This location was packed with people, there is hardly enough tables for the amount of customers they haves. They have a very basic selection of burgers. They fail to tell you the burgers don't come as the menu states, you have to ask for all the condiments or you will get a patti inside two buns. I found the ingredients to be substandard, the veggies were limp and the lettuce was wilted(not from heat). I think the burgers at Burger 21 and Five guys are much more flavorful and fresh. As small as the indoor sitting area was, I did not like that they keep cleaning the trash bin in the middle of people eating. She came but and cleaned it out twice in the 30-40mins we were sitting there. I know it was to maintain the trash in control but it was literally right next to the tables. I walked in expecting something along the lines of a "Steak and Shake" burger and what I got was nothing short of all so many good emotions....mmmmm the taste, mmmmm the juice, mmmmm the crispy edges. It was better than I expected. For my 1st Shake Shack visit I got a double shack burger. My party of 3 shared 2 orders of fries and this was a perfect ratio. Back to the star of the party, the Double Shack burger. It was two big pieces of delicious cooked well patties with perfectly cooked crispy edges. The patty was juicy NOT GREASY. The combo of meat with shack sauce was a perfectly different taste. The bun was the crowning piece to this juicy piece of meat. It is soft and holds it's own against all the juice these burgers have. My husband got the chicken sandwich. It was a beautiful piece of breaded chicken breast. It wasn't dry, but wasn't juicy either. He said it didn't have any flavor. Was questionable going into this location considering the mixed reviews, but finally decided to visit since it's located at the Florida Mall and close to where I live. The cashiers were friendly and we were greeted the moment we walked in. The cashier introduced their new item on the menu and if you didn't already know, shake shack has introduced their new hot chicken sandwich (more on that later). The restaurant was clean and the ordering/pick up process was fast and easy so no complaints there and was given the option for free refills while we were dining. Attentive and friendly staff! So about that hot chicken though... I walked in with mediocre expectations. Shake shack makes great burgers. I assumed it would be at least okay. I knew it wouldn't be horrible. On the first two bites it tasted similar to the spicy chicken sandwich from chick fil a but after a couple more bites I noticed the difference in flavor that was almost smoky-ish like paprika or something and the chicken is insanely juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. All the components of the burger--down to its perfectly cooked patty, potato bun, simple toppings, and signature ShackSauce--melt in your mouth. It's a delight to have this Burger Chain in the Mall. The place is quite clean including the restroom. The service is average. It would be great if the person behind the cash register will greet the customers with a smile. I ordered the Shack Burger. It taste good! But the meat is so thin. Mc Donald's Burger is even thicker. They flattened the meat so it can be seen outside the bun and it will look big! With that, I think their burger is expensive! While I can get better at 5 guys Burger with the same price! Maybe I am also paying for the ambiance...the ambiance is nice ! Still, I will recommend friends to at least try. It really is all about the chicken sandwich. The fries are usually good and so is the chicken hotdog. This is a burger place that is a must try for all. The restaurant is a fast food sit down style place. You order at the door and wait for the pager to go off. I visited on a day they weren't extremely busy but had a steady flow of guest. I ordered the shack double it came complete with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and shack sauce which is a spicy mayonnaise. I ordered fries and a drink. The food didn't take long it came out as ordered and tasted delicious. The fries are crinkle cut which are one of my favs. At the mall drop in here you won't be disappointed the food is probably better than what you may find in the food court. read more

Great food but the staff is horrible. They mess up orders most of the time, and the wait time is unnecessarily long. If you need to be somewhere, don't stop here unless you have a good 45 minutes to spare. My husband and I come down to Orlando from Jacksonville to shop at Florida Mall a few times a year. We have been to other Shake Shacks around the country such as the ones in NYC and other areas. This one is by farrrrr the worse location we have been to, and we have given them a couple tries. If I were the GM of this place I would fire everybody and start over. Yes they are busy but the staff here is horrendous you get a good burger but will receive Mcdonalds type service. This was my first time trying Shake Shack and I was so excited because I've heard so much about it! I'm vegetarian so I tried the mushroom burger and it was amazing! It's mushroom with cheese, coated in bread crumbs and fried. I also found out they have a Beat Burger that was wasn't listed on their menu, but I def wanna try it next time I'm in the U.S. ! To be honest, the burgers are a bit smaller than I was expecting, so beware of that. It's kind of frustrating because it is expensive fast food, but it freshly made. The fries are very dry, which I find tends to be the norm when you order crinkle cut fries. But overall, it was pretty good especially how they had veggie burgers that were not fake beef because not all vegetarians want to eat fake meat, so in that sense, I'd definitely go back again (and try out some desserts!) read more

This was the best burger I've ever had. I got the Shack Stack. It's a cheeseburger with a crispy, cheese filled portobello mushroom cap. The bacon cheese fries were perfectly crispy and flavorful. Service was good: the lady cleaning the eating area repeatedly refilled our soft drinks (why are the sodas not self-serve as they are at most other fast restaurants these days?) My salted caramel shake was ok, with rather mild flavor (and they charge extra for whipped cream on it!) Cons: the crinkle fries looked like they were straight from an Ore-Ida bag, and were barely crispy. The optional cheese sauce was a half step up from the standard 'nacho cheese sauce' which is put on the cheapest of snacks at most ballparks. I have been to this Shake shack multiple times at other locations and have often had good experiences with my food, however, today I I did not have a good experience. I ordered the Shake Shack burger. First, the patty was super thin it felt like I was eating a steak burger. The tomato was soggy and felt and tasted as if it had been microwaved. The entire burger was incredibly greasy. Then, i ordered fries. The fries here are usually nice and crispy, but today, they were SO GREASY. The customer service was great, but nothing could save the burger I had. The worst part is that this meal was $11! That's a lot of money for a soggy burger with greasy fries.
