Seriously, this place has the BEST tea. My husband and I are big bubble tea people and make a drive from Richmond to Chinatown, Bellaire, and Sugarland on a regular basis to find tasty tea (sometimes that means driving over 30min for a perfect cup of bubble tea). What is tasty tea? It has to have the right amount of sweetness to balance a fresh quality tea you can taste, and whatever flavor you choose to add should be there to the last drop. Sometimes we each get our own tea and other times, like today, we want do a share tea split cup. This place has ALWAYS done an amazing job whenever we order a split cup giving us two full spilt cups with perfect sweetness! None of the other Sharetea franchises do this, even when we request a better quantity in our split cup. Our go-tos are mango green milk tea or ginger milk tea. Both at 30% sweet are perfect! I came by the other night for a Mango/Passionfruit tea and was so disappointed. It's rare that you can mess up a fruit tea that bad, but I was taken aback by how insanely sweet it was. Knowing how sweet Sharetea serves their drinks, I had ordered my drink with 80% sugar because that usually hits the spot with it not being too sweet without compensating the flavor. Anyway, I received my drink and it tasted like it had 110% sugar that threw me off. My boyfriend also ordered the Hawaiian Tea, which was a surprise drink since we had no idea what was in it so we were up for an adventure. Little did we know, it tasted awful. The drink was fine in flavor, but also extremely sweet, even more so than mine (he asked for 50% less sugar). What we hated was the kumquat bits in the drink, or at least that's what I think it was. That drink just wasn't for us, and we don't blame Sharetea for that, but the staff needs to be aware of the amount of syrup/sugar they add. Boba was good, but the sugar content in the drinks was as if the staff didn't really care enough to adjust to customers' requests. read more

My favorite boba shop by far; I've been to many different boba places and Sharetea has the best tea as well as the best tapioca pearls. The service was great and welcoming even amidst a busy line, and the drinks were speedily made. The environment is very warm and friendly, and it's a great place to visit with friends and relax. Came here Sunday afternoon after having a delicious poke bowl next door. The sharetea in Chinatown is always great so I thought I'd give this one a try. Right away, I realized there was a huge crowd so I knew there'd be a wait...after waiting more than 15 minutes, they finally called my number! Yay! Except NOT. The server tried to give me a random tea with NO TOPPINGS. I knew the order was wrong because I had ordered 2 drinks, one QQ happy family and one green tea with bubbles for my bf. I told her hey...this isn't my tea. I showed her my receipt and she grabbed it over and mumbled something about their sticker machine being broken. UMMM, maybe you could apologize at least??? Finally, after waiting another 10 minutes or so, our drinks are finally ready. The QQ happy family was good and I enjoyed all the toppings. HOWEVER, more than half the drink was JUST ICE?!?! I literally finished the entire drink after maybe 5 sips. Is it just me or are their cups smaller than other bubble tea places?? I've always heard Sharetea was good, but since the other locations are far from my home, I hadn't been before. This new Katy location is really convenient and I'm so glad there's one here now! Okinawa Pearl Milk Tea - the flavor of this milk tea is unique because of the roasted brown sugar. Unfortunately, this is one of the few drinks you cannot adjust the sweetness for. While, I did enjoy the flavor a lot, after a while it did become a little too sweet. Coffee Crema - the crema is really interesting and I'd definitely recommend trying it if you haven't yet! The taste of the cream on top is kind of in between salted caramel and cheese; it's hard to describe but it goes really well with the coffee. They give you a little plastic knife to cut a slit on the edge of the lid so that when you drink it, the coffee flows up and mixes with the crema. read more

I am a milktea lover, normally get Sharetea 2 times/week over the past year. But today, I am very disappointed with the staff/ a guy who made my drinks. I came in around 11:30am, there is only me and 1 other customer behind me. I ordered 4 drinks. The guy made my drinks put 4 cups on the counter, without cleaning outside the cups, the tea is all over the place, very sticky (which the old staffs ALWAYS CLEAN). Then i asked if they have a bag. Normally they put cups in a tray automatically if i ordered more than 2, or at least they will ask if I need one. The guy, without saying a word, throw the tray on the counter, THEN WALK AWAY! I have to put the drinks myself into the tray. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICES! I dont mind if I did it myself, if they are busy, or they could at least tell me. My Okinawa today is tasteless as well. Don't know what is happening. I don't want to come back here anymore. read more

Okay. I told the guy that I want Fresh Milk with Brown Sugar BoBa. Later I got Fresh Family Milk with all of the different toppings..? meh, don't want to complain. Second, I paid money for my drinks with friends and stay for couple of minutes, then I went to restroom. After 10 seconds, I haven't do anything yet, one of the girl with black hat who is their employee (my friends see who is she) try to open my door even tho she KNOWS that it's locked!? I don't go to Sharetea that often, but I have to say that the last two times I came here were disappointing, especially since I had given a good tip both times only to have less than satisfactory experiences. A few weeks ago I came in and tried a Wintermelon with Lemon Juice and added aloe vera, and drove halfway home before I realized there was no topping in my drink. (The aloe vera is translucent, so it can blend in with the tea color pretty well.) I turned around and went back so I could get the topping I paid for and the staff kindly replaced my drink. This weekend, I went back to Sharetea and ordered the same drink, and this time they put too much ice! The tea itself was gone in like four sips because the cup was 75% filled with ice. A few other people's reviews on here have mentioned excessive ice level, so it seems like they still have a problem with that, in addition to inconsistent quality. While the drinks are enjoyable if made right, this location definitely needs some improvement. read more

Great System in place!! my 2nd visit ordered whole lemon tea with Aiyu jelly. This is a very tricky drink, adding a "whole lemon" which takes up a lot of space and plus ice. Not much space for the tea and juice. Skin of lemon makes the drink a bit bitter. I wouldn't recommend this drink. My go to drink keeps this review rating at 3. When I came in there was a line, and I was expecting (and perfectly understanding of) a long wait. When my drinks were finally ready, one of my drinks was missing boba pearls. I politely asked to add them and they refused without charging extra. The employee who rang up my order forgot to include the extra boba. Then another employee said he took my order and I was lying about asking for extra boba (even though he wasn't even the one to take my order). I paid an extra 75 cents and they added boba. This is my drink place of choice in Katy Asia Town cause the workers are friendly and it's convenient to come study in. I would really really recommend the wintermelon milk tea! I love how Sharetea offers wintermelon as not every boba shop has it. The tapioca is always the perfect consistency with the perfect amount of bite and chew.
