I went to Lee's tonight, based on a recommendation from a friend. I had been craving shrimp, but,…read moresadly, they only partially filled the need. The two shrimp offerings included an appetizer or a plate. I chose the appetizer, adding fries and a drink. I will say in their favor that the food was lavicularly hot and crispy on arrival, a nice change from another establishment in the area who placed gorgeous shrimp in closed up plastic, encouraging the crust to slough off. But, I digress. Back to Lee's. Their carry out tray was the old gray carrier. The shrimp were okay, but the coating was way too thick and the fries lackluster. A bright note - the cocktail sauce was great! They should market that stuff. Just enough horseradish to zing a bit. Maybe next time I'll stick with the dogs.
