Amazing customer service, top notch sales people and the best selection in Phoenix. I went in today and received some of the best customer service I've experienced in years. Mike was new to Shane Co but showed very good product knowledge and a great deal of patiences as I looked through each case to find my wife that perfect gift. Everyone in the store greeted me and made sure my needs were exceeded, not just met. After working with Mike to find the ring, I spoke with the Store manager, Matt, who happily came out to meet me. I told him about my experience and how pleased I was with Mike. Matt was great as well, he has built an amazing team and and runs an immaculate store. Shane Co. really impressed me with their level of customer service. Their level of honesty was top notch. They know picking the perfect diamond isn't a in and out kind of sale and spent a lot of time with me. I ended up looking at about 10 or so stones. I kind of wish their diamond selection had been a bit more or their website listed the inclusions with the diamonds you can search and pick (other online retailers do this). After some slight confusion I really felt Diane & Eli went above and beyond what any other B&M jeweler would have, especially since I had already paid. It was top heavy with a very narrow shank and would slide around my finger. I took it back and asked if the could make the shank wider? They were going to charge me to fix the problem. I started shopping for my fiancés ring in August. Only lightly educated from the net I went in a bit nervous. Sarah H was nothing short of amazing. She took over a hour with me going threw every setting they had in the place the first day. It took me over a month to choose a setting and diamond. She was patient, poised and professional. She helped settle my nerves and make a great choice. I worked with several of the sales team, popping in and out around my work schedule, they where all excellent! I completed my choice with Rocky, another total pro! He knows his business. Had a chance to get with Rocky before at a different jeweler. When I saw him here I was just thrilled. I'm very familiar with Shane Company's radio ads so I always knew they might be my last stop. You might think I should have made them my first stop, but shopping around helped me appreciate their great service. We found the right ring with the perfect mix of beauty and value. My fiancée couldn't be happier! Our Shane story gets even better. I bought my wedding band there as well. Never tried it on after picking it out and put away in the box. Something went awry, maybe the same ring of a different size was placed in the box. When I went to try it on 2 months later just days before our wedding, it was too small. I had even lost weight since the date of purchase! Not to fear, brought it back and they changed it out for a larger size. Now I know your average jewelry store would not have done that. Fantastic! My girlfriend Teresa and I recently went in looking for an engagement ring, not really expecting too much (we had never been to Shane Co before), and we were blown away! Right when we walked in we were greeted by an incredibly friendly gentleman named Taha who began to ask us what we were looking for. When we said an engagement ring, there were no giant dollar signs in his eyes, just genuine excitement for us. Teresa was not entirely sure what she wanted in a ring, and Taha was very understanding and gave us some time and space to browse. Over time we narrowed it down to a few she really liked, but was not entirely sold. Taha then mentioned their ability to create a semi-custom ring! ("Semi" meaning it would not be a ring from scratch or anything, but they can order various parts like the band or basket and connect them) This is when Dallas came out (as I'm sure you've seen in other reviews, Dallas is THE MAN!). He then started giving us some of the options we had in terms of parts and gave his opinion on what would look good. There was a Tiffany's ring Teresa had seen a while back that she was wondering if they could do something similar, but they did not exactly have the basket that would match. However, this was when they brought their jewelery creator out (his name escapes me right now, but another incredibly friendly guy). He said that he could actually use sizing stock to create a custom basket exactly like the Tiffany ring! (you'd think this the ring was for me, I was so excited!) Dallas then came out with a nice array of diamonds that fit our budget (from slightly smaller and very clear to a little larger and a little less clear). All were very nice and very unique, we ended up going with one in the middle. He then totaled it all up (came in under budget!), I put down my deposit and we were out of there! From entry to exit, it was an amazing experience! No pressure, no gimmicks, just knowledgeable and honest sales associates trying to make everything as easy as possible! read more

Very strange experience. Went in for our 25th anniversary ring and one lady took us to the "diamond room" and showed us diamonds. Then she walked us out to the showroom to look at more settings. About 5 minutes later, she introduced us to a NEW sales lady and shook our hands and said "goodbye". When I asked the new lady why the first lady dropped us, she said "we share here." It was very weird, and I asked her again later, and she didn't have a good answer. The whole thing felt weird and was unsettling. I will say that just because they work on salary does not mean that they don't get bonuses. We went elsewhere and bought a lovely ring, and Shane Co lost a HUGE sale. read more

My husband and I went to Shane Co to upgrade my setting and diamond. Andrew was the salesman who helped us from beginning to end. He was wonderful and very patient with me. My daughter's husband selected her diamond and setting from Shane Co so we decided to give it a try and I am glad we did. Financing was easy. Also, if you want to upgrade they will give you full value for current diamond that you originally purchased from Shane Co. The upgrade just needs to be a $1 or more increase in price. Recently I walked in with my daughter to pick up her ring and I decided to have my rings cleaned. While Cleaning they realized my center stone was loose, the attendant explained to me how to tell if the stone is secure or not. While tightening it up, a stone ended up falling out of the ring -- twice! They ended up having to send it out, to fix it -- but the customer service and the means to go out of their way to ensure that a customer is satisfied is way above what I expected!! The service, time that the Jeweler took to explain why the stones were loose and what was needed to fix it was a great asset and I felt very comfortable having them work on my ring - and I also found a new piece that I just feel in love with -- so it was a win win for all of us!! :) Thanks for taking such great care of me and my ring!! read more

My wife and I have been Shane Co customers since we bought our wedding rings there 15 years ago. The service has always been top notch, the staff has been there to help us over the years from jewelry repair, cleanings, even an insurance replacement for a lost ring. Last night on a whim my wife and I went down to look at upgrading her rings. The staff was very pleasant and helpful as she tried on dozens of rings. When she finally found the perfect set it was fun to see her get all giddy as she looked at them sparkle on her finger. Shane Co's generous upgrade/trade-in policy made the experience even better. Apparently if you don't buy your jewelry through Shane co they will not touch it. It doesn't make a difference that we spent thousands of dollars there on other things. My wedding ring that was handed down was broken. The sales rep was beyond rude and snobby. So we went to different jeweler across the street that was polite and showed compassion. Today, we walked in the Scottsdale location to purchase some diamond earrings. I had an idea what I wanted and our sales associate Diane brought everything out that matched what I wanted. I kid you not I probably tried on two different pairs of hoop earrings ten times each before I made a decision. I was very indecisive and not sure I even wanted to purchase today. My fiance surprised me with the most gorgeous ring purchased from the Shane Co. The center diamond is so clear and beautiful and the side sapphires are amazing complements to the diamond. When I asked him about purchasing it, he said he went to two other stores where they weren't as open to his wants and really pressured him. He said the commercials were spot on when they say that there isn't pressure to buy. My fiance also said the price was the best for the quality he was looking for. The only slight downfall was that it was too large so I had to get it sized down. When I got it back, the shank was really thin. However, when I contacted the store, the store manager was apologetic and agreed to fix it and get it back to me as soon as possible. When I took it in, the store clerk and jeweler were so nice and explained what they would be doing so I knew what was happening with my ring. I got it back after 2 days (over a weekend) and you couldn't even tell that it had been altered. All around, they were very easy to work with.
