My friends and I rented 2 coaches from here and we had a great experience. The service was friendly as well as how quickly they expedited the release and return of the Coaches. The coaches we're well maintained and clean. I also found that with my insurance it was easy to get a binder for the coverage with my current insurance, versus the price they charge to insure the coach. I wanted to like this place, the staff were very friendly. We rented an RV and on our first day we were surprised by bed bugs. Wasted area where we could've sat/sleep. Also some amenities weren't working. When returning the RV they noticed a scratch on the awning. (Did I mention everything still was in working condition and not torn)The repair person himself said it would not be more than $200 and when we received the invoice it was around $500+ Very disappointed. read more

I honestly cannot understand how there are negative reviews. Joe, the owner, takes a personal interest in each rental. It was only my second time renting an RV and the whole experience was wonderful. Joe is available all the time on his cell phone which shows you their commitment to service. The coach I rented only had 12000 miles on it and was cheaper than my previous rental at cruise America which had 140,000. With this rental, I got five extra feet, slide outs and all the bells and whistles of a modern coach. Oscar, who did our check in, was also great. He took 30 minutes to show my son and I each and every little thing about the coach. Even did the awning with me 3 times to make sure that I got it right. Overall, great experience and a great company with an owner who really cares. read more

The proof of a relationships is when something goes wrong. My dear wife thinks this is the last time we rent from Share My Coach. So, we'll make this a short story. This is our second rental from Share My Coach, as noted in last year's review, Share My Coach did a wonderful job getting us into the right coach and straightening out the insurance problem we had (thanks Gina). The team did a great job showing us how to use the 34 foot Class A motor home we rented for two weeks. Leaving Saturday before Mother's Day and heading to our first stop at Phoenix airport to pick up friends coming in from the UK, the engine's starter breaks at 7pm, our motor home no longer motors, our friends are stranded and we're stuck at the Burnt Wells rest stop 70 miles west of Phoenix.... bummer ... What mechanic will come out to the rest area on a Saturday night? When will parts be available? The nearest town is 20 miles away, our Internet connection is poor and without a decent Internet connection we are unable to find local RV mechanics. We call Share My Coach and Joe, the owner, responds. He agrees to reimburse us for the repairs and gets us the phone number of several mechanics. Finally one answers and agrees to come out, Saturday at 9pm. Our friends check into a Phoenix hotel for the night, the mechanic looks at the RV and he agrees to come out Mother's Day morning (he's got 7 kids) and finish fixing the RV (his glowing Yelp review is next). And we're back on the road again, Sunday noon. Mark, a Share My Coach's salesman, warned us a common time when a RV is damaged is just before it's returned. So, heeding his warning the last night out I back into a space a little to close to a tree and damage the paint. So, how will Share My Coach respond? Will they charge exorbitantly for the paint, $500, $1000, more!? Let alone the turn signal which someone broke when we were parked. They have us over a barrel, what will the repair cost? Two weeks later, $217 charged for paint repairs, starter repair refunded, quite reasonable. So, why is my wife, once again, wrong? Share My Coach did well by us, refunded our repair bill, charged us reasonably, why not rent from them again? She thinks we're buying a coach this year and we'll rent it out through Share My Coach. I think we'll buy next year. read more

All I have to say is I've had nothing but great experience renting motorhomes come share my coach show the owner was very polite and has always been good to us and I never had any problems with any of the motor homes that I've rented however you have to keep an open mind as to motorhomes to break down times. read more

ShareMyCoach is an awesome way to have a great vacation. First I want to say the family of RV owners who allow other people who cannot afford an RV but have the chance to rent one are just amazing. My wife and I have owned our own travel trailer years ago and wanted to have another RV vacation. I went online and found ShareMyCoach. We found that the reviews were great and the the inventory was great for our needs. The price were fair but the service and cleanliness of the RV's made up for the cost. I first call and spoke to Edgar. He was very polite and we discussed my online RV choices. We found the perfect fit for our towing capacity and booked the 24' Wilderness trailer. I asked if we could come and see it so we could plan our Trip. He was encouraging me to do so. My wife and I went down and Edgar opened it up for us. I was very happy to see how nice the RV was. My wife and I as clean freak and we we shocked how clean and smelled so nice. The owners of the trailer must have a lot of trust in ShareMyCoach to keep it so nice. We proved all the insurance and documentation and waited for our trip. I called a few days before our trip and spoke to Jose. Jose was so nice and friendly. We talked about to time to pick up the trailer and he came in a half hour earlier than they opened to get us going on the orientation and check out. This process was longer than I expected and more thorough than expected. However I would have not felt better when I left with the RV after the inspection. We found a few things that were not expected that I would not want to be charged for. The inspection process is very important for the rental and you as the renters need to know everything about the rental RV. Jose was very accommodating and Edgar showed up to help us get on the road. These two guys work there butts off for all us rental folks. The staff that cleans these units dose a fantastic job. I had met the owner of ShareMyCoach Joe several years ago and new that he would make this a great family fun way to enjoy our great country. When my wife and I decided to rent an RV for our summer trip to Yosemite we searched many online RV rental places. Some of these names you may be familiar with and after doing some research we found that many of these big name places have many hidden charges such as 200 dollar cleaning fees and surcharges for running the generator! and good luck if you go over on mileage as they will charge you 89 to 1.29 per mile over. Being a finance guy I did the math and it comes out to about double the price you pay! Mark Lund was great to deal with and he is passionate about finding the right coach to meet your needs and is very patient in helping you find your perfect RV for your needs and your budget! I don't like to leave negative reviews but I feel it's important to give a heads-up to other vacationers. My husband rented 32-foot trailer from Share My Coach, Stanton, last weekend. We were going to spend the long weekend relaxing in the high desert. When my husband went to pick the trailer up, it wasn't ready and he had to wait for two hours while the guys did repairs. This delay in our departure put us in peak traffic most of the way to our destination. Once we did arrive, we began encountering problems: The outriggers wouldn't drop, they had to be hand-cranked; the water tank was empty and the oven didn't work, to name a few. The next day, my husband drove 30 minutes to the nearest town, bought a large container, filled with water, drove it back to the trailer and siphoned it into the water tank-- about 25 gallons of water. It was then we discovered but even with water in the tank the pump didn't work so we couldn't shower, wash our hands or our dishes using a faucet. We had to rely on the drinking water we brought with us for the small tasks and forgo the showers altogether. This got old. If we had wanted to dry camp we could have skipped the trailer completely. When we returned the trailer to the yard on the last day of our trip Edgar was apologetic and told my husband that they would settle up the following day, adjusting our bill because of the difficulties we'd encountered. The following day that offer was rescinded and we paid full price-- over $600- for the use of a trailer that was in poor repair and inadequate function. We were disappointed with this experience. If this had been our first trip out it probably would have been our last. Fortunately it wasn't our first time renting a trailer but I guarantee we will not be renting from Share My Coach again. Be advised: customer satisfaction is not their specialty. read more

We rented a 31 foot C class RV for four days from Share My Coach. We got great instructions from Mark on how to operate all the equipment. The rental process was easy and the staff was very helpful. Our coach was clean, but well used. We had a wonderful time and had no problems with the coach. The brakes were squeaky but we were assured by the mechanic that they were ok. The only thing I was disappointed about was the lack of cooking utensils. When we returned the coach we mentioned it to Joe, the owner, and he said he was very sorry that the coach had not been checked more throughly before we got it. He assured us that they are usually in the rig and gave us a $75. credit off our next rental. Over all we were satisfied with the service and the rig we rented. We would rent from them again, but bring our own pans, bowls, etc. read more

My wife let our daughter use are credit card to rent an RV 12-28-2917 to 1-1-2018 We just found out today when she called the cc company to ask where her bill for this month was they told her that someone called in and changed her address but couldn't tell us what address so funny that that address change was done 12-28-17 and my wife doesn't use the card that often and this was the only transaction for the month really scary if share my couch sells and trying to scam people credit card it had to be them pretty stupid of the cc company not to ask for more info before changing your address so someone can order things and ship to them self while we never get a bill We will never recommend share our couch be careful with cc at this company read more

We had a great experience renting a travel trailer from ShareMyCoach. Rodolfo helped us find a couple options that would be well suited to be towed by our Grand Cherokee. We ended up with a 23' Salem Cruise Lite. Rodolfo was quick to get back to us through email to answer all of our questions and get the paperwork submitted. The entire process was quick and simple. The team took extra care to ensure that our midsize SUV could safely tow the trailer. We spent a few days up in Santa Barbara and the trailer worked perfectly for my wife, two sons (1 year and 4 years), and myself. Setting up the trailer was easy after the walkthrough instructions we received when picking it up. Everything in the trailer worked as expected and you could tell it had been taken care of, it was also very clean. Edgar helped me with the return which went quickly and smoothly. We were asked multiple times by different employees of how our trip went and if we had any problems. You can tell that they really care about our experience and want to make sure their rentals are in good working condition. I've rented from the larger companies who plaster their branding all over their rentals. I can say that ShareMyCoach was better when it came to the experience, customer service, options, quality, price, and ease. We plan on using them again in the future for some trips toward San Diego. I couldn't figure out how to restart it, and was nearly in tears when I decided to try to call ShareMyCoach. Great experience!! Just rented the 29 foot tango travel trailer and went to Pismo beach for five days and stayed at the Pismo beach RV resort. Was very surprised on how clean and well-maintained the trailer was for being a rental and being a few years old. We have rented an RV from SMC for the passed two years and have had a wonderful time both times. We haven't had any troubles with the RV so I can't comment on that, but the service was very friendly before and after. They did check over the RV thoroughly when we returned, but it wasn't like they were nitpicking every little thing. Honestly, I can't think of anything to complain about SMC. I'm sure we'll be back next year and since we have had suck good experiences, we are now talking about taking more trips than the annual one we already do. read more

This review is for the RV sales portion of share my coach. I did not rent an RV from them. I saw a trailer posted online for sale that I was interested in. After messaging back and forth with Federico, I didn't get very straight answers from him in regards to the condition or features of the trailer. I was interested in the trailer, but wanted to make sure it didn't have any apparent leaks or water damage before I drove an hour to see it. He avoided the question about the roof and stated that the delamination on the front was not from water damage. My wife and I decided to make the trip out to check it out because they didn't indicate there were any issues with the trailer. Boy was that a mistake. There was no generator, there was extensive water damage inside and out of the trailer. Honestly, if they would have just told me straight up, I would have moved on and went on with my day. It was very shady of them to hide the obvious deplorable condition that the trailer was in. I wouldn't buy anything from these people and I'd impore you to avoid them due to their shady tactics. read more

We first stopped by, just to check things out and Joe Sr. was great, spent a ton of time with us and let us poke around as much as we wanted. Outstanding Experience ! We've rented RVs for the Nascar Race in Fontana for the past 15 years and this was by far the best rv renting experience we've had. The coach was in great shape, there were no hidden costs and when we did need some technical support not only were we able to get a human being in the other end of the phone, they arrived within fifteen minutes to handle the minor problem. The pick up and drop off system was very smooth and the fact that you prepay for cleaning and dumping saved us the hassle of having to do it ourselves. Well, I have to say my experience of Joe & Gina Hill couldn't be more opposite of the previous reviewer's. I looked online about two weeks before the Labor Day weekend and filled out online forms for estimates and also called a few places. Share My Coach was the cheapest and Joe Hill was the only one who picked up the phone when I called. The other two places didn't even get back to me. We rented from Friday the 4th to Tuesday the 8th, with a courtesy pick up on the night of the 3rd. We originally were going to pick it up at 7p, but my husband had a scheduling conflict. Joe was nice enough to let us pick up a little earlier in the afternoon around 4p on Thursday. During our trip, I called Joe a couple of times and he answered the phone both times. The first time I was a little confused about the hook-up for power. He walked me through it until I got it working. The second time I called was at 4:30AM!!! We couldn't get the generator to work and my husband was certain we'd blown a fuse. Again, Joe answered his phone (at 4:30 in the morning) and walked us through the procedure. It turned out to be a switch by the door that someone had accidentally hit with their foot and turned off. I felt bad about calling him, but he said we weren't the first to have done it and definitely wouldn't be the last. This is what he does for a living! I can't say enough about how impressed my husband and I were with Joe's customer service. He and Gina really made an effort to accommodate us. I highly recommended ShareMyCoach. This was my 1st time renting an RV and doing an RV trip. I was referred to ShareMyCoach by my brother in law, who has been renting RVs from them for last several years. I rented the Mercedes Forester 24-foot (diesel) for Zion / Bryce / Lake Powell road trip. We had a few other families rented from the same place as well for the same trip. The RV was comfortable for family of 4-6. We didn't encounter any issues with the RV. Before picking up the RV if this is your 1st time in an RV, I would strongly recommend to watch all the orientation videos from ShareMyCoach on YouTube, they would really help to get you familiar with operating RV - this was very crucial for me, it will also help to cut down the check out time when you come to pick up the RV. Edgar was very helpful and courteous at check out / check in the RV. Rodolfo was very knowledgeable on RVs on site and helped us to choose the RV. Rented a motorhome from this outfit over the Thanksgiving holiday and what a mistake that was. Edgar my sales rep was great but the coach, absolutely a pile of junk. That coach should not be rented out. And for $359 a day ?????, It wasn't worth $100 a day. First of all the A/C did not work and where we went it was 95*. The front A/C worked slightly but with the ducting connected to the whole coach it barely cooled the coach to 90*. It deemed the inside unlivable during the day. On Thanksgiving my wife had to battle through it to do the cooking so we tried running the coach engine all day using the dash AC as well. This brought it down to a steamy 85* but we didn't have much choice. My wife was pretty miserable to say the least. I drove to a nearby town in hopes to buy a few fans at no success. At night, we couldn't open all the windows because some of the screens were missing and we would have been eaten up by mosquitos. The table would not open so we were limited to 2 people sitting and eating together. The couch foam was so soft your butt would hit the bed frame underneath and after 5 minutes you couldn't sit anymore. The compartments underneath were so disgusting and smelled absolutely horrible, almost like animal feces. Be careful and stay way clear of the 40' Tuscany read more

Had a great experience. Trailer was clean and in great shape. Very helpful getting me up to speed on the operation of the unit. The Trailer I originally reserved, needed repairs 3 days before our trip, they set me up in another unit with almost identical layout.
