I thought it was great in taste but the burgers are surprisingly really tiny for what you're paying for. ShackBurger 4/5 - Made with Angus beef, lettuce, tomato and Shacksauce on a potato bun. It was quite tasty but very small - like the size of my small palm. SmokeShack 4/5 - Angus beef cheeseburger with applewood-smoked bacon, shopped cherry peppers, and shack sauce. Tasty! Overall, I thought the food was good and service was good. But I just can't get over how small the burgers itself were - didn't really feel like it was worth it at all.

We ordered three Shack Stacks and two orders of fries. The burgers were pretty good, but I was expecting them to be better for some reason. They are very similar to Burger's Priest, and I believe that Burger's Priest copied their menu. Comparing them to Burger's Priest, I would have to say that Burger's Priest is a bit better than Shake Shack. The fries at Shake Shack are frozen crinkle cut fries, but that is what they are known for. The prices for the burgers, and especially the fries, are very high for what you get, however it is Shack Shack. Would I return? Probably not because for this price point, there are a lot of other options to choose and other "local" burger places.

What I opened up was a flaccid, soggy burger that was absolutely DROWNED in their "burger sauce" which tasted like a whole lot of pickle brine mixed with some mayo, ketchup and mustard. At first I had thought the goop was all the melted cheese, but no, the overwhelming flavour of their vinegary burger sauce was all I could taste. There was almost no discernible char on either patty, and it tasted like a steamed burger patty. What a colossal waste of calories and beef. As for the service, there were 4 people behind the counter, but as far as I could see, it was the quiet guy and lady that were doing most of the work.
