Decided to check this place out last night. It looks very nice and inviting from the outside. But when you get inside its a bit different. I guess they like to serve warm beer, flat red bull with a warm glass with stuff floating around in it! And the (DJ) o my gawd looked like he was 12 and couldn't DJ for the life of him. I stay at the Residence Inn for work man days a year and find myself at Shamrocks more often than not. The beer choices are great, the tri tip is smoked on sight and the wait staff is friendly. The prices are the best part. If you want a friendly watering hole with good bar food, this is the spot. read more

Food was good and came out fast, however it was cold, and the mashed potatoes were flavourless...took a long time after being seated to have someone actually come to the table and acknowledge us. Wanted lunch and a beer at a bar today. Checked out the yelp reviews saw that someone today had an issue. I'm up for it. I will be my own judge and jury. Sat down. I was immediately greeted by a very beautiful woman. .. my bad. Not going there. I was there for a few hours. Could not have expected anything more. Food was hot. Not warm like most places. Hot. Beer was cold. Before I was finished with one I would be asked if I would like another. Nice bar. Great food. I also noticed that there was a volleyball team visiting from our of town having lunch between games at centennial. They seemed to have had no issues. Parents and children. Generally I try to stay out of the IE, and contributing reason for that is the lack of serviceable places. We had a good waitress who was friendly and provided good service, but nothing she brought us was all that tasty or even reasonably priced considering the food quality. I probably shouldn't have waited so long on this review because I'm drawing a blank on details, but I do know that I left unsatisfied. Waitress was nice, but service was slow. Took a few trips to get all our drink orders. Then my boys got their food. The hamburgers were big, so wish they would have asked how we wanted them cooked. I would have said well done, instead of med rare. My husband was last to get his meal, way after everone else was done, and it was not even warm! The food tasted ok, but def would not go back. And now that I read the reviews and see the refuse to serve anyone wearing Dodgers/ Raiders gear, I think that might be a bit racist, since its usually Latinos wearing those. THIS PLACE IS OKAY BUT COULD BE GREAT: A few of us stopped in for drinks. We found the place to be quite large with about 10 people there when we arrived. We had a variety of drinks from beer to mix drinks. The beer want cold enough as evidenced by the foam produced when pouring a pint. There were also issues with the soda dispensing improperly. The guys and gals in or group said the mix drinks were weak. The biggest complaint are the restrooms not being clean and stocked (toilet paper). On the positive, everyone liked the main room and feel bar feel and that they were clean. Hopefully , management can get things corrected to make this a great place. read more

We live near this place and thought we would try it tonight. The service was ok but the food was horrible. The potato skins where small, bacon was under cooked and potatoes where over cooked. It took about 20 minutes to get our appetizer then 3 minutes later our entrees came out. My husband got fish and chips that where disappointing considering it is a pub. The fish was obviously frozen fish sticks and the fries where not cooked properly! My Tri-Tip was horrible and the BBQ sauce was bland. The Mashed potatoes where the high light of the meal and they where not that great. Meal cost $38 and we will never go back! read more

I would have given this place a 1 star, but the manager saved the second star. First off if a place has only three stars I usually don't bother with the place, usually the reviews on yelp are pretty accurate. Anyway I met up with some friends who I haven't seen in a long time. When we got there, there was a blonde bartender with glasses who was pregnant. It was kind weird to see a pregnant bartender, but whatever. She came over and asked what we wanted to drink, and then asked us to see our ids. After we showed her the ids she then asked one of our guys what he wanted to drink, (since we have never been here) he asked what do you have in tap? She rolled her eyes grunted out loud and said the names of all of their beers sooo fast he didn't even know what she said. Our other friend came back from the bathroom and she asked what he wanted. So he asked the same thing what do you have on tap. She rolled her eyes again and said (after throwing him his coaster) were you not listening? She was completely rude. We decide to play darts since there wasn't much to do at the bar so we picked up our drinks and moved as she shouted hey I need a card! I told her we weren't leaving she said your leaving the bar I need a card. So I gave her my card. We go to Close out our tab and she was able to ring up our order, but forgot to give me my card back. Like wtf why ask to hold my card if your gonna forget you yelled at me to leave one! (There were literally 10 people in the whole place) So I had to drive back to corona from orange the next day to get my card! Horrible service from this one bartender. A great place to have food n drinks in a chill place... I had the Tri- tip salad - sooo good! The place had a great vibe- drinks-beer and mixed- karaoke- darts- outside patio area for all us smokers. Went in last night around 12:30...I was hoping they had food which they did but they only had fried food at that time. No worries, so we ordered wings and mozzarella sticks. They were great. And I was surprised. The service was really good too. There was just one bartender (shirt blonde) and a barback from what I could see but she had it handled. So all my buddies love this place and I know a decent amount of people whenever I'm there so it's always a decent time. The bartenders are super friendly and they have a good beer selection. Karaoke is whatever a couple people are good but it's just alright. Never had the food but it looked less than average. Kind of dirty but not a dive bar so a good scrubbing of walls would be nice. When you come here, expect a bar. It's not top star service, fancy surroundings, or huge food selection, but as a bar it does the job exceptionally. The food is great for a bar (I had Wurst and Mash, dad had Pulled Pork, mom had Mushroom Burger). The beer selection is good, wine glasses are generous, and people are friendly. Went to Shamrock's for the first time this week. Super cute and fun place! It's a cozy place and the staff is really nice. Had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners who was really charming and thankful for our business. Went on Tuesday which was karaoke night! Had a blast! Won the karaoke contest for the night and got a $25 gift certificate for the bar. Coronas were $3 and jack and diet $7. It was so much fun!! Without a close second, absolutely the most poorly-run, worst restaurant/bar I have been to. I have been here 4 times in my life. I've never even had a neutral experience. Every experience has been horrible. Their service is crap. The latest was last night. I was at a great fundraising event. Our waitress was nowhere to be found and usually when I did see her she looked lost and like she was slowly wandering. We wanted a drink so went up to the bar. We literally waited about 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our existence. It was fairly crowded but everyone behind the bar appeared in disarray and disinterested in helping customers. I figured - better keep it simple so I paid cash. She grabbed my $20 and went back to some buckets and started sifting through cash and it seriously took her like 5 full minutes to figure out how to make change. Why doesn't this place have their cash in a register like a normal business?? Anyway, I'll never set foot in there again. There are way too many competing businesses who actually know how to run a business and care about their customers to waste my time or money on a place like this. Beer was great! Nice selection. But I was appalled at the customer service. The food was presented with my pops then 10mins later the appetizer then mine... Then 15 mins later my girlfriends plate and almost 20 mins after that alone was finally my mom's plate. I felt like our waitress wasn't involved with our table. I stead she felt the need to flirt with the other dudes at the table down the way. Honestly food was amazing but the service just ruined everything. Although thank you to the manager for comping us the meal (moms meal)for the length of time it took. I do not think I will be revisiting this establishment unless I am going to drink. read more

Stopped in here for what we hoped for a cold beer. Draft beer was mediocre not cold therefore; not enticing enough to order another "cold" one. On a good note- beef dip sandwich was delicious. not many Irish meals offered and the one offered...Two one-inch chunks of dried out corned beef, an under-cooked half potato and two carrot chunks in a bowl of broth that had no taste.
