Driving through town and found this place this morning. Greeted by I'm assuming the female owner. She said ok to seat ourselves. Young blonde girl brought our menus and took drink order. She couldn't have made us feel less welcome. Our waitress was a young brunette that made up for that behavior. She was nice and efficient. I had the Meat lovers omelette with side B&G. Great omelette, good biscuit with flavorful gravy. Sausage, bacon and ham were all quality meats. Great little place. read more

Excellent food & excellent service! Norm's was very busy, even on a Sunday afternoon just before closing. As an added bonus, they made us feel very welcome. The oyster stew was very, very good. The ambiance is like walking into a diner of my childhood. Perfect 4x2 (my vernacular) "Mel's Special" on the menu. Eggs perfect, pancakes perfect, sausage great, though pancakes were thick and fluffy ( my preference is for a bit lighter towards crepe on the batter spectrum". I've been a loyal customer of Norm's Café for years, but my recent experience was unacceptable. The woman who took our order didn't get everything down correctly, and what we received was wrong. On top of that, the food was poorly prepared--far below the standard Norm's is known for. This wasn't just a minor slip-up. It was a complete failure in both service and quality.If management is interested in knowing exactly what was missing and how the food was made incorrectly, they're welcome to call me. This was our first visit for a party of 7. We waited 30 min for a waitress to take our order and another 45 min for food while other smaller parties were served and ate and left quickly. We stopped by Norm's a couple times during our visit to Twin Falls as it was a quick, 5-minute walk from our AirBNB. Each time we came the service was good. We were greeted as we walked in and someone promptly came over to take our food and drink orders. One thing we noticed is that there's A LOT of regulars who come here (which is a good sign). Many of the patrons were greeted by name by the staff. The food was good, reasonably priced, and you're given a decent portion. It didn't necessarily blow me away, but it got the job done. I would definitely recommend Norm's. Especially if you prefer local spots over chains. This place is as local as it gets in Twin Falls. read more

Now for the Denver omelet review: This Denver Omelet.... Perfection. It is absolutely a blessing from Jesus. Perfect oil base, with fresh ingredients. Organized and presented with an evenly spread mixture of green peppers, onions, and ham. A light layer of cheese is added in the middle of the omelet which is a perfect ratio in relation to the rest of the omelet. Bread is smaller, but it does the job, and tastes great. Idaho is known for its potato's and this place makes a great hash brown to side-kick its amazing Denver omelet. This is the place, this is perfection in a Denver omelet. We stayed overnight in Twin Falls to break up a long drive. Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try for early breakfast. We were not at all disappointed! The place is small, very clean and quaint. The cook in back waved hello as we entered, and our waitress was cheerful and attentive. Not many customers at 0600, just pleasant locals getting ready for a long day of honest work. My wife ordered eggs over easy on bed of hash browns w sausage and gravy. Wow! Super fresh eggs, crisp, non greasy potatoes and tasty sausage. I had the twin pancakes w eggs. My eyes popped when the order arrived. The pancakes were easily the diameter of a full dinner plate! Fluffy and delicious. I took the 2nd one for the road. Endless coffee refills and very reasonable prices, too. We have Norm's in our Yelp collection now and we're sure to return on our next drive through Twin Falls. read more

I also feel weird about the price... the menu said the Sun Valley omelette is $11 and the "everything" omelette is $12. We ordered 2 sun valley and 2 everything. When I paid at the counter, they told me the price is $60.21 (cash price, and I eventually paid $65). Loved it! We were traveling through on a long road trip after a night of camping. We chose Norm's on name alone. It was exactly what we needed. We found this Cafe by accident. Our car broke down in Twin Falls and we were towed to the nearby Addison Care Care. So, while we were waiting for car repairs, the owner of Addison recommended Norm's Cafe a few blocks away. All seven of our family walked to the Cafe and found the most friendly competent servers as soon as we walked into the establishment. The menu has many selections. We tried the house special meat loaf and their chicken fried steak - the rest of our family had the burger and other items. All of it was excellent at a very reasonable price. What a fun dining pleasure it all become for us so it did't make getting broken down in Twin so bad. We spoke to a few locals who all frequent the Cafe. When I arrive we ordered our meals the salads came out pretty quick but then our food came out within having three bites.
