I ordered a small catfish dinner, specifically the steaks. However, the lady taking my order informed me that they didn't have any steaks only horseshoe catfish. I asked if the fish was fresh, to which she replied that it was. Accepting their availability, I placed my order. Once I got home and was ready to eat, I was disappointed that the fish was HORRIBLE! It was the tiniest and thinnest piece of fish I had ever seen; a piece of bread was thicker than I received. When I broke a few pieces open, I noticed that some parts of the fish had an odd color, which led me to believe it wasn't as fresh as it should have been. Saw some ads on social media, and the pics looked good, so we headed over for dinner. The first thing I noticed is that the front area is large, but only a few small tables line the walls. They really need more tables. And, they need more comfortable chairs. That being said, it was standing room only. We ordered the large chicken tenders dinner, which comes with 5 tenders, fries and Cole slaw. Everything must come with lemon pepper because they ask and the receipt says " no lemon pepper" if u don't want it. Hubby doesn't like it...I do. I wanted the nachos but apparently they are hot sheets instead of traditional tortilla chips. Hubby is very "gringo palated" so we didn't get those. I opted instead for the pick 2 dinner with 3 wings and 8 medium shrimp, which comes with fries and coleslaw. Lemon pepper for mine. We waited about 20 minutes. The food was pretty good. They should make better sauces. Onion rings taste like Burger Kings. The case has a decent amount of drinks and desserts, and they have frozen lemonade. The prices are a bit high. And, they don't have cod. They only have bottom feeder fish like catfish and tilapia so that's a bummer. read more

I called the restaurant and told them I ordered 2 large catfish filet dinners. He said if you ordered the filets that is Swahi. I told him that was not what I ordered. Went here yesterday for lunch, got a large catfish dinner and the food was so good! I live about 10 minutes away and the fish was still hot when I got home. It was 11:27Pm when I walked in the restaurant, a young lady asked me if I was picking up and I told her I was ordering in. She proceeded to tell me that she closed her register down in a rude manner. I was confused because on Saturdays they close at 12Am. I would go there many times when they closed at 12Am and every other nice young ladies I came across still had their register open. Im disappointed that this happened because of how late this business actually closes and she took the liberty to close her register an hour early or thirty minutes early. I asked for extra lemon pepper, they didn't sprinkle extra on there....the skin was falling off the meat which was weird...it made me think that they tried to re-fry old chicken tenders that had been sitting out and just serve them to whoever....I decided not to order them anymore. Fast forward to today and I ordered a chicken Philly.....I said bell pepper, onion, and cheese ONLY....they put EVERYTHING on my sandwich.....lettuce, tomato, mushrooms (which I absolutely hate), mayo, cheese, bell pepper.....maybe they put onions but I couldn't tell AND my fries were soggy! I don't think they care about customer service and the quality of their food....maybe business is great for them and they can just do whatever they want because the customers will keep coming back....but I know this, my ass won't be back! I picked up a catfish dinner here at my son's request for him, a few weeks ago. The menu was interesting enough that I kept it in mind to give it a try sometime. Well, today was sometime. I will not be giving them any more of my money -that's basically what I did today. I ordered 25 BBQ Party wings -small, mushy and just generally sub-par. I ordered the small Jack Salmon (Pacific Whiting) Dinner - smelled and tasted very fishy, again subpar. Just not worth the money spent. I ate less than half of it. I also ordered 10 pieces mixed fried chicken. Now, when I got back in the my vehicle with the food, the first thing my wife said was "It smells very fishy". Moments later she said "It smells like dirty grease too" Yeah -the fried chicken just reeked of dirty fryer oil, a few bites of each piece were tolerable, but overall it was dried and stringy -cooked too hard in dirty oil.
