Came here for my nephews birthday, great service and the food was so so delicious!! The chicken was juicy and mojo's were crunchy

I tried the new item for (1) called PCM which includes a small pizza, mojo potatoes and two crispy pieces of fried chicken for $14.00. When I say delicious. To start off, Dawn and well honestly, ALL staff is super friendly. The establishment is well taken care of and clean. The food is really good, my favorite is the grilled chicken and mashed potatoes. I tried the meatballs today, which they just added to the menu. They were delicious! I travel to San Diego from Riverside for work. Every week I stop by for the bunch of lunch because not only is it great tasting food but it makes it much more enjoyable with the friendly and welcoming staff. I look forward to bringing my kids to eat there soon. The drive is by far worth it! read more

My husband and i ate here today and met the sweetest GM (i didn't get her name) walking up to every table and checking in on them. The food was delicious but the employees all were genuinely so nice! I haven't been here in years but i wil for sure be coming back! read more

Large restaurant, very clean and welcoming. Did not have time to eat in so got takeout. Ordered a large Works pizza. Carefully carried it home and opened box. Most of the toppings were piled in the middle of the pizza like they were just dumped there. I scattered them around so each slice had some. I've never had a pizza where the topping was loose and rolled off the slice as you tried to take a bite. We each took 3 small slices. They were not enjoyable at all and didn't even finish them. Had no desire to have any more so rest of pizza went into garbage and we ate grilled cheese sandwiches instead. We used to love Shakeys and frequented them often. The 2 stars are only for the restaurant, counter person, and fond memories of good times and pizza of the past. read more

We made a reservation for a large party to celebrate my son's birthday over the summer. Being on a Saturday during the lunch rush we were a little nervous that it might be crazy but we had a large table reserved and ready upon our arrival and the staff was amazing and attentive. They continuously cleaned up after us as we went back and forth to the buffet and made sure we had everything we needed. We were even able to bring in our own birthday cake without any issues. The kids had a great time, we enjoyed the food and the arcade. It was easy and an enjoyable time for everyone! read more

We went to one in corona and everything was so good so we decided to come to this one. The service with the cashier was just bad then talking to the manager was no help whatsoever. While walking to my table I almost fell because of the rug they have not placed currently and no one offered any help. I rather drive further out than come to this one. Was in the area to meet a friend and we decided to go here. Not sure why but it worked for us. She ordered a pizza and was surprised at how good it tasted. I ordered the mojo potatoes and they are still the same - crispy and seasoned just right. All of the employees were friendly and helpful, which is something you don't see at many places. read more

I had to clean a table myself and they didn't have ketchup bottles so they hand out small ketchup packets. I love rice and it was 104pm they ran out and didn't bother to make more. Poor management thats all it is. read more

Shakeys is always a good time . The first time we're at this location and we brought our soccer team after the game . The staff was very friendly and helpful . When a large group left , two employees were quick to clean and get the table ready for us . They were very attentive as well during our meal . Thank You. We're on a road trip. We search along route and find a Shakey's! We had not been to one in a very long time. So we decide to take chance. We both decided on the buffet. This has got to be one of the cleanest pizza place we have ever visited. The pizza was great and the chicken was very tasty! What a great experience. Also the manager and the young lady who cleans tables (this gal is constantly in motion) were absolutely awesome. Friendly and professional! Oh my goodness. I wanted it to be great. I was hoping that the memories of my high school. I was so so very disappointed. It all started when we walked in. Wait wait let me start over. It was a Sunday. Very busy. Soccer games. Kids all over. I do not have a problem with kids being at a restaurant. But this place was crazy! Extremely busy. And you can tell there was lack of management. No one was in charge. Not one person. It was disappointing. The lack of direction I think lead to my very disappointing experience. The customer service was not very good. The cashier was so hard to hear and understand. The place was a mess. It took forever for us to get our food. And the food was not good. It sat up in the window waiting to be brought to our table for over 10 mins. It died in that window. Unfortunately I had to rate it very low. I think that the management needs to take a hard look at their coverage and work on it. Sorry guys ;( read more

The food is decent but for the price it's not worth it. The vibe is boomer-chic and theres a whole encampment of unhoused people out front of the restaurant that are literally on the opposite side of the window. So while you're eating your food, you can feel like shit eating a 40 dollar pizza in front of people who cant have their basic needs met. Update: an unhoused person asked me for money when I was leaving and tried to stab me when I told him no. read more

I have to say they have Marlene and she is a HUGE asset to this pizza shop. She was so helpful and so tentative in cleaning up after our and all the tables in this shop and super nice to everyone. We had plates accumulating and she made sure to take them away so we had space on our tables. Wow she's is by far AMAZING!! Oh man! Shakey's was a staple of my childhood. I'm in Stockton and we lost our Shakeys more than 20 years ago because apparently this town sucks and can't keep good things. We were down in SoCal and it hit me SHAKEY's. I wonder if Shakey's is down here. Hopped into my little Yelp ap and sure enough BAMN- 13 miles away. We gotta go I told my husband and so we did Now- growing up I remember the mojo potatoes. And everyone that'll listen to me about these potatoes KNOWS that they're bomb because I've waisted all of their time telling them about them lol. My dad loved the Taco Pizza which is didn't see on the menu but saw in the buffet area. We moved too slow to make it to the buffet so I ordered Broasted Chicken, Mojo Potatoes and a small pepperoni pizza (or was it salami). Y'all- DO NOT SLEEP ON THAT CHICKEN! If you've never heard or had broasted chicken look it up- it's like pressure cooked and friend at the same time and it's bomb. My mojos were great. My salad bar was great (they have raisins and sunflower seeds and don't even come for me about my raisins- they do belong on salad). The restaurant was clean. The staff was friendly. There's a cute arcade area for kiddos and most importantly- an exposed brick wall with the nostalgic Shakey's sign painted on Thanks for letting me revisit my childhood with yummy food. Going thru the reviews as of recent I think everyone can agree on one thing for sure... Jermaine is absolutely incredible. He is a very sweet respectful young man! He was raised right!! We were in w some friends and he interacted with the kids and made sure they were all happy and had what they needed. He constantly was checking on everyone in the restaurant!! A huge improvement from the last time we came in a couple months ago. The restrooms were clean and well kept. The food was hot and fresh when it came to the table! Very happy with our visit today!! Your knowledge and time you took with me in choosing what the best pizza package to get when ordering the food made the rest of what I had to do come so much easier to achieve. I also want to thank your staff who also were very attentive checking in on us to see if we needed anything and immediately providing the request. By the way, we hosted the party on their patio that seats 50. Great place to use when you have little ones to keep an eye on. And ours, had the time of their life running around in their own little world. I've been here a few times with the kids, and always have a good time. The games need some maintenance, but the staff always does a great job of replacing any missing tokens or tickets. This visit, I had a particularly great experience. Specifically the employee who brought our food, and then helped my kids with a few issues, Jermaine. He was unbelievable! Very friendly, outstanding sense of customer service, great work ethic, and just non stop energy and courtesy with a smile. Not just with me and my family. I watched him working the whole room. He never stopped, and never stopped smiling. I've been in management for over 20 years. Employees with his work ethic, and attitude are extremely rare. Please give this guy a raise. read more
