The first dish, the pork tenderloin, came out rather quickly but was a bit too flavorful to eat without rice. Our second dish, the appetizer, came about 5-10 min later. Once the mapo tofu came out, another 10-15 min after the appetizer, we realized that a bowl of rice was not included with any entree and had to be ordered separately. Since the dishes didn't come with rice, we were waiting for our final dish, the fried rice, to eat with our meal. When the mapo tofu came, we did ask the status of the rice and were told that they were frying it. It was definitely taking much longer than expected given that it's been about 45 min since we ordered and it's typically a pretty quick dish. We were actually contemplating cancelling the order but finally received the fried rice almost an hour later. It was disappointing to not receive any acknowledgement on the time it took for the dish to arrive to us. As for the taste, the fried rice was very soft and lacked the typical flavor I would expect from Yang Chow Fried Rice. Another note is that we also didn't receive any serving utensils throughout our meal and had to ask for them. They did offer separate bowls earlier on which was a plus. Overall, a poor experience and I personally wouldn't come back as there are much better restaurants in the area serving the same cuisine.
