It felt like stepping back in time -- I haven't seen one of these in years. Walking in was like entering a time capsule. If you haven't been before, take a look at the menu ahead of time. You order at the counter, and they bring the food out to your table. My wife had the fish and chips; she said both were a little overdone. I went with the steak, shrimp, and chicken combo, and added the salad bar just to see what it offered. The steak had good flavor but was tough, and though I ordered it medium rare, it came out closer to rare. The shrimp -- three pieces -- were slightly overcooked but still decent. The chicken was a patty topped with ham and cheese, and it turned out pretty good once I dipped it in the mustard sauce meant for the shrimp. The service was solid -- the lady working the floor came around at just the right times. Overall, it was a nostalgic experience, like visiting a piece of the past. read more

We always go for the salad bar dinner, which includes baked potato, texas toast, chicken wings or tenders, three choices of soup (clam chowder usually very good) and ice cream. We get filled up and the quality is very good. read more

The steak was cold, I was shorted on fries, and the salad was super hot and dumped in ranch dressing with cheddar cheese- this was a Caesar salad. I also got shorted on shrimp. Nothing tasted right, I did get my money back but it made me very very sick, I didn't eat the salad had only a few shrimp and only ate a few pieces of the steak. Nothing tasted right. Around 4am I had the worse case of food poisoning. It's was horrible, I couldn't get out of bed unless I had to run to the bathroom.. and I know the difference between being sick and food poisoning. I've always enjoyed Sizzler's salad bar, but the location in Twin Falls is the absolute best I've encountered so far. I've been a couple of times since moving to the area - the selections are always plentiful, there's no wondering if they'll run out of anything; they have more things I like than other locations - Chicken wings, crab salad, bacon Broccoli salad; in general it just seems cleaner than other locations I've visited. I'm sure this will be a regular dinner stop for us when we've got a hankerin' for a good, healthy meal. read more

So, the food choices in Twin Falls are seriously lacking. Fast food after fast food after a few random places that people who are unfamiliar with it won't try. Kevin's extended family is rather large. His grandmother was the eldest of 5 girls and all of their husbands, some of their children and grandchildren were also in town for the funeral. Long story short, most of them spent their restaurant time at Perkin's and I was so grateful NOT to have to go to Perkin's that well, just know that all of my reviews are due to lack of personal choice! This Sizzler is fairly large and the salad bar is laid out differently than the ones we have been to in Pinole or Albany. The food took a lot longer to arrive than it should have, and when it was finally delivered, it was done so by the manager who admitted the cooks dropped the ball on cooking our order and he ended up giving us some free meal vouchers for future visits. This would never have happened here. The extra star is for this (we gave the voucher's to Kevin's brother b/c they were not good in CA). This is the Sizz. It is okay, not great, but again, anything has to be better than Perkin's! read more

I love Sizzler! This location did not disappoint. The steak was cooked perfectly, and I ordered steamed broccoli as a side and also the salad bar. Sizzler in Twin Falls has some great dinner deals. When you walk in to any sizzler location, the ambiance is relaxed and welcoming. The floors are clear of any debris and the tables are cleaned right away. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the hostess Alisa who had a great attitude and we placed our order. Tonight I decided to go with their special (steak with a side of mashed potatoes and salad bar) and I was beyond impressed. Before we got our food, we visited the salad bar and let me say that the choices they have are phenomenal! Every bit of their salad bar selection was fresh and it is very well organized. Not feeling a salad? Make yourself some tacos with another separate selection along the salad bar. The steak was delicious and the mash potatoes were creamy. The food was brought to us by a server named Justin. The food was brought to us fairly quick. Our server Diana with a smile on her face and was on top of things. Very seldom do I visit a place where your server actually brings you another beverage before you run out. We finished our evening with a bit of ice cream. Overall our visit to this restaurant was very pleasant, I was 100% satisfied! They provide exemplary service and should be proud of the people they have working here.
