July 2025 my wife and I bought a 2020 Trailmanor QD from Custom Rv. We found a quiet but very helpful man named Scott. He was very knowledgeable about travel trailer in general and especially in regard to the Trailmanor. We purchased the Trailer on consignment from Scott. He never once gave any sales pressure, that is not his way. After buying the trailer on consignment knowing that this is as is. We found the refrigerator wasn't working. We brought it back to Scott and he replaced it for us. After asking him how much do we owe he said that we owe nothing. He did these repairs on his own. My wife are so very happy we found a honest man and want to highly recommend using him for your trailer maintenance. If you are in the market to buy a trailer. We purchased a TrailManor 2720 from Scott back in January and I can honestly say it has been one of the best decisions we've ever made. We've taken it to Mammoth, Sequoia, Kings y, a couple local campgrounds, and best of all Yosemite. We have a lot more trips lined up too. Scott is an amazing person. The whole purchase process was super easy and streamlined. We had a couple problems with the trailer after our 2nd or 3rd time using it and he fixed them all for us super fast without charging us though I did insist. He's a family man like me and thoroughly understands that these trips in our trailer are important in creating lifelong memories so he has gone out of his way in helping us. Scott is the most knowledgeable of any RV repair person I have met in the last 30 years... By far. Most of the places you go have some service writer that doesn't know a whole lot about anything write an estimate and you never get to talk to anyone that is actually going to do any work on the RV... With Custom you get a much more personal experience speaking with the people that are actually going to do the work so the chances of miscommunication or things being lost in translation from a work order vs what you directly tell the person doing the work (or show them yourself) is all but non-existemt. I was hesitant to hire Paul because of the cost. However , I also know that detailing and waxing an RV is specialized and damage can be done if it isn't done right. We traded in our pop up trailer for a beautiful 2017 KZ Sportsmen Bunkhouse trailer. We are in absolute love with our new trailer! The kids are super excited and love their full size bunks. Brian was great! He showed us around at a lot of different bunkhouse trailers, showing us all the different options. He was very informative. We have a 2007 Fleetwood Acadia Pop-up Tent Trailer. Two years ago, we pulled into Convict Lake Campground. Tried to raise the roof and only 3 corners wanted to go up. AH-O! Shut the trailer, homeward bound and after a few calls, we were directed to Mike Thompson as they used to sell this model. $750 and a month later, they had it working. Fast forward two years. We are north of Eureka, BAM! Same thing!!! Wright RV in Eureka was able to give us a work around, so the trip was not ruined, but it needed a REAL fix. Got home, called Thompson, left messages, (luckily) no one would call us back. Phone calls to other RV repair shops led us to Custom RV. They were the third repair place to tell us the prior repair was done wrong. That became very evident when the squeaks & groans were now gone. They did a great job at a VERY fair price. Couldn't be happier with the trailer I purchased from here. That's where my 2 stars come in. Had I known how how terrible the communication was going to be (after I already purchased the trailer) I would have really reconsidered. The dealbreaker on this review comes the horrible phone and email communication experience I had with Zach (finance?), which is very upsetting considering how much time I spent with sales searching for the right trailer. Over a month passed after I bought the trailer and come to find out I needed some really important bank loan information from him. Day after day calls were made trying to reach Zach - each time all I got was " He's on a call right now", or "He's busy with a customer, but let me get your number and I'll have him call you right back". No callback. Called next day, same response. Day after day, call after call and nothing. Seriously???? On top of that, I was sending emails to him...no response. I couldn't understand why he was ignoring me on such important information I needed. I took this a little personally. This was such a simple issue that could've been handled so differently. So unprofessional. Thank god I didn't buy the extended warranty. Imagine If I needed repairs done? It would've been a nightmare just trying to get a hold of someone. read more

Last year I picked up a real nice 2001 Trail Manor (if you are looking at popups, skip those and go first class with a TM). Took it one year later to RV Custom to have a trailer hitch put on the back to haul bikes. Also fixed a bunch of little things, and put on a spare tire. I told them I wanted it completed by today (they had it three weeks) and they did! They also spent some time showing me everything they repaired, so I am happy! Thanks guys! read more

We went to several RV dealers before stopping at Custom RV. The employee was pleasant enough though it took him a while to find the correct key to open the Trailmanor. Each time we wanted to look at another model it required the same long hunt for the keys. We were completely underwhelmed with the fit and finish of the trailermanors. This dealership hadn't cleaned them up and, as is often the case with Trailermanors, they were overpriced and we found - overrated. This visit took place in the summer of 2016. We ended up buying a used Fleetwood Saratoga 2008 via Craigslist. It fits in our garage and none of the interior moulding was coming apart unlike the used Trailmanors which were on the lot though they were several years younger than the Saeatoga. This dealership was not in the nicest part of town. While driving to the dealership we drove past an abandoned structure and watched a guy stealing materials. read more

Matt and Garret provided us with exceptional customer service today as they repaired our Chalet xl1935 trailer. I would highly recommend custom RV for any RV repair. Update: Unfortunately still very leaky. They did offer to repair free of charge but they are almost 2 hours away. They sent RV sealant for us to try on our own at our request. Dissapointing result given that we left the camper with them for so long, seems like a garden hose leak test might have been a good test. read more

Kiddos to Zach and crew for honesty and integrity. There are more good people out in the world than we hear about, Custom RV is a prime example: personable, honest, does what he says, and wants to do the best for his customers... we brought in a tent trailer for info on water damage inside. Zach and his technician walked around the trailer with us and pointed out areas we had not seen. He gave us an estimate for repair and an option to sell to him. Terrible! Bought a used RV there and was given a week notice that we would be picking it up. Showed up and it was not ready and no one had any idea about the appointment we had had for a week. There was dirt and gravel inside (it had not been cleaned at all) and none of the fluids had been changed (like I was told they would be). I would not recommend this place and I will never go there again. read more

We bought our first RV from Custom RV in 2006. We used the Chalet RV and had it serviced at Custom RV. We were pleased with both the sales process and the service. We recently returned in February 2018 to Custom RV and traded our Chalet in for 28 foot trailer. Brian was our salesperson. He listened to our potential use for the RV and the amount of money we had available to spend. He showed us two trailers that fit our needs. We selected one and purchased it. Custom RV has great customer service. Prices are very competitive, too. Gena was helpful during our decision-making process, and they even drove a TrailManor out to our house (almost 1 hour away) to make sure it would fit in our garage with the A/C unit on top. That sealed the deal, and we decided to buy it. So glad we did - we love our TrailManor! When it was ready for pick-up, Garrett spent a couple hours with us, showing us how everything worked. BEWARE OF THEIR SERVICE. We took our Trailmanor to this location and they totally screwed up our rig. When we arrived Gena took our information down. Maintenance and then we requested to have the electrical line redone due to damage, we told Gena 3 times we did not want it cut and attached at the front of the rig. We had other small items that we asked to be done. We specifically told Gena we did not want any additional screw holes made in the rig. We took our unit in on 3/28/15 and informed Gena we did not need it back until the week of 5/25/15 - no rush please take your time. On 5/11/15 we received a quote on the service we requested which was a fair price. We emailed back and forth on 5/12/15. We were told we would hear back next week when done. On 5/20/15 we received a call that add'l issues arised. We reviewed the issues and had 3 of the 4 items added on. We were informed the rig would be ready Saturday. When we went to pick up the rig, they couldn't find our wheel, the electrical line was DONE THE WAY WE DID NOT WANT IT DONE, they put sealant on the AC unit (now damaged), they were supposed to only do the skylights which was done so horribly and all the service guy could say "it doesn't look pretty, but nothing will get in there". They left the propane on, lost the breakaway clip. This is what we saw before we got it back home. Upon arriving home we opened our rig and I could not believe the HORRIBLE job they did. They are supposed to replace velcor, they did and made it worst by creating bubbles in the interior. They were supposed to reseal all the seams, they did but this must have been done so quickly that the seams were already coming up. They are supposed to check the batteries for water, they did but did not refasten the batteries back down so they batteries were bouncing around when we were driving home. They left fingers smugs all over the inside of the rig. They we come to find out that the bath enclosure is now cracked. When I called and asked to speak to the owner, a man by the name of Matt said he was the owner and I explained to him about the bath enclosure and he replied "that always happens on those units" Hey MATT IT WASN'T THAT WAY WHEN YOU GOT IT. Now found more issues -a leak in the propane line, the floor heater is not working. I don't know how people are recommending this company so highly and they are even recommended by Trailmanor, which I am going to be communicating with them as well. The reason I delayed this Yelp, I wanted to wait till the season ended to see what other issues we have. I felt like I was dealing with a 3 ring circus and they just did a rushed job overnight even though they had ample enough time to do the service in a professional manner. Matt had the nerve to tell me that the individuals who worked on my rig have been with him for 19 years. Well guess what THEY SHOULD BE FIRED for what they did to our rig. We don't know how much we are now going to have to pay to get our rig back in the shape it was before taking it this SO-CALLED SERVICE. It was more like DISSERVICE. Think twice before going to this place - I guess I should have looked around before leaving my rig, the property looks like a hoarders yard. read more

We purchased our 2417 Trailmanor from Custom RV Sales and our experience was very good. We were not pressured into buying our TT, and Matt gave us a very good deal (I've been looking at these TT for the past 3 years and they had the best deal). I highly recommend Custom RV sales for anybody looking for a great recreational vehicle. BTW, we love our Trailmanor, and camping is so much better with an RV. These campers are awesome, comfortable beds, they even fit in your garage (Storage Fees: $100 dollars a month x 10 years = $10,000 you save. And your camper doesn't get damaged from being outdoors). They are roomy, and easy to tow too and I get between 17-18 mpg towing mine with my Nissan Frontier. read more

I brought my 5th wheel to Custom RV so they could sell it on consignment when I moved out of the area. I was not expecting a sale until the following summer season so the length of time it took was not an issue for me. Gena and the crew got me the price they promised, fixed what needed to be fixed on the trailer for a reasonable price, kept me updated on the progress of the out-of-state sale and handled all the paperwork so it was a really easy transition for me. They were so friendly and easy to work with; it was definitely the right move to have them help with the sale. If/when I have to buy another RV I would go back! read more

I don't think you will find nicer people than these, that's UNTIL you drive off the lot. Hollywood should take lessons from these guys. Afterwards, good luck! It's a family "business", basically husband, wife and some repair guys in the back (which I have to admit seem (which is a very relative word) very nice). The wife is a receptionist, secretary, accountant or whatever/all of the above. I was WTH when she gave me an attitude on the phone after buying a $28k 2016 KZ Spree TT which is full of problems (and not all are the manufacturer's fault) that just keep piling up. You won't believe what the guy said, "it's normal to have problems in the first few months", some guy. Speaking of price, the guy very firmly didn't budge one bit, and it is known that you should not agree on a price unless it's at least 20-25% off of the MSRP (the real, not bogus MSRP), my bad there, we really liked the floor plan, outside and inside design and features and couldn't wait to find this or a similar trailer somewhere else. Their customer service is pretty much non-existent. You will never be able to talk to a tech guy. The owner, pretends to have technical knowledge, but he doesn't really, just the bare minimum (I'm pretty sure I now know more than him), he's a salesman, and a pretty good one if you know what I mean. It's really hard to get a response from them (forget calling, the wife will probably tell you "we can stay on the phone all day" like she did to me), whether by email or text messaging (they're busy selling). You are never going to get any apologies, understanding, consideration and compassion from them, except for the typical "bring in the trailer, we will be more than happy to service it" ha. I remember when we went to see the trailer (the 1st or 2nd time), some child (of one of the guys) was going in and out of our trailer like it was some playground, unbelievable, no wonder there were scratches on the table, toilet seat, glass shower door, dents, marks, etc (besides those made by other customers and workers). And did I mention that there are very few KZ dealers and KZ offers no mobile repair, besides the fact that they (KZ) have 3 (yes, only THREE) customer service reps who likewise, almost never return your phone calls or emails, they have very little technical knowledge, in other words, again, you'll get zero customer service. Folks who travel a lot whether with work or for fun, know that most of the time it's impossible to bring in your camper to the dealer you bought it from (not that I would ever have the desire to) or to any dealer. I could almost write a book, but I'll just say one more thing, when they were preparing my trailer to sell it to us (they installed solar panels and controller), they had absolutely no complaints, everything was dandy (it was going to be pay day), but wait until I started complaining, then the complaints from the guy started pouring in, like, "you shipped out to us your own solar controller", "you wanted bigger solar panels", and on and on, kind of like they had worked for free or something. And wait for the excuse, when I said "but your name is Custom RV" (and they are, like I said, they install solar panels and whatnot), the guy said, "that was just a name we picked up many years ago". What a piece of work. I should've gone with a different manufacturer and dealer, live and learn. Update: so, the guy leaves me a voice-mail in which he (a salesman) calls my review incoherent lol (I don't think he knows what the word means), and of course they have zero fault, "they've been asking "like forever" for me to bring in the trailer" (washing their hands of the multiple other things I mentioned above), zero apologies as expected, and "they want to do everything by the book". Too little too late (considering all the problems, my trailer would probably be in for "service" for a month if not more which I simply can't afford). Unbelievable. I'd rather take my trailer to Dumb and Dumber. read more

Dog Owners Beware! Customers Beware! My wife, daughters and I wanted to look at trailers at Carls Acres of Trailers (maybe it was acres at one time, now it is probably Carls Acre of Trailers) and we had our dogs with us. As is usual in Ontario, it was over 90 degrees. We parked in a shady spot on their lot (not in one of their 8 designated parking spots that were in the full sun) with the idea of leaving our engine on and A/C running. We wanted to take a quick look at some trailers. Here is what transpired: Salesman Brian - "You are rude. Do not park here. Park in one of the designated spots". (there was only 1 other car on the premises). Us - "We have dogs, it's hot, we'd like to park in the shade. Do you have a place you would prefer that we park?". Salesman Brian - "you have to park in one of these spots here". Us - "it's in the son. We have dogs. Can we park in the shade somewhere?" (there is alot of empty room on the lot). Salesman Brian - (becoming "unglued", as described later by the owner who said that his salesman had a right to provide poor customer service and become irate at us). "I don't care about your dogs. You must park in one of the 8 designated parking spaces. I want you to leave our premises immediately". This was the worst customer service experience my wife and I have ever had. We wanted to write about it. We notified the owner that the salesman could have simply asked us to park somewhere else on their large, primarily empty lot that was in the shade but he wanted to abuse his power instead (somewhat like a security guard) or perhaps he had been drinking and that this behavior seemed to indicate a disgruntled employee who may be trying to sabotage the business. read more
