I sent my husband in to pickup my order that was pre made. I got a text from staff saying that we needed to get there before 8PM as that department closes. He showed up at 7:58PM and was checked in same time. Waited outside in the spot for 10 mins before heading into the store and was met by the rudest shift lead . The woman working kept cutting him off mid sentence and just kept saying "they are closed and they close at 8PM" she then PROCEEDED to help another customer as if he didn't exist. He waited patiently for her to free up and he tried to explain that he checked in before they closed and she kept cutting him off and refused to let him finish his sentence. It was extremely unprofessional and lacked basic common sense to hold a normal conversation. He wasn't loud, he wasn't even upset when he walked in there: but the Lady who was running the express lane (possibly ) a manager needs complete retraining on how to talk to people. I was on the phone listening to her talk down to my husband as if we were in the wrong for showing up ON TIME - NOT when they were already "closed" . She would've known that had she just let him finish his very short and very simple sentence. I'm absolutely disgusted and I have shopped at this location for years. I will NOT be returning as the manner in which she was speaking to my husband seemed like she profiled him. I can't imagine why she would be facing customers with that attitude. read more

Today, 3/13/24, I had a wonderful experience!! A card I had in my basket, addressed and awaiting a stamp, apparently slipped to the floor. I checked at the service desk, and no one had turned it in. I left, thinking the card was lost. Back home, a knock on my door revealed the lovely customer service person I had spoken with an hour earlier. Someone had turned in the card, which she held in her hand. She dropped it off on her way home! That's gold star customer service!! And it's not rare at the Easton store. This is my go-to market: not overcrowded, clean, and great prices if you use their coupons app. Produce always fresh, good quality; service good to excellent on any questions. Too bad so many customers who have one bad experience take extra time for their reviews: I can get in and get out quickly, packagers listen to the way you want it, and in all, don't care to switch to a more frenetic, disorganized store. read more

Well, where do I begin? Oh yes! I've been shopping at Shaw's in Easton MA for well over 30 years. Last Thursday (day after Christmas) I went there and ordered 8 lobsters to be picked up New Years eve day at 1pm. The seafood manager also said she would give me Thursday's price of $7.99/lb. I go in to pick up my lobsters, go to the seafood counter and give them my name. The response from the worker was "sorry but all the orders seem to have disappeared". I look at the tank and said give me 8 of those. He said OK but they are today's price of $12.88/lb. I asked to see the seafood manager and he said she won't be in until 2pm. I then ask to see the store manager. This young 30-something with a beard comes out and says he can't honor the $7.99/lb price. I told him that's bullshit. He said you don't need to swear and I said OK, that's crap then. I told him to call the seafood manager to confirm my order. He supposedly did and said he still can't honor the price. Shaw's did this on purpose. The store manager figured why sell the lobster's at the price people were promised and sell them for more on New Years eve. This was very dishonest. I'm sure it was bull that the orders had been "lost". I told him well you also just "lost" a loyal customer to Market Basket. Even Big Y is better. Stay away from Shaw's unless you like the "Used Car" experience. read more

I went into Shaws to buy some coffee and I wanted to get some cash back. I went to the service desk and I have never been treated so poorly and rudely in my entire life. I've lived in Easton all my life and the young woman who is running the service desk at 10 AM Sunday 1/2 obviously does not like her job and should not be in customer service. I will never go to Shaws again. read more

I agree with Amanda this is a darn good store and a pleasant shopping experience. If a market serves your needs and is close by you win. I feel like I win shopping here. Friendly workers seems like they are at home, long time happy employees. Hey its air conditioned in summer, heated in winter, you get to chit chat with folks a lot, can people watch, grab a bite easily enough oh and this store has a Starbucks and the pay is OK. I'd be in a good mood too! This Shaws is located at what locals call 5 Corners. It features a huge never crowded parking lot that gets plowed out fast in snow storms. Trust me that is a plus. I have never seen the store so busy that it bothered me. It's spacious, well laid out with easy to read signage and great flooring not just concrete but laminate. Been coming here for years and since the upgrade with the store a couple of years ago the place rocks. For general shopping its great. Fish and meats are very good not incredible but AOK. Meats do BOGO's sometimes, if you pay attention to flyers you can probably schedule for it. A lot of stuff is discounted of course as it gets closer to expiration date so you can really do well that way too. Quite a few BOGO's in groceries as well so that helps. If your going bonkers and loading up heavy sure BJ's and Costco but for everyday shopping this Shaws suits me. Seems like the problems noted here are communication issues and seem to be dated at that. Personally I would highly recommend this Shaws. It is 5 times better than Shaws Cobbs Corner leave it at that. read more

They really need to start training the people up front a little better the packers are so awful a young boy put my chicken in w my yogurts and pie crust shampoo and conditioner and the chicken juice got alllll over everything and also when ever I get shawos brand chicken it smellls rotten so don't ever get shaws brand chicken its always bad read more

So disgusted! I have been to this location several times since I moved to the area. I had previously been told that all coupons were accepted, as long as they were manaufacturer's coupons. Today, I was told by the service desk that was incorrect and they would not honor the coupons I had. I have 3 children and need to save any way I can. I will not be returning to Shaws! read more

I grew up going grocery shopping with my mom at this Shaw's and after visiting many other branches over the years, I can honestly say this one can't be beat. The Easton Shaw's is clean & easy to navigate, as the entrance plops you right in the produce section so that you can work your way down through general grocery, meats, dairy & then over to the bakery before checking out. This is also where we go for can & bottle redemption...very convenient. Lastly, the employees at Shaw's Easton are a force to be reckoned with. Quick story regarding one of my visits from the past year: I left Shaw's shortly before close one evening after picking up some groceries on my way home from work... Come to find out, about a mile down the road, I couldn't locate my cell phone and decided to go back. The staff had remembered me from moments before because I had asked for help in one of the aisles and from there, the assistance they gave, coupled with some friendly banter, left me walking out with a huge smile on my face. (Probably the reason why I misplaced my phone in the first place...but a good reason if anything!) The manager on duty, a couple of other employees and even some customers got in on the search when I reentered and told them about my missing phone. I'm grateful for all of the delicious dinners my mother made over the years, grateful for the cleanliness of the store compared to all the others and grateful for the friendly helpful staff who assist customers on a daily and even track down the occasional lost cell phone where it's absent-minded owner left it...in a red basket under a check-out conveyor belt. read more

Shaw’s - the exterior of the store - Grocery Near Me - North Easton, Massachusetts

This Shaw's location is great. I never encounter a bad experience here since I have lived in Easton for the past 10 months. The cashiers and other staff members are really helpful, nice and courteous. They recently did a floor set change and updated their pos systems as well as their computers. Upgrades are always nice for a store when their former computers were very ancient looking...it's 2018 guys! Also, there's a new Starbucks in this location which is very exciting because now I can drink my dairy free latte when shopping. They just opened about a month ago so give them time to be excellent...everyone has to adjust! The produce section is beautiful and so neat. I love that they have vertical rows for the fruits as well as some sections off to the side. The vegetables and herbs are always fresh. The meat section is neat as well, but I feel that there needs to be more variety in terms of chicken. Also, I think the bread section shouldn't be all the way towards the end of the store on the right where the cheese is because it's so far away and the bread section should be somewhere in the middle of the store...just my opinion. Altogether, I like going here for shopping because their prices have gotten better. I know the bread section won't change, but I am fine with that haha! If you are using WIC, you may not want to go there. I suffered every single time there with WIC. The workers are not trained well with using it, the products are not well labeled, and the cashers and even sometimes managers give you unhappy look when you use it. I have been there so many times with WIC, but they disappointed me every time. I think I will stop going there. read more

Worst grocery store experience ever! I have tried shopping at this Shaws a few times and every time have been disappointed. This trip I went in because they had a great sale on boneless chicken breast. I planned on doing my weeks shopping there because of this great deal. They were out of the lettuce I wanted, the only celery left was limp, the parsley was a wilted mess. I asked if they had any more of these items and they did not. I then went to the meat dept. for the chicken I specifically came in for, and they were out.... I asked an associate in the dept. if they had any more, her response was "you have to ask someone in the meat dept. I work in the deli", so I went to the meat counter and rang the bell...and waited 5 minutes... and no one came. I then asked the associate behind the seafood counter, which is 5 steps away, if they knew if anyone was in the meat dept. His response was "ring the bell" well I already had, his response was then " I guess no one is there". I have never left a grocery store empty handed, until today. I will not be going back to a Shaws again, no matter what the sale is. read more
