There to peruse items with perhaps less bling then Marilyn I was surprised by the variety of options. Financing is available (thru Wells Fargo) and layaway (!) for up to one year. Mr. Shane will hold special items for up to one year, no restocking fee, no interest, fully refundable, provided payments are in good standing. Useful information. (There is no excuse not to buy a nice engagement ring.) But *not* why I was there. After lingering over engravable necklaces I passed the Service Department. All work is done in the open. (Technically, behind high security plastic/glass. But you can see!) The space is nicely designed with a designated viewing area that has direct sunlight. Purchases at Shane Co. are worry free. Should [gasp] a stone fall out from normal wear and tear the store stands behind the sale. Any engraving work has the same promise. Should letters/numbers buff or polish off Mr. Shane will replace the item free. Useful information. Items are not mass produced. A purchase from this store is current on style. You aren't likely to run into someone else with the same item. Useful Information. There is a 60 day return policy. Yup. The store is high on sharing education. I'm not in the market for a diamond. Having just bought our wedding bands, I don't think my fiance (I still need to get used to this!) and I have any authority to speak about the Lifetime Warranty but what we can attest to is their customer service. Though the first sales lady we spoke with was juggling several customers and seemed in a bit of a rush running between all of us, she graciously handed us over to one of her colleagues (I believe it was Sonia) who was better able to walk us through the process, discuss our options with us, and finally deciding on the bands we bought. She never rushed us even though it was right about closing time, taking the time to answer all of our questions, and always ready to bring us a handful of options that fit our budget and style. What we can say about the Lifetime Warranty is that people love it. While we were looking at wedding bands, a customer who had come in to get his ring cleaned/re-sized made it a point to tell us how happy he was with their service over the years. From what I remember, the Lifetime Warranty includes free re-sizing for life, free cleanings, and re-appraisals of your ring. Unfortunately, the re-sizing is only good for gold rings (maybe platinum too? I don't recall) which bumped up the price tag for us a pretty little penny since the designs that he liked did come in titanium as well and would have just cost us a third of the one he finally decided on which was in white gold. I'm not usually a jewelry girl (that can change though!) but if I did want to treat myself to something (or if someone *coughnudgecough* offered to buy me some...he isn't usually on Yelp so this will fall on deaf ears anywho), I'd definitely swing by Shane Co. I've lived in Arizona my whole life and have heard countless radio commercials for Shane Co. Now an adult with a "real job" that actually pays, I felt like I could walk into Shane Co to check out jewelry that didn't have the words "cubic zirconia" on the label. Staff: really truly helpful staff. They are non-comissioned employees, are paid salary, and to me, it really shows. There's no pressure to buy, but lots of encouragement to try things on and look around. Everyone I encountered was knowledgeable and wore at least one item from Shane Co. What better sales pitch could there be than for the employee to want to buy their own jewelry there? Store: well laid-out, lots of display cases to peruse. All display cases are clean, no smudges, with adequate lighting. Plenty of jewelry to browse, but cases are not crowded and are grouped by type (pearls, earrings, wedding bands, diamond solitaires, etc). The store is also very clean and well kept. Perhaps a bit dated, but why change a good thing? Parking lot is well kept, lots of space available. Arguably one of the better "big" jewelry stores I've ever been to for diamonds and other gemstone pieces. Non-judgemental, friendly staff really just seals the deal. read more

Both of them were very knowledgeable about the products and good at matching our preferences to rings that match... along with offering creative solutions. Although the groom's ring is easier than the bride's, it was very helpful that Michael was excellent at clarifying what rings can be resized, the pros & cons of various materials... altho I can't resize it, excited to have a ring with meteorite, white gold & rose gold. I have a very special and rare diamond that deserves the upmost care and concern when dealing with this diamond. Anytime I have come into that Shane Co. I am greeted by a professional staff members that are eager to help me and show me exactly what I may be looking for. They are never in a hurry or pushy in trying to make a sale they truly are trying to help you create your luck that you want for your ring. I chose a wedding ring set that has diamonds and sapphires it has 21 stones between the two bands and the diamond would make the 22nd stone. Because of the nature of the center diamond I did have to go to Farar jeweler to Rod and have him set the diamond. Once the diamond has been set by Rod Shane Co. honors all warranties and will rhodium and take care of the ring as if it was a normal ring. Because of the nature of my diamond I don't like to leave it overnight to be rhodium door cleaned every single time I have gone up there the Shane Company has moved heaven and earth to make sure that my ring is done in the afternoon time that I have available the same jeweler takes care of it he knows the ring and takes very good care of it and treat it with the upmost respect that it deserves. My center diamond is a red 1.24 carat diamond that was created in St. Petersburg Russia with the ashes of my daughter who died six years ago. Honestly, I looked it all up and put it in my cart, but I had a lady in the chat box help me and tell me I was adding a part for another diamond shape. This is seriously my favorite Jewelry store in the world! My husband got my engagement ring there and we also got our wedding bands and a could necklaces and earring forms there! And they have great customer service! Just as an FYI if you did have the old Shane Co card That was affiliated with Wells Fargo they will no longer work they are now with TD Bank. So the other day when me and my husband went to clean my ring, we were looking at a pair of earrings and when I pulled out my card because I hadn't been there since December they told me it would not work so I did have to reapply for the new card which really didn't take that long maybe about 10-15 minutes at most. And was easily able to purchase my earrings! I also love that they give you a certificate of authenticity on your pricing for your items. But I guess they got rid of the if your ring or jewelry or stone gets broken or lost they're not going to replace it anymore even though supposedly they still have a lifetime warranty!? But anyway it's still a good jewelry store and it's nice because they have more variety and selection and give you your moneys worth, Unlike Kay jewelers who just jack up the prices on cheap rings. This was an absolutely terrible experience. Upon arrival we were rudely greeted by the manager saying. " We can't have those masks in here." Mind you the masks we had on were better than the paper ones they demanded we wear. After 25 minutes waiting for a sales person we were told to stand in front of a case of rings that did not interest me at all. After a few minutes our salesman disappeared and was gone for 15 minutes. Only to be told he had an appointment and we were handed off to someone else. I saw the case I wanted to look at but we couldn't because another couple was standing there. This entire experience was terrible. Stay far away from this place, went back to Jared's and spent my money there and felt appreciated, wanted and cared for. I also bought a necklace for her online for her birthday, shortly after meeting her (back then I knew she was the one. My other experiences have just as satisfying, I bought a 3-gem ring for my daughter on her 21st adoption anniversary, she lost one of the stones recently, they fixed fir nothing, no questions asked. Finally I bought a beautiful diamond and sapphire wedding ring for my late wife to replace the wedding ring that she had lost. Nice store , horrible customer service. We decided to goto Shane & co. To have a custom wedding ring made in Aug 2017. As the commercial says they can do custom rings. We were greeted by a young male, as soon as we walked in the front door he immediately looked at the jewlery I was wearing, I thought to myself seeing him do this. I new exactly how this was going to go. I then explained and brought a sketch of what we were looking for : marquis cut center stone with a channel setting in baguettes double bypass ring 14k yellow gold. I did mention that we have just celebrated our 20 year wedding anniversary, and this is what we wanted. He then said have we been saving for 20 years for this ring. I got extremely insulted. I said don't worry about the money. It was not a problem. He then finally said I think I know what you are looking for, my grandmother had that ring. Another insult, really? I said if you can not help us let us know and we will go elsewhere. So after 45 minutes of wasting our time, we left extremely unhappy with their customer service skills.
