We were in and out in 30 minutes. I couldn't remember the gentlemen's name but he was very nice and not pushy at all. If I had to name him... I'd name him Rocky. If you could smell personality, he smelled of cool uncle, not cool water. Fast forward 3 months and it came time to buy my wife's wedding band. Because of her unique style of engagement ring that we had custom made, finding an accompanying wedding band was difficult. UNTIL - Michelle B came to our rescue. I remember it was Michelle B because she was the BLOND Michelle :) She was EXTREMELY accommodating. She took our downtrodden "well that one's ok, but..." comments in stride and didn't stop. She kept on bringing design after design out (with a never negative attitude keep in mind). We thought we were stuck getting something custom made elsewhere and were ready to give up, however Michelle B pulled through, and well within my budget to boot. I can't say enough great things about Shane Co and my experience there. My fiancee and I had a truly great experience at this store when shopping for an engagement ring. We arrived at the store at 4 pm, knowing that they closed at 5 pm and only had an hour to look around. Collin attended us, showed us pretty much every item that they had in the store, and helped us pick the perfect ring for my fiancee. He never pressured us, and was extremely helpful and patient. I was impressed with the store's policy that they will not close until the last customer is out the door. We insisted that we did not want to impose, but they stayed open until 7 pm for us to finish picking a ring and a diamond my fiancee liked (they knew we were in town only for the day). The prices were competitive, and after having looked at other places, I can say that their variety of styles and quality are hard to match. When you throw in an included lifetime warranty, free ring re-sizing for life, and a no-fee diamond upgrade by only paying the difference in price (and need I say, a layaway program...), this was definitely an easy decision. I brought my ring in for cleaning, maintenance and repair if needed. I have brought my ring here 3 precious times years ago. The first question is did you buy this ring here? No because it was 16 years ago. I wanted rhodium platinum done. The sales associate was nice but said, well since you did not buy it here I don't know if my jeweler will feel comfortable. Long story short they would not service the ring! I don't know if they just want to sell you a new ring. The sales associate was kind, But the service of the store is not good. Also their website does not mention it will not work on rings not purchases from their store. Strangely the did years ago. I went to another jeweler who was very kind, worked with me and my ring will be ready by Friday! He suggested adding new prongs as well. I came in to have a bracelet made, first visit took over 2 hours and I was only needing to select a chain, they measured my wrist but somehow upon pick up it was a size to big. It is a 50 minute drive for me each way and this will be the third time dealing with the size of this bracelet this week. I brought the setting without the pearl, our warranty, the box it came in, etc... I was so pleasantly surprised when Brandi said that it wasn't a problem. They would honor the warranty and replace the ring free of charge! She made the paperwork painless and was so apologetic for what had happened and any inconvenience it had caused us!
