Came here last night for pie. They were so welcoming and amazing. It was 3 minutes to closing and I thought we would have to get our pie to go, but they say is and served us. Came back this morning for breakfast. The same great service. The food is great. Well three is not a charm. Went in for breakfast today, they seated us in the skinniest booth they had. Let me give you the one positive experience which was the waitress Rachel was very nice and attentive. The food was awful. My dining partner was convinced the scrambled eggs tasted powdered. My hash browns had a metallic taste. The sausage was burned around the outside and undercooked inside. The bathroom was disgusting, the toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. On a cross country road trip and stopped in to relax and have a relaxing meal. I should've known that this wasn't a good place when we asked the waitress what she recommended. She recommended the chicken strips and fries. My nephew and I ordered a burger, loaded, hashbrowns, side, salads, and I ordered a potato soup and coffee. The salad was fine. The potato soup was absolutely disgusting. It was separated and you can see the oil and it looked curdled. When I notified the waitress, she said "yeah sometimes we save the soup from the day before and when it's reheated, they add water and it comes out gross, but I won't put it on your tab". Really? Why would you even serve it to me? This really pissed me off. The burgers were fine, actually quite good. I did order a coffee and she served me a lukewarm cup of coffee and said."This isn't that great but I'll get you some more". What does that even mean!!!??? After taking a sip, clearly it was very old coffee. I waited 15 minutes and then had to ask her if she was going to give me fresh coffee? She had completely forgotten and we were ready to leave. First of all, there should be higher standards. This restaurant clearly needs to be shut down. My nephew asked her if there was any more chains of restaurants, and she said that they were part of the chain of Coco's and Carrows restaurant......a dying company! Food tasted good, didn't have to wait long. My only complaint is the portion size on the potatoes and the $1.50 for bacon, cheese, and green onion. Seems unnecessary for how little they had to add because of how little potatoes I was served. read more

Excellent customer service here on the day I stopped in for lunch! The food is great and they have wifi too I ordered the chicken Caesar salad and a fish and chips to go. The fries were awesome and word on the street is that the fish was good too. read more

We have been in Twin Falls this weekend for a soccer tournament. We have eaten at various restaurants with various degrees of service and quality of food. After winning the championship we wanted to eat before leaving town. We ended up at Shari's and was greeted by smiles. We are a group of 19. We were treated like the first time that we weren't a nuisance. Becca got our whole group started and then Pam took our table over. Hands down the best service we had the whole weekend. My brother and I were craving dessert so we decided to stop by. It has been a while! The service was fair. The waitress wasn't very attentive. We ordered chips with salsa, queso and guacamole. The chips were pretty tough, the guacamole was decent. We also ordered chicken quesadillas, that was probably the best part of the meal. I also ordered a chicken noodle soup. It was extremely salty, with a muddy taste. I only took a few sips and that was it. When the waitress came by I told her it was too salty for me. She didn't offer me anything else in exchange such as a different soup, didn't offer to take it off the tab. Lastly, I ordered a peach pie shake. I'm pretty disappointed by the service and quality of food. I'll never come here again. read more

Yo! I just came in to get some pie slices to go. The young lady did not wash her hands or put on any gloves which is fine if she could have managed to get the pie into the containers without touching them. But she totally raw-dogged my pies with her fingers that have been God knows where. I said NOPE. I watched her put her FINGERS on my PIE. Where else have your fingers been??? Yikes. Now I'm sad and pieless. I guess I could have told her to wash her hands and give new slices but after seeing that it makes me wonder what goes on when the pies are being made. read more

No compliants with the food but the service was terrible. Carrie is a grumpy old lady who we rarely even saw. Took forever to get a refill on cofee and water. We ordered a milkshake and we waited a while for it, which she completely forgot about. what a waste of time. Wow, horrible service! If you're on your own evidently Shari's doesn't want your business. I went in this morning for breakfast. Maybe 8 tables in the restaurant. Greeted and sat right away, brought my coffee quickly. Took my order and left me alone until my meal was ready. Great, no complaints. When Jayda brought me my meal my coffee was almost gone. No refill, no check back, 3/4 of the way through my meal someone else finally brought me more coffee and then I saw Jayda again. I was all but finished eating before she ever checked on me, before I got a coffee refill. Jayda apologized, she got busy. Isn't being busy kind of the goal for a server in a restaurant? I saw her refill coffee at tables near me but couldn't get her attention. I paid almost $17 for breakfast and had to beg for coffee. The food was alright...T-Bone was a bit gristle ridden and the fat wasn't rendered, but otherwise tender. The filet side of the T was no more than 1/4 inch wide, so that's disappointing...more bone-in strip than T. Potato came out room temperature. How do you mess that up. Service was awful...never checked on us, didn't bring what we asked for... Pies look decent, but we took it home because of the service and I haven't tried it yet. 2.5 stars. Went expecting our usual Sharis experience. In town from out of state. The first 4-5 items we ordered off the menu the waitress stated they "were out of bc the cook doesn't want to cook them". When we asked "What DO you have available?" The waitress proceeded to get super snotty and snarky with us and in no way were we rude or disrespectful to her. When our food finally arrived it was incredibly overcooked. The "specialty burger" by teen son ordered was so overcooked he couldn't chew it. My second son ordered a club sandwich in which he found a hair. I ordered the wedge with no vinegarette, substituting blue cheese. It came out with Italian and a side of blue cheese. The waitress stated "the cook screwed up, do you want me to change it?" Yes please. It took another 25 minutes to get my salad in which time my entire party was finished eating. We wanted pie for dessert as we heard it was great, but chose not to partake bc of the immediately previous experience. Very disappointing. read more

This is a nice, friendly, very family-oriented restaurant. It reminds me of the former Yum Yum Tree and the current Anna Miller's restaurants in Hawaii. My wife and I first went to Shari's in Bellingham, WA. We try to go anytime were traveling in the NW and find one. For this visit, I purposely had a salad to make room for pie (Wednesday is free pie slice with an entree). I actually ordered two slices, but was given three by a really generous waitress. From out of town visiting Twin Falls. Waited 10 minutes to have order taken then went up to host to see if we could get a server, waited additional 5 minutes, a young woman with an attitude asked us what we wanted to order, 1 chefs salad, 1 ribeye slider, the chefs salad had shriveled up grape tomatoes, sweaty cheese strips, sliders were good, fries were good. Never was offered a refill on ice tea and were seated in the back corner where no wait staff walked by. Finally another server came by and apologized for delays and mix ups, I asked for more ice tea, he said yes, then took my plate before I was finished with my dinner....apparently I was done. I went with the Northwest Berry trio pie à la mode. It was wonderful. I could've used more ice cream though. I guess that keeps pie as the star. Honestly, the food is similar to any diner ( Denny's, etc.). My review is for the bakery. Their pies are fabulous!!! I'm a dessert snob, and their pies make the cut. I brought home 4 marionberry pies to freeze (they're my favorite). While there, we ordered the coconut cream, and the blueberry lemon sour cream. Each pie filling was perfectly tasty. Creamy for the cream pies, and plenty of fruit in the berry pies. The crust is nice and flakey. Wish there were Shari's near us, but will keep visiting when I am in town. read more
