We've tried so many different drinks here. Can't go wrong with any choice, unless you have a preference. There is mobile order, kiosk, and ordering directly at the register. I will say they messed up a mobile order of mine once and were really nice about fixing this for me despite I already left the store. Drinks are always made quickly, fresh. There can be a wait on a busy day/evening. Tea is good, lots of customization, quantity and quality of toppings are worth it. A staple boba shop I always come back to. read more

Very disappointed by Wushiland today around 3:30 p.m. When I received my drink, I immediately noticed that it looked like I had received about half the amount of QQube toppings I usually get. Whenever I order from Wushiland, the toppings typically reach around the part of the cup where the word "boba" is printed. Today, there was noticeably less. I politely mentioned to the staff that I frequent Wushiland and that they typically put much more QQube in my drinks. The staff member told me they put one scoop of toppings and that they had done that for my drink. While I understand that there may be a standard serving size, it was frustrating to hear this, especially as a loyal customer who has several photos of my previous Wushiland drinks showing significantly more toppings. I also had another frustrating experience while my drink was being made. I could hear the staff discussing that they were starting to run out of the drink I ordered. Instead of letting me know, they added more ice to my drink, even though I specifically ordered it with less ice. I would have much rather been informed that they were running low so I could decide whether I wanted to make a different selection. I'm not sure if this was an issue with the staff working today or if something was different because of the Labor Day holiday, but the overall experience was very upsetting. I'm especially disappointed because I've had several positive experiences at Wushiland in the past and have always enjoyed coming here. Now I'm pissed and going to Heytea. read more

Great boba! No complaints and definitely come through if you're looking for boba after shopping at 99 ranch! Placed our order at the iPad/kiosk situation and within minutes, my order was ready. There's a long bench to sit at inside against the window, and there's a tall counter where you wait for your drink! I got half sweet and probably should have gotten a bit more because mine was a bit sour, but that's what you get with passion fruit sometimes! I love these cup sizes- I feel like they are way bigger than the average boba cup size? and I usually get TP Tea, which has smaller boba, so it is nice that these tapioca balls are so big! This location is in the corner close to 99 Ranch Market and Tesla superchargers, and right behind the 5 freeway. The ambiance inside is pretty trendy, but the service today was subpar- I was not greeted until she finished wiping down all of the drinks, and she just said, "Did you order yet..." so, definitely customer service could be worked on, but my 50% sweetness Earl grey milk tea was superb. read more

This is by far our favorite boba shop!! Consistently good- you can taste equal parts tea and non-dairy milk (yes I'm lactose intolerant)! Sugar and ice levels can be adjusted. The best part is the toppings! The mini bobas are perfectly chewy (but not starchy). Then of course the real reason why I come here 2x a week is the red beans add-on! Most boba shops don't have red beans. My go to order: green milk tea with no sugar and added red beans (no blended). If you're feeling brave, add grass jelly or mini bobas! Trust me! Wushiland was one of my favorite boba shops in college and when I heard they released taro drinks, I had to try! So far I've had the taro green tea oat latte and the taro black tea oat latte with less sugar. They both tasted so good! The tea flavor is strong in both and the taro has a nice nutty flavor. This boba spot is tucked inside of the orange tree square shopping center next to 99ranch. I got the Uji Matcha Latte and it was good! The matcha flavor is apparent although perhaps a little artificial. It's similar to the matcha latte at sunright tea for those that are familiar. It's nothing extraordinary but not bad either. It was a rainy Sunday and my son and I wondered into this fine establishment to try and find yumm drink. The location isn't too large, but there is a nice bench that for people to sit while they wait for their drinks. Another day, another boba joint to try. Lol Since a few of my fav boba go-to's have closed over the years, I've been on the massive hunt for a good replacement & the next best place. There is interesting decor, as I don't understand the fish mascot, but the place is well lit. Lol We were offered service right as we walked in the door and the staff was friendly. When I try new boba places, I always order my usuals, so I have a better compare point to my "controls" (aka Boba Guys, OMOMO, Orobae, Gong Cha and Cha for Tea). This first time, I ordered a Jasmine green tea with mini boba. Honestly, the mini boba enticed me & got my foot in the door cuz I absolutely LOVE them, but hardly ever find them at boba shops. At first sip, you can really taste the good quality green tea. The mini bobas were perfection. Just the right chewiness. I also appreciated the generous amount that they give you too! This is the second boba shop to open up in the 99 Ranch plaza and it's a nice alternative to the always busy Hey Tea. It's a small shop with no tables and only a couple benches to sit on while you wait for your drink. You can order from the kiosk or the register. It's usually not too busy and the drinks come out quickly. They have milk teas, fruit teas, yakult and brown sugar drinks and even ice cream drinks. I wish they had more fruit tea flavor options. I've only had their Roasted Oolong Milk Tea ($5.24) and Orange Grapefruit Green Tea ($6.74). Both were pretty good at 70% sweetness. The best thing about this place is their toppings. They have regular boba as well as mini boba ($0.80) and you can even mix them. They're also very generous with the amount of boba. It's a good place for boba if you love boba. read more

There's two iPads in the store to order and you can also order upfront if you need to, but they're often busy making the drinks behind! Inside is small but has a nice vibe and a bench for while you wait. One pro of Wushiland is they don't skimp on the toppings! They add a lot that almost 1/3 of the cup is filled. One con is that the boba didn't feel fully cooked. It had that hard center unfortunately! Hubby and I popped in for an after-dinner treat. We saw someone ordering at the counter with the person so we went to the kiosk to the side to get our order in. We were really glad, too, because literally moments after we walked in, a bunch of people started walking in. We thought we beat the crowd. And it got crowded! But nope. We watched as party after party received their drinks after us. I checked up after about 12-15 drinks were served to people who came in after us (some with similar orders to ours). I finally checked in at the counter and the guy located my drink, which I noticed had been sitting out for a while, alone. He asked the staff about hubby's drink and I think someone finally started on it at that point?? We waited a while longer, as more drinks continued to get pushed out and I followed up again and it looked like the person might have set aside hubby's drink and didn't finish it up until the counter guy asked again. It was confusing and weird and the guy didn't really say anything about it or apologize. Just handed us our drinks. He seemed also puzzled as to why the drink wasn't done. By the time we left, there were only a handful of latecomers waiting on their drinks. Honestly, I probably can't give an unbiased review on the taste of the beverages as I was kinda bothered by that experience. Hubby loved his drink, though, the Ovaltine Macchiato with ice cream added. The thing was literally 1,000 calories! (does not factor into my review lol). I ordered just a low sugar Assam team which tasted normal and refreshing. The place was nice and bright but does get crowded. Jasmine milk tea with mini pearl boba, half sweet - yes, please! They nailed it. It reminds me a lot of TP Tea (also in Irvine on Main Street), which is a major compliment. I especially appreciate that the cup is filled all the way to the toppity top - no skimping here, and I love that. Yesssss. Right as you walk in, you're greeted warmly, which already earns the place extra points. It sets a welcoming tone before you've even placed your order. Ordering is a breeze thanks to the self-serve kiosk. You can take your time browsing the menu without the awkward pressure of a cashier staring you down while you panic-scroll through your options. Now for the drink: The milk tea is splendid, light and floral flavored. The mini pearls are chewy, sweet, and taste absolutely spectacular fresh. My personal tip - once it hits the fridge, it's not going to be the same. So sip sooner than later! One small heads-up: the music can be really loud. My friend was craving some caffeine, so I went with a few friends to try boba at Wushiland. I ordered the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea, while my friends got the Green Milk Tea and the Orange Grapefruit Green Tea. The Roasted Oolong Milk Tea had an unexpected garlic-like flavor and a chalky, powdery texture. My friend who ordered the Green Milk Tea also noticed a chalky, salty taste in hers. The Orange Grapefruit Green Tea at 100% sweetness with mini boba and coconut jelly, was good according to my friend. She enjoyed it and said she might try it at 70% sweetness next time.
