Big Y of Easton -- Highlands Plaza : 25 Robert Drive, Easton Storefront

I think all of these other reviews are really harsh. Living in Westwood, I have shopped at both Big Y and Hannaford for years. They were both not far from my house, and now there are two Big Y stores near my house, as Big Y bought out eight different Hannaford locations, which will all turn into Stop&Shop's at some point, I believe. Anyway, this store isn't truly a Big Y. Yes, it says it on the sign, but no major renovations or changes have been made..... heck barely any minor changes have even been made. They sort of just left it the way it was and decided to just move on. In order for this to be a true Big Y, such as my favorite location in Walpole, they need to add all of the Big Y normal things, like a café and a pizza shop as well as changing the signs and locations for certain things. Yes, this store is large, spacious and vast, but since it says Big Y on the sign now, I expect it to be just as great as the Walpole location. In the current state, it's a fine supermarket, but not actually a Big Y. I heard people complaining in store about the prices and coins. Honestly, I like the coins and find it to be an interesting techniques in allowing certain customers who shop at the store often enough to get the coins get over-the-top awesome deals. Plus, since I'm organized, I don't lose the coins. Prices are somewhat higher than Hannafords, but then again, I find the quality to be better and a better selection at Big Y. I didn't really shop here when this place was Hannaford's, however, I NEVER shopped in the deli section or meat shop at the Norwood Hannaford. Overall, I don't see the big downside about this supermarket, as I find that Big Y beats Shaw's and Roche Bros for an overall decent place. While there is still work for them to do to actually make this a 'normal' Big Y, it doesn't deserve the one and two star reviews. 4 stars.

The manager was horribly rude to me while I was using the self check out. As if I'm not a full grown adult who knows how to read a screen.

Not nearly as good as Hannaford was. There are always long lines and carriages are not brought in often.

I know I'm going to use them and they make perfect gifts for my friends and family. And they are too fun not to collect. Both of the Trader Joe's in my area are always crazy busy! It's honestly the most chaotic chore I do multiple times a week, grocery shopping. Walking into this store was the complete opposite. It's chill, calm and peaceful. I literally felt like I was dreaming. I can only imagine how easy it must be to stop in, not have anyone cut you off or fighting your way through a crowd of shoppers. The thought of just being able come for what you need and leave without it taking forever sounds magical. And shopping at this location made me think of all the fun possibilities! I'm sure I came at a slow time but a girl can dream. I grabbed a handful of bags and of course a Chantilly vanilla bean cake. My daughter was attending a concert at the Gillette stadium so I needed a treat to keep me company. Like every location I have been to, the gal that checked me out was really sweet. We chatted a bit about my bag collection. She told me about the plastic forks up up front for my cake. It was the sweetest and easiest transaction. This store was amazing! It's three times the size of ours and it was fun checking it out. My cake was great as always. You can never go wrong with the sheet cakes here. I got my bags all packed for my flight home. I'm happy I got to stop into the Foxborough location for my out of state Trader Joe's experience!

Then the cashier was so kind wishing me a great night and to have a safe drive home. That normally doesn't happen anymore and I greatly appreciate it. In fact it actually made my night. The only drawback is falling in love with one and not being able to get it again when they change out them out seasonally.

It was well organized in here & easy to find everything. I love shopping at Whole Foods because they oftentimes have great quality meats, fruits, vegetables, and delicious bakery items. I love buying last minute cakes from here, especially their berry chantilly, chocolate ganache, and a dozen of their mini cheesecakes. I was hoping to find their 365 brand organic pink coconut water here but they didn't have it the day I visited & only had the Harmless Harvest brand. Other than that, I was able to find everything else I normally get. I'd come back again! I liked how quiet it was in here while shopping (not sure if it's always like this) & checking out was such a quick and easy process. Parking: huge parking lot with free parking.

They looked at me like was basically a criminal while in there. Like tf yo? So anyways called corporate they converted it to a physical gift card for me. Now here's the kick in the cards for yall... apparently from what corporate told me that they've had anarchy in them choosing what stores are accepting e cards. In my opinion they should be shut down if they dont wanna follow company policies. You're all under the same corporate umbrella your all union i know how it works cause I worked for another supermarket chain for 13 yrs and never heard of such an asinine policy. You let your stores choose if they're gonna accept e cards gtfo here. Its legit company purchase. Next time I come in and that's a big if at this point.. dont follow me around like I'm a criminal or anything dont worry your product looks like trash anyway and not worth stealing to be honest. Clean it up and maybe people will start shopping here again and maybe you won't have to keep closing so many stores too. Just a word of advice.
