Boba excellent, tea excellent wait time not excellent. Online ordering is average could be better

Pretty hipster boba spot in Cerritos by all the other boba places and cool spot to eat at. Not too hard to find. Lots of parking lot in the front but it does get busy. Place is big a spacious in a large plaza. Nice and easy atmosphere when you walk in. Menu is pretty decent and you'll have your share of tea, coffee, or even cocoa. The cashiers are pretty friendly and will go over couple things if you don't know what the menu is about. I just wanted to go for a typical drink so I went with the jasmine green tea cream. I gotta say I was in for a surprise because their tea have a really strong tea flavor, not bitter and perfectly sweetened where it's not too much. The gf had a simple milk tea and even that was good! Our friends ended up with couple other drinks from the menu and I got to sample them, and also good! Overall I'd give this place a 5/5 stars due to the fact that on top of being spacious and hip, they do focus on the craft of their product. It's been better than most boba places I've gone too. I love this place. I wish there were more locations but I'm always in the area to grab a drink here. This is by far the BEST milk tea place I've tried. My favorite is the oolong milk tea and the Okinawa. The price is fair and I love their stamp card program. Service can be a hit or miss. The lines can get extremely long and it's frustrating because they only have one cashier. Still worth the wait! read more

To say that I am obsessed with this place is quite the understatement. Everyone knows a cup of Sharetea will put me in a better mood instantly. TIP: be sure to keep your name ticket to claim your drink. Come here as often as you can, it'll save your life. Recommended drinks: 1. Hawaii Fruit Tea (my all time fav, I've had so many I'm sure I'm from there now) 2. Coffee Ice Blended with Ice Cream 3. Strawberry Ice Blended with Ice Cream 4. Thai Tea (so happy they finally added this) Drink options: I appreciate the less ice and less sweetness options. I LOVE that we can now order through Yelp for pick up in store! Lifesaver! Wait time: there is ALWAYS a line out the door! Honestly worth it though. It just shows how amazingly delicious this place is!! Seating: they are definitely outgrowing their space. I think they may need to rearrange their layout because you have to squeeze your way in and out and then again to get your drink when they call your name. Customer service was great. The girl at the register was very patient and informative while I was trying to choose a drink. I have two small kids so I usually order one drink and have them split into two cups. When I asked her of the special request she let me know that per policy she couldn't personally split it but that she could give me an extra cup and i could split it on my own and she would still be able to seal both cups! This was amazing! I also liked that while paying I wasn't pressured into a tip because it wasn't even an option on the screen as every other boba place is. The boba was the perfect texture and had the best sweet taste. I got the black milk tea for myself and the kids. My mother got the blended coffee which she only has great things to say about. After drooling over their IG my sister and I really wanted to try Sharetea! We found ourselves in the area and came in during a busy Saturday rush, I will say that the line looks intimidating but they get it down quickly, the hardest part is waiting for your drink. Everything is made fresh and your waiting for a freshly made drink tailored just to your specifications (ice, sweetness level, add ons) There's so many drinks to chose from! I wish they would have had better descriptions of the drinks, we didn't know what some of them were and what the creama consisted of, we found out the hard way (sea salt cream topping) I can honestly say this was some of the best brewed tea I've ever had! It tastes amazing!! Unlike anything I've ever had, you could taste the quality of the tea! I went for the Fresh Milk tea, with regular ice and 100% sweetness, I loved my drink except it wasn't sweet enough, it was super faint but I enjoyed the fresh milk and tea combination. My sister says her Matcha creama was just okay, the match was a bit gritty and the creama didn't go well. If you do like the sea salt type thing then you will enjoy it LOL. She claims 7 Leaves has the best matcha to her. Mom's Hawaiian Tea was different but she really enjoyed her add ins, boba was fresh and not hard LOL. This place was packed (Sunday afternoon). Service was fast. Just don't lose the ticket they give you. Cause when they call your name and you don't have the ticket. They will think you are a thief. I was given the dirty look. Luckily, I found the small ticket. Most cafes just call your name and you're good to go. The first time I was there, I ordered the Hawaii Tea and it was excessively sweet. I couldn't finish it. After the 5th sip, I thought my teeth was going to fall off. This time, I ordered the classic milk tea with 50% sweet. It was good. read more

Really cozy place! The workers always do their best to make your drink to your liking, especially with their customizable sweetness levels and their amounts of ice. They have a really big menu, but the staff is ready to answer any of your questions or even give solid recommendations. There's a few tables here and there, but the way the store is set up makes it awkward for people to sit down and have a long conversation with their friends when there's always people darting past you to either order their drinks or pick up their drinks. The line was very long since the orders were coming faster than the staff could produce. The milk tea was on point. You can request for less sweet and for less ice. Line is out out the door on summer nights but that's because they are consistently good. Sharetea is one of my go-to places whenever I want boba in the Cerritos area. I try to get different things on the menu whenever I go, but my favorite drink is the okinawa milk tea and I get it like, 1 out of every 3 visits (LOL, so much for exploring the menu). Drinks and boba quality are consistent; the drinks are always delicious and the boba always comes in the same, chewy texture (unlike some places where you can tell when they're not using fresh boba). The prices are good, and the workers are always really friendly, but it's packed a majority of the time. It can take up to 30 minutes to get a drink because the line gets really long at certain times during the day. They have stamp cards, but they expire within a few months of starting one, so if you don't visit too often, it'll probably expire before you earn a free drink. read more

Hands down the Handmade Taro with boba here is the best thing I've ever tasted, and it's what I always get when I'm here or craving boba. But the line is a real bitch though, so you really got to commit to you're boba cravings in order to suck it up and just wait in the line. read more

Lots of people, long lines usually, but it goes quickly and it's well worth the wait. My favorite is the Happy tea that comes with a whole lot inside like red bean, boba, jellies, etc. It's like eating a meal in a drink. The staff are quick and friendly and will fix things easily if you are not satisfied. I recommend adding a scoop of ice cream to any boba drink. Trust me, you will like it! read more

Boba tea shop is located in a big shopping plaza by Sprouts and a variety of restaurants. It can get quite packed and crowded. There is not a lot of room to sit and chat inside the shop, so it is more of a stop and go kind of place. They have a variety of drinks from milk teas that include ice cream to fruit teas. The staff is friendly and the drink orders come out pretty quickly. I usually get the passionfruit green tea because I usually like my drinks on the sweeter side, but went for something different today. I got a honey lemon green tea with aloe vera. The drink tasted like lemon water with minimal sweetness (and I didn't ask for it to be less sweet or anything). The sweetest part of the drink was the aloe vera, which was faintly sweet which contrasted greatly with the drink. I probably would not get this drink again and will stick to the usual drink I get. read more

I love this place. One of my favorite boba spots. I have not been disappointed with any of the drinks I've tried so far. I love the taro fresh milk and honey milk tea the most. The fact that they have ice cream as an add on is a definite plus! No other boba shops around does that. Service is always friendly and fast. Came here on Easter... bad idea. The line was out the door. Last time I came here I never saw the line out the door. They had this special promo going on during easter, maybe that's what caused the long line. Took me about 30 minutes to order my drink and another 5 minutes to get my drink. I got the passion fruit tea with yakult. I asked the girl at the register if it was too tarty, and she said that it is tarty, but it's popular and everyone gets it. So I decided to get it assuming it was good. Boy did I wish I got a different drink. I wasn't a big fan of it whatsoever, it was way too sour and tarty for my liking. I was hoping for tart and creamy flavor but it was far from that. I took 2 sips and realized I couldn't handle the flavor, so I went back inside to ask if they can change it. I asked one of the workers if I could change my drink... he didn't look too enthused that I was asking for a drink change, but he let me change my drink. I ended up getting the taro milk tea, which was pretty good. They must not get a lot of drink changes here... I get it, it's busy and it's always annoying having to remake a drink, but just put up a nice front, it's what customer service is all about. I definitely like this place, will come again for boba. I will make sure I get a drink I like on the first order so I don't get attitude from the workers. read more

TL:DR - Great drinks. Interesting atmosphere. Questionable consistency. Long lines. Bad Parking. I wanted to give Sharetea 4-stars but after multiple visits I just don't think I can. While I do believe it is one of the best places to get boba around the area there are just multiple factors that have made my visits less than ideal. The selection here is really good. I particularly enjoy all the "crema" options (half sweet). They've all been made well and very refreshing and not too rich. Every drink sounds pretty good when I go and I always have a hard time choosing. The yelp check-in discount is a nice option, too. The way the shop is set up is interesting. A lot of the room is taken up by big couches and chairs. I feel they could utilize the space better...but it is more comfortable to wait for drinks (which you will be waiting, but more about that later). I always get 50% sweet in my drinks here. Granted, all drinks are different and have different recipes it would be nice to have some consistency. If a drink normally already has minimal sweetness in it I think it would be nice to be notified of such. For example, I got the Taro Fresh Milk half sweet and it almost had no flavor at all. However, when I get a milk tea half sweet it's perfectly sweet. While not particularly the fault of the employees, it would just be nice to know so I don't waste a drink. WARNING: bring cash. There is an extra charge on cards unless you spend over $5...which, unfortunately, is more than any single drink. If you're going by yourself, bring cash (unless you want more than one drink...which no one is judging you for). I will try not to go into much detail about this, but the line for this place can borderline on ridiculous. Last time I went, I waited over half an hour for ONE drink (from the moment I got in line until I walked out the store with my drink). There is no food being served. There are no tables being waited on. Just drinks. There should not be a line that long, yet most of the time I drive by there is. Often times the long wait times will completely turn me away from even going to Sharetea. Parking is also an issue. I believe there is construction going on still in the lot. Usually I will just park in the back, a little behind the Nine Seafood. Those spots are usually open. I would definitely suggest Sharetea to anyone who wants a good cup of boba...but until the waiting time decreases and they become more efficient it is hard for me to justify not just going to another place. read more
