack with a Smashburger... So disappointing. Next time I'll just go to White Castle down the road. read more

I am very familiar with Shake Shack's menu - I've often stopped in to many of the Philly/Ardmore/KOP Shake Shacks - so I was expecting another great fast food experience. Did.Not.Happen. Don't bother trying the LVMall franchise - I called and paid ahead and picked up my food at the window. Had to wait additional 10 minutes at the window and assumed the food was just being cooked but....no. Fries were actually cold, my chicken sandwich had old soggy greens on it and it was one big fat disappointment. Tried this place for the first time today. I was expecting it to be a little more like Steak n Shake where you sit and get served. This is a McDonalds style place where you order at the counter. All fine and good but we ordered two burgers a 10 piece nugget and two drinks at the price of $38 and you don't even have a drink machine for refills. The burgers were about the size of a Whopper Jr. quite small for the price. The taste was descent but I could have eaten three of these burgers. Great food. Although expensive you pay for what you get. All products are Organic and for the most part locally sourced as able. They also make their frozen custard in house and it is to die for. Fries aren't overly greasy; I am not a fan of crinkle fries but these are good. So I asked for a Dr Pepper instead bc there was no way I paid $5 and had no drink. THE DR PEPPER WAS HALF DR PEPPER HALF WATER ! Anyone who drinks Dr Pepper KNOWS it has "that bite" . Nothing . It's been a couple months since I have been to Shake Shack at the LV Mall. The last 2 times I sat at the drive up window for 10 mins behind a car who got to the window way early. The servers should be trained to tell the customer to park and wait for their time and or go around and not hold everyone up. By the time I got home the food was cold and my kids hated the fries. The burger was delicious, probably in my top five burgers of all times. The burger was super moist and the potato bun was perfect. I'm not going to sugar coat the fries though, they were not that great, but I still ate them. I was hoping they would be more hot and crispy but that is probably hard for that style of fry...
