Prepare to be nickel and dime'd On 7/21 at 6PM, my wife and I went into this ShareTea because of the great drinks and experience of other ShareTeas. We exchanged pleasantries with the cashier, she took our order, she offered recommendations, we order a Thai and Black milk teas with Boba. Great experience so far. Drinks came, and my wife noticed that boba wasn't included in her black tea. No biggie, easy fix. She brought this to the attention of the person that made the drink, that person brought it to a male cashier with glasses that I can only assume to be the lead or manager. At this point all service was stopped, all the customers in the building were now looking to see what the commotion was. The "lead" then interrupted the new customers order to ask the cashier we talked to if we asked for boba. I honestly felt bad for that customer. It was cringe worthy. The cashier responded with "yes" and gave a "I made a mistake grin". The "lead" then yelled over to us, "well she didn't charge you, do you still want it?". My wife nodded. The "lead" said "Well it's gonna be .50 cents". Like really, 50 cents? You're going interrupt your cashier and new customer's order, to nickel and dime us for that boba when it was a mistake committed by your employee? Okay. At this point so much commotion has been made for us to not say yes to charging us 50cents for the boba. Transaction completed, customers halted, and we leave. After walking a few feet outside we decide that our ShareTea experience has been ruined and we no longer want this boba drink. My wife politely returns to the ST to request a refund. No apology or responsibility is said to her for the mistake, neither was there and questions about why she was returning the drink. It was honestly the coldest and most awkward transaction I have ever witnessed. I have worked in the service industry for 10 years. I learned early on that if my employee makes a mistake, you have to make it right. People come for the product, they return for the experience. I added a Star for the product, and 1 for the hard working employees, and none for the management on duty that needs a refresher in customer service. read more

ShareTea is much better than Cha for Tea :) both in taste and price. The teas are amazing. I'm so glad I don't have to pay another 50 or 75 cent to upgrade size because they only have one size, which is pretty much a large. They have plenty of options in topping. I love the fact they have mini bobas. However, there are no flora teas. They even have a stamp card, buy 10 drink get the next one free. Would definitely come again! read more

Tried the honey milk tea boba here - the milk tea is great! I love that they use non-dairy creamer in their milk teas (with the fresh milk teas being an exception). However, their boba is a bit hard and isn't very chewy. This sort of took away from the drink overall, but I'm assuming it's just a luck-of-the-draw sort of thing that we arrived on the night their boba isn't the best. Overall, the drink was okay. I came in on a Friday afternoon and as always this Sharetea location was busy from the high influx of students from UCI. Waited in line until my turn to order and handed the cashier my card and rewards card for stamps. However, since the cashier just came from making drinks, his hands were wet and sticky. He decided not to clean his hands before taking me order so he effectively contaminated both my credit card and stamps rewards card. Aside from this unfortunate experience, the drinks at Sharetea are pretty good, I recommend Wintermelon tea, or Okinawa milk tea with ice cream. Ps: I ordered Wintermelon tea which has no toppings, so one would expect to get a thin straw but the barista hands me a thick straw. Pretty disappointing. read more

Went for a boba break at Sharetea on a balmy weekend afternoon. Located in the shopping center across from UC Irvine, it is a nice location to sit and walk around as well. The menu was pretty extensive, but I ordered a milk tea with whole milk and boba, and the honey black tea with boba. The honey black tea was initially made with milk, which I did not order, but the workers kindly remade it without milk in a short amount of time. The milk tea with boba was pretty sweet though I ordered it with 1/2 sugar, while the honey tea was refreshing. The boba, however, was quite bland, particularly compared to other regional boba shops. Sharetea oh sharetea, how you have rekindled my love of boba. I thought lolicup and class 302 was what boba was supposed to be. But I didn't know better, until I went here. I swore off boba for the longest time, tired of the ridiculously strong sugar flavors which overpower the tea. But sharetea, you can CHOOSE YOUR SWEETNESS! I always go 50% or 80%, depend on my cravings. But tbh, I just LOVE the tea flavor. Wintermelon tea is ON POIIIINTTTTTTT. I wish you opened just a little bit earlier, I like to get sharetea before pokemongo community day, but it opens at 11 so I gotta sacrifice a bit of community day time to get tea (even though it really doesn't take long). This place always has a long line, but it's understandable because it's right next to UCI. There are no seating areas, but there is some space for people who are waiting for their orders. Their milk is dairy-free and they have a bunch of options on their menu. They added some symbols to indicate which ones are popular drinks. I tried their Matcha Red Bean and Hawaiian Tea on different occasions. My boyfriend tried the Taro Milk Tea and we both didn't like it. We liked the Matcha and Hawaiian ones better. I prefer to get their mini boba sizes rather than the regular ones. I would probably only come back if I wanted a drink with a mini boba. read more

I don't know why people complain about the long line and wait time because it's a popular spot. Unpopular/popular opinion, I like sharetea. I was in Irvine visiting UCI and was really craving boba. I got a Hokkaido Milk tea, one of my favorite drinks. I actually liked it a lot. The drink looked nice and it came out relatively quickly considering how busy it is. I mean it's on a college campus. It's a good place to study for a test. This place is so great for gatherings as seating is also very good. I wouldn't get drinks from here over Omomo but if I just want a drink quick and easy this is the spot. I also found that this place has a lot of locations and one closer to my area so this is an A-Tier go to spot. Overall the drinks were very decent but not the best. Don't get it twisted drinks were still good. Line could've been shorter but the tone they take to make is good. A great spot. read more

I've been going pretty often since it opened and initially I really liked the variety, quality, and customizing options. Last week a group of friends and I went and got the iced coffee beverages, they literally tasted like seaweed/burnt because the coffee was over-brewed. Reluctant to go back since the green tea beverages also have a gnarly seaweed taste sometimes. I'm not sure if it's being done already, but it wouldn't be a bad idea for baristas to taste check the drinks before handing them out. read more

Being next to UCI this place is always packed but they always carry out drinks pretty quickly and I honestly don't have complaints! Sharetea has the most authentic boba milk tea I've tried so far in LA, their boba are cooked to perfection and the milk tea are rich and delicious, a must try place if you're ever in Irvine!! read more

I've been here three times in the past two weeks. The drinks are consistently good. I've tried the classic black milk tea with boba, and the matcha milk tea with boba. Even with 100% sweetness it's not as sweet as I like it so I ask for extra sweetener. The best thing about Sharetea is that there boba pearls are not too chewy, they are perfectly soft. There's never a long wait and they give you a stamp card so you get a free drink after your 10th order. I'm sure I'll get there very quickly. read more

I was so excited to see that a Sharetea opened in Irvine! No need to go all the way to the Santa Ana location anymore. I got the Classic Oolong Milk Tea with Boba with 80% sweetness and less ice. The boba was perfectly chewy and sweet, and the milk tea was good too. The regular size is fairly large, so I think it was worth the price. Sharetea has stamp cards, but it sucks that they limit each stamp card to the specific location you start it at. Other than that, it was a great first experience, and I can't wait to go to this location more often. read more

I am so happy that a Sharetea has now opened close to me in Irvine. In the Bay Area, I was a huge fan of Sharetea for the size of their drinks and the amount of boba I receive. This location is just as good as the other ones I have previously visited. I usually get an Okinawa Milk Tea with Pearl and it is always exactly how I want it. I love the consistency of ShareTea and that no matter what time I come or who is making my drink, it is always a great option for my boba craving. In comparison for Cha, I am a big fan of both options, but I prefer the amount of boba and size of the drinks. Overall, I'm definately excited to go back. read more

Finally!! A good boba shop near UCI. I really love their drinks, esp their wintermelon creama, but this place makes it sweet/too creamy so I have to ask for adjustments for it to taste normal. Seems like their measuring is kinda off but not really a problem since I'm sure their workers are new and learning as well. Hopefully this place becomes more consistent as time passes! read more

This might have been the worst experience I've ever had trying to order for my daughter with Celiac Disease. 9 employees within eye shot and not one of them could give me allergen information.
