Where to start.. When my girlfriend, soon to be fiance, and I walked into Shane Co., we were greeted by Chaz Bryner. I wasn't really sure what to expect but I had heard great reviews already from Shane Co. and figured that was a great place to start. Chaz didn't want to sell us anything instead, his priority was to find out what my girlfriend was looking for and let her be the one to say one way or another. In our small talk with Chaz, we ended up finding out that we have run into him before at my girlfriend's and my gym. It wasn't just one thing that made our visit amazing but everything. They had coffee up at the front which is where Chaz sent my girlfriend so that we could have the big conversation. I walked out that day after putting a down payment on a ring and had no questions in my head whatsoever that were not addressed by Chaz. I never would have guessed that the FIRST place we went would be the only place we needed to look at. My girlfriend and I did go to two other places and looked and walked out shaking our heads because they were trying to SELL to us instead of listening to what she had in mind like Chaz did. I will definitely be back to Shane Co. for every future jewelry purchase and have already spoken with Chaz about wedding bands when it comes time. Thank you Shane Co. and Chaz for helping me make my first big investment that is going to be the first step in started a wonderful life with my soul mate. I will recommend y'all to everyone that needs to buy any jewelry not just because of the prices or the gaurantees or the lifetime service work or the customer service but everything put together. In September I decided to propose. I went in to Shane Co after having been to several other jewelry stores where I found the sales people to be very pushy. It was an entirely different experience with the sales people at Shane Co. Kevin the gentleman that took care of me was very patient with my millions of questions and took the time to educate me about diamonds. He didn't use any hard sales tactics like sales people at the other stores I had visited that day. After about two hours mostly because of all of my questions and indecision He helped me find what I thought would be the perfect ring. Turns out it was not the perfect ring... A friend let the secret slip and my girlfriend saw the picture of the ring and though she said she liked it I could tell it was just not right ring for her. I called in and spoke with Kevin again and explained the situation trying to see if I could cancel the order and find another, but it was already too late... I was panicked I couldn't give her a ring she hated... This is where Kevin and his manager went WAY above and beyond. They gave me full credit for the ring!!! I was blown away i never expected that from them. The next week we went in and found the perfect ring. Kevin and I think his name was Kelly Really saved the day and made me and My Fiancé to be very happy! Every time I have been in since everyone treats me great making sure im being helped even if it is extremely busy. If I could I would give this store and all the employees 6 out of 5 stars! I have been going to Shane Co. since 2003. My then boyfriend and I bought our engagement rings and bands. We were married that year and I continued purchasing jewelry over the next couple of years. In 2007, my husband was in a car accident and passed away. Shane Co. even worked with me and we designed a "remembrance" ring out of my engagement ring that I still wear today. Fast forward to 2013, I was a bit apprehensive when I began dating and was asked to be married. He didn't know any better and bought his engagement ring from D. Gellar. We went to Shane Co. to pick out bands. That's when we met Chaz. The commercials state, "Now you have a friend in the diamond business" How true that is with Chaz. He helped us pick out bands, cleaned my other rings, and all the while talked to us as friends, not like customers. Later, I found a set online that I really liked and Shane Co was willing to set my stone from a competitor in the new setting. So we went in and asked for Chaz. He remembered both of our names, and all of the details from our previous conversations like where we went to college and where we chose to have our wedding ceremony. Of all the time I have spent in the last 11 years at Shane Co. I have never met another employee like Chaz. He is a wonderful person to work with at a great place to buy jewelry. Had an awful experience at D. Geller and Sons and then came here. Soon as we came in Chaz(the best sales rep there) came over, introduced himself and then asked if we wanted anything to drink. Keep in mind it is Saturday and the place is packed. Then he proceeded to help us but not haggle down our throats because they're not paid on commission. I liked a few rings and then he told me to hold them!! I was so blown away. Most jewelry stores act like you're 4 and take it right back and hold their hand close to yours when it's on your finger. So that was great. It allowed us time to browse by ourselves and talk about it. Then we finally came to one I fell in love with. They pulled some diamonds from the back and bam, made my dream ring. We got the ring and it was the best experience I've had. They were very professional, sweet, and respected our budget without making us feel stupid. If you go there try to get Chaz to help you. He's hilarious and knows what he's talking about. They also let us see the diamond which D. Geller did not. Also, we got a diamond report which shows the flaws in the diamond! Ralph H. In anticipation of our 45th wedding anniversary, I wanted my wife to pick out a piece of jewelry for herself. She decided on a sapphire ring and the hunt began. On our first visit, we spoke to Misty York. Misty was very helpful but my bride didn't see exactly what she was looking for. After a visit to a few "other" jewelers, both in person and on-line, we decided to return to Shane Co. after the perfect ring was found on your website and because you have a reputation and promise to guarantee jewelry for life! A quick call to Misty was made and she found the ring in your inventory. The next day we went to store - saw the ring and made the purchase. Also that day, we brought in a sapphire bracelet purchased in 1999, at your former Marietta location. A minor adjustment was needed on the clasp and I expected to stand in line for the repair to be done. Instead, Misty took the bracelet to have it fixed and brought it back to us as we were paying for our ring purchase. Great service again!! This is the best place to buy jewelry from! My husband and I will be married for 10 years in October. He bought my rings from Shane Co in 2002, the store near us had closed, and we were to far out from another to make it in to get my rings checked every six months. I recently had seen that the band of my engagement ring had broke away from the stone setting itself and took it in to get it fixed. Instead of having a semi fix done, I just bought a whole new set, which they used my original purchase price as a trade in and I paid the difference, then had them reset the stone. While waiting for them to reset the stone, I received a phone call from Shane Co stating that my stone had a crack in it. With the help of Neomi, and no hassle what so ever, we were able to find a similar stone that I so very much love while keeping the same appraisal price that my original diamond was worth. I now have a full warranty once again and will definitely have a dinner date with my husband every 6 months to ensure that this kind of situation never arises again! All I have to say is wow. What a wonderful place, with wonderful people! Walking into the store my boyfriend and I had left from another jewelry store and right away we could tell a positive difference in the atmosphere, customer service, and ring prices/quality. We worked closely with two different men, Marcus Luck and DJ! Both of them were very helpful and educated us on ring types and diamonds. DJ greeted us and found a setting that was exactly what I had described, and he then sent us over to Marcus. Marcus showed us loose diamonds and told us all about them. Not once did we feel pressured to buy anything, or did we feel like they were just trying to sell us something. Towards the end of our appointment we decided to make a down payment on the ring that we had picked, however it was not because the men we worked with pressure us to do so! The ring was well within our price range and they never showed us any thing that was over it. I went to Shane Co. in Kennesaw to purchase a new diamond engagement ring to replace the one I had lost of 28 years. I was so intimidated and nervous, but right away Marcus made me feel so comfortable and at ease. He was so very kind and helpful. I found one and put it on hold/layaway to "think about it". After going home and talking to my husband a million questions came up. Marcus welcomed me back with a big smile and his usual friendly demeanor. He was so amazingly patient and did everything he could to answer my questions and address my concerns. He actually took the time to explain it all by drawing diagrams. My boyfriend and I just stopped in to look. No intentions of buying. Thanks to Marcus we left with a ring, bands, and happiness. We never felt pressured, but the way he presented everything to us it would be crazy not to leave with something. We have dated 6 years and known each other forever so its not like an engagement hasn't come up, but we had never shopped around. So glad our first and last stop was Shane Co. Upgrading will be easy (if I ever want to), if I lose any stones or something happens to the ring no questions asked they will replace. Going to the Shane Company was the best decision I have ever made when it's come to purchasing jewelry. I went to Shane Co. for the first time when I was shopping for engagement rings - having shopped at other chain jewelry stores in the past, Shane Co. was far from what I expected. Over a period of couple months, I was in and out of the Kennesaw store fairly consistently as I picked out the ring and the diamond. Thomas was awesome! He was always helpful and learned a lot about jewelry from him; he was also great about only showing me things that were in my targeted budget range. My fiancé and I have since gone back to Shane Co. to purchase our wedding bands from them as well, and once again, we worked with Thomas! Everytime I've been to this store, it's been a pleasant experience. I don't feel like I'm being lied to. They stress very much in their commercials that they don't work on commission and it really shows. No one is pushy and the prices don't magically change when you go to leave without purchasing. That's comforting. Katharine helped me with having my engagement ring resized and helped me look at some bands. She knew I had no intention of buying today and still spent a lot of time with me trying to find something perfect. Even she was excited when she found a band that really complimented my ring well. For a stress free buying experience I would definitely go here. We had shopped all around and have vowed to always buy our jewelry from Shane co. My only complaint is that they don't have a location in norther virginia yet! My first experience with Shane Co... a great one! I came in searching for the perfect 10 year wedding anniversary present for my wife (who was on hospital bed rest with our first children TWINS!). I brought in her engagement ring and wedding bad to find a great 2nd band to match. Then I met Manuel. He was fantastic. He took a look at her rings and started offereng suggestions based on size, style, and weight. He found the PERFECT pairing for her existing bands and made sure he was respectful of my budget. He even suggested going down on total weight to save $$ and get a better match to her existing bling. Tressa was fantastic as well. She helped take care of the finances with me and got a multi-ring box for me to present her the new ring while Manuel cleaned the others (that were not from Shane Co) as a courtesy. My girlfriend and I visited the Barrett Parkway location of Shane Co. this Monday and we got Misty York as our associate. She was extremely nice and put a huge amount of effort into finding something that my girlfriend loved. My girlfriend can be very hard to buy gifts for but Misty didn't give up and persevered until we found something. She even seemed to take it personally that she couldn't find anything for us for a while. There was no pressure and it was great to see my girlfriend's eyes light up when we found the right piece. She also helped explain their layaway plan that I wasn't aware of which was immensely helpful. We've only been to Shane Co. twice but both times they impressed me with how dedicated they are to their customers and how they make it a mission to put as little pressure on the experience as possible. I bought my wife's wedding ring, a necklace, and earrings (and upgraded the diamonds in those earring just a few days ago) over the span of 6 years. Always a good experience. The staff makes sure to explain all options and price ranges very clearly. I have NEVER felt pressured or guilted into making a purchase. The whole team makes it fun and enjoyable. Every time they have told me a pick up date/time the service or jewelry had been ready. They deliver on time and at reasonable pricing for those big days like birthdays and anniversaries. I have had the greatest experience with Shane Company! I have been here twice and have thoroughly enjoyed the employees and the jewelry. Everyone was ridiculously friendly... I did not meet one person who was rude or pushy. My boyfriend and I went to browse for wedding sets. I have found my dream ring here and have had the best experience. The prices seem fair and I like how easy it is to look at the merchandise. Everyone was helpful, but not too overbearing. We never felt pressured to purchase a ring right then and there and I appreciate that! We were there to browse and they respected that. If you are in this area, I highly suggest this place. We went with the more traditional setting, but the halo was gorgeous! Lia was so courteous, and really helped us find the perfect ring for our price range! And the pictures don't do it justice! Lia spent so much time with me and my girlfriend, even while making sure EVERY customer that came in after us was greeted and looked after (she was everywhere, it was amazing). They don't get commission, so the pressure is super low for everyone involved, and it allows every customer equal attention regardless of budget. The selection of settings and diamonds is unmatched, and what they have over other retailers is that if you decide to go with a larger diamond, they will give you full credit on the old diamond toward the new one! Matt Owen educated me on settings and helped me narrow down what styles I preferred. He was very knowledgeable, listened to what I was saying, and understood things that I wanted that I couldn't put into words.
