This morning I stopped by "High Tide" in Pacifica, one of my favorite breakfast spots near home. I've been here a few times before, and the food is always consistently great. They also make an amazing mocha that I absolutely love. Today I decided to try something different, and it came with their house potatoes -- wow. Another disappointment. We used door dash today and my food was barely warm and I didn't get my toast! Usually DD food is still warm - we use it a lot - so I don't know who was at fault. Food hasn't been as good the last few times. I should write positive things once in a while but I'm usually mad when I write the negatives! read more

Service was Absolutely Horrible.. Food to be honest wasn't good super dry numerous mistakes with my order .Im a Vegetarian and there was ham in my Food .That's when I Just asked for my Money Back. This is an amazing restaurant that reminds me of a restaurant in my neighborhood of San Jose called Crepevine but it's a lot better because of the service and the feeling of being in such a restaurant and such a town of pacifica! I enjoyed a delicious crab pasta that had a three cheese sauce and enjoyed it in the back patio area that they called the oasis! They serve also quality coffee that has refills and came with a small dessert! I came here on Memorial Day and it was a little bit busy, it's first come first serve seating but the staff is super friendly and helpful! I just wanted something quick and easy to carry out. Opted for the avocado toast and willspresso. And let me tell you that I will be thinking about these two items for the rest of my life. The avocado toast was just loaded and had basil and marinated tomatoes. The toast was perfectly cooked, like didn't scrap up my mouth perfect. And the drink, I would say was too small. This place was just okay. I'm sure they have other good dishes, but the two I ordered didn't hit the mark for me. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be coming back. There's a small parking lot, but it's usually full, so you're better off looking for street parking. You place your order at the counter, get a number, and they'll bring the food to your table. Breakfast Burrito: I wasn't a fan. There was a sweetness, likely from the ham, that really threw off the flavor for me. On top of that, the burrito was wet inside, which I personally don't enjoy. Corned Beef Crepe: This was just alright. The corned beef had a flavor or spice I didn't particularly like--probably because I'm used to the flavor of Asian-style corned beef hash, so this version felt off. The fries were great, though--crispy and cooked perfectly since I ordered them well done. As for the crepe, it felt unnecessary. The filling was already folded into the egg, so the crepe just seemed like an extra carb that didn't add much to the dish. Overall, the food didn't work for my taste, but others might enjoy it. Six of us visited for Saturday brunch. While the parking lot was busy, the high turnover meant we found a spot quickly. There was a short line at the counter, which gave us just enough time to browse the menu. The staff's recommendations were spot on. I had the fish and chips; the fish was fresh and perfectly fried. While the chips were decent, I personally prefer them a bit crispier, but they were still totally acceptable. We came here today and ordered the pesto sandwhich w/fries. They were kind enough to ask if we wanted seperate plates. This spot is cute, and i like their outdoor seating area with heat lamps. Came here for a Sunday brunch with a group of 10 people and were able to find a seat immediately. Plenty of seating space with sufficient parking around the lot. Amazing spot for breakfast! My friend loved her French toast and my bacon and chicken apple sausage omelette was amazing :) the seasoning in the potatoes is perfection and the brewed coffee is a smooth medium roast that doesn't require a ton of cream or sugar. Highly recommended! read more

Four of us went there mid day. I got the breakfast burrito which I loved. Even though I ate the whole burrito (usually I don't ) it has not heavy and I really enjoyed it. High Tide Cafe and Crepery has been a favorite of ours since moving here to Pacifica. With a little one who's quite a picky eater, we really appreciate that this cafe offers plenty of kid-friendly options (and not just the usual mac and cheese or chicken tenders). The ambiance is wonderful, especially with its location right by the beach. There's plenty of parking, which makes visiting easy and convenient. Most importantly, the staff always make you feel welcome. They're warm, polite, and truly make you feel seen. What a cute little place near the water. The pasta was delicious. Honestly, I would skip the chicken it was hard and dry. The pasta alone was very good --- it would've been great if they had shrimp since we are near the water I feel like it would've justified it. The portion was really big, and enough to feed 2 people, I think. The turkey club was incredibly good. But husband really enjoyed it! It was paired with the fries, and they were crispy. Honestly, by the looks of it it looked like the best dish. I also ordered the triple espresso drink and Oh My God! It was beyond amazing. I wanted more! That I would say is a definite MUST! High Tide definitely feels like a place that either only locals go to or if you are already here in Pacifica visiting the beach. My fiancée and I went on a Saturday afternoon looking forward to find a brunch spot since we are never really in the area. Order at the front and you can walk towards the back to a nice outdoor seating area with heaters. We got the breakfast burrito and chef's crepe. Waited probably 10-15 minutes and the food was already on our table, so not bad for the wait time. Food wise, everything tasted just average. The breakfast burrito seemed a bit wet and had a sweet taste probably from the sliced ham. I couldn't figure out what it exactly was, but it tasted like an "at-home" burrito, something you could make yourself. The chef's crepe looked unique as I have never seen a corned beef hash crepe combo. My favorite type of corned beef is actually the one from the can, so that is my baseline. Theirs's was mashed/ground up similar, but I could taste some dried rosemary or thyme which threw me off. Pricing for both after tax and tip was almost $45.00. In small shopping center. Free parking in shopping center lot although some surfers took some of the space. High Tide Restaurant was one of the many lined up against beach back drop. You pick your food from menu board, pay, get your number, find yourself seating (either inside or outside). Outside is walled and covered against cold, there are even heaters. Environment looked very clean. Food is delivered by wait person per number sign given to us. Tuna melt with house potatoes tasted very good, good size sandwich. This cafe is a great choice for me simply because of all of the options. If you feel like breakfast, lunch, or dinner, they got it covered. The breakfast options are great, comes in large portions, and is cooked well. There is a back patio to sit in, an inside area, and a few tables outside in front, so there is almost always a place to sit. It gets a little spotty when it comes to service. You take a number to your table and then they bring the food and drinks to you. With this style of service you can easily get forgotten. They may never come refill your water, and used tables can get left unwiped or uncleaned. There are bussing tubs out back, so sometimes customers will put their own dishes in those tubs. So essentially we bus our own tables, and have to ask for refills, or more napkins, or anything like that. They're not really smiley welcoming staff, which is kind of a bummer since it's essentially a brunch place (yes they service champagne). The prices are also high, so I would like to get more table service since we're paying high prices like a place that has waiters. They're dependable and the food is good. I went here on a Sunday around 3:30pm and there wasn't much of a wait. You order at the counter and then seat yourself. They have indoor dining and they also have an indoor patio area too, which I thought was cool. I loved how stuffed my Florentine Crepe was. That crepe was very cheesy and came with a side of roasted potatoes too. The Fish Tacos were good and the fish tasted fresh. I'd recommend this place!
