Came by Pho RedBo in Garden Grove and was pleasantly surprised--plus points for being halal certified. We started with the Vietnamese coffee ($7), which was bold, strong, and nicely balanced with the sweetness from the condensed milk. A great way to kick things off. The egg rolls ($10) were packed with beef, shrimp, wood ear mushroom, and vermicelli--crispy on the outside and paired perfectly with fresh lettuce and fish sauce. The standout for me was the flaming wagyu ($18), torched tableside. For how thick the cut was, it was incredibly tender and soft. Definitely go medium rare. The ponzu dipping sauce really enhances the richness of the beef. We also tried the shaken beef ($21), which came with plenty of caramelized onions and bell peppers that added a subtle sweetness. The beef was slightly charred, bite-sized, and super satisfying--especially with rice. The combo pho ($25) came loaded with a variety of meats, all tender and melt-in-your-mouth. The broth had a deep, beefy richness, and the noodles were perfectly soft. Add in the garnishes for some crunch and it really ties everything together. Overall, a solid spot with quality ingredients and flavorful dishes. Would definitely come back if I'm in the area.

Pho-real - this is my new favorite pho place! The restaurant is cozy, but hip...I love all the blue throughout the restaurant! Our server, Leo, was extremely attentive and a very impressive server. The pho had an amazing depth of flavor - I tasted cardamom, cloves and I think star anise. Just the broth itself was fantastic! And it was very fun to have the torched Wagyu beef done tableside, I've never seen that done before! My husband got the Wagyu fried rice and there were huge chunks of Wagyu, which he loved! I will definitely be back, I just wish it was closer to my house!

Most pho restaurants use commodity beef--you don't know where it comes from or how it was raised. But Pho REDBO is doing something completely different. They use Wagyu beef sourced through direct supplier relationships, with no growth hormones and no antibiotics. Here, sourcing isn't just a detail--it's part of the product. Their broth is simmered for 24 hours, delivering a deep, rich flavor that sets a new standard. Pair that with premium Wagyu, and you get a bowl of pho that's both elevated and intentional. What makes it even more unique is that the entire menu is halal-certified--something you rarely see at this level of quality. Clean sourcing. Wagyu beef. 24-hour bone broth. Right on Garden Grove Boulevard.

One of the best pho I've had!! I got the combo pho and it has a good variety of meat and the broth is very flavorful! The meat are super tender. I got the regular and it was perfect. My husband got the large size and he had a hard time finishing it... will definitely return to try other interesting items on the menu! The server was very attentive and kept checking on us! The price is on the higher side but the quality is good!

I was excited to try this place because I'd heard so many good things, but overall it didn't quite live up to the hype. Food: Pho Combo (6/10): It was decent, but nothing really stood out. We got this with regular noodle. There's option for fresh or regular noodle. The bowl size looked a bit small for both the regular and large compared to other pho spots I've been to. It was basic and enjoyable, but not memorable. Pho with Rare Steak (7/10): I did like that they offer a fresh noodle option since I prefer that type in my pho. Similar to the combo pho, it was slightly salty but still decent. The rare steak was good, but overall it felt like an average bowl. It was decent, just not one of the best I've had. Wagyu Beef Stew / Bò Kho (4/10): The stew itself was okay, but the bread really brought it down. It didn't taste fresh at all--more soft and chewy in a stale way rather than crispy and warm. It came out and was not hot or crispy from the start. Service: The service was great. The staff were sweet, helpful, and attentive. Everything came out efficiently. Ambiance: Very casual and spacious Vietnamese restaurant. There's a good amount of seating, and everything seemed clean and well-kept.

Always excited to try out another pho spot and this place did not disappoint! I absolutely had to try the wagyu pho here out of curiosity and it was sooo good! The meat is so tender and I love how the broth comes piping hot and you can cook the meat quickly and assemble your bowl! The pho with rib cubes was also so flavorful and the meat was so tender and not tough at all! The fries were the perfect appetizer with a nice crunch and flavor.

Finally tried Pho Red Bo and it was honestly worth the hype. We started with the flaming wagyu, and they literally sear it right in front of you. The meat was so tender and just melted in your mouth; super rich and full of flavor. We also got the pho sandwich and shaken beef (no rice). Both were really unique and so good--crispy, flavorful, and you can tell the quality is there. For the main, we had the A5 wagyu pho. The broth was clean but still packed with flavor, and the beef was insanely soft--it just melts into the soup. Service was amazing too. Chi Thu took such good care of us, always checking in and making sure we had everything without even needing to ask. Thank you, Chi Thu! Overall, everything was on point--from the food to the service. If you're craving a good bowl of pho with a little twist, this is definitely a spot you need to try.

I was in Garden Grove and my friend wanted to check this spot out to have lunch. We came in and got seated quickly since there was only one other table that was here. The service was fast and we ordered the pho sandwich and pho combo as well as an oxtail bone that was also with broth. The pho sandwich is creative and tasty! It has a lot of flavor and overall I did enjoy this. The pho noodles are delicious and I like the thick wider noodles. They are good! Overall we had a good lunch and the service was great!

We came on a Monday night around 830 and it was very busy!! We didn't have to wait but we knew the pho here must be good. I ordered the shrimp pho and my husband ordered the rare steak pho. Each came with generous portions of protein. They also have the option of regular or fat noodles. The soup is very delicious and comforting. We also ordered the truffle fries which were delicious and crispy! Overall vibe is casual and I liked the ambiance. They played light music in the background and it feels very clean inside. Parking is very easy as there's a lot.

This spot has three different locations, and we decided to try the Garden Grove one since we were already headed next door to Cosmo Beauty School and heard this location was the best. I'm so glad we did! The inside has a very dark, modern vibe. Everything is painted black. The layout is a little unique: the front faces the street, but the entrance is actually on the side from the shopping center, so you don't immediately see the counter when you walk in. It's pretty simple inside, not much décor, just straightforward and clean. The menu is super simple, they focus on pho and extra sides, and that's it. I actually love when a restaurant specializes and keeps it simple. Since I'm not good at making decisions. Most bowls come in regular or large. The bowls looks like a standard size bowl, but don't let that fool you, it's very filling! I ordered a large like I usually do (and I can normally finish a large bowl of pho down to the last drop), but here I had leftover broth and noodles. The portions are generous. They give you the option of two noodle types: thin and slightly chewy or thicker and softer. I personally prefer the thinner noodles since I don't like my noodles too soft and easily broken, but it's nice having the choice. Now let's talk about the real star....the BEEF. The meat here is excellent. Super tender, flavorful, and honestly delicious even without adding any seasoning. Every cut was high quality and tasty. My husband especially enjoyed the broth, both rich and satisfying without being overpowering. Staff was good and service was smooth, but what really earned this place 5 stars for me was the quality of the meat. That alone makes it worth coming back.

Went here for our friend who only eats halal. While it is pricey, $23 for a large bowl of pho, I will say it is pretty good. Broth is very deep and rich. Meat is very tender and delicious. They also give you the option of flat or thin noodles. We also got the truffle fries. The truffle flavor wasn't too overpowering and it was really crispy. If you're looking for halal pho I would definitely go here. Even though it is good, if halal meat isn't a requirement for you or your party, I would go to somewhere else.

I spent some time SEARCHING on YELP last night for a potentially good PHO place in GARDEN GROVE. And of course a lot of PHO places appeared so what attracted me to this one was the FLAMING WAGYU! Arrived at 1:30pm and we got a seat right away. But sadly the FLAMING WAGYU ran out so I kindly asked if they can torch the premium chuck eye pho with fresh noodles and they did it in the back for us so that was so NICE of them to do it! EGGROLLS: 10/10 The eggrolls were so crispy in every single bite! From the first to the last bite. It was SATISFACTION! PREMIUM PHO: 10/10 This was SO worth the drive! the meat was so nice and thin. The torch flavor made the meat and onions nice and smoky too. Plus the stone pot made the broth stay nice and HOT for a long time! AMBIANCE: Pretty nice and spacious... ROCK ON PHO REDBO!!!!!!

This was our first time visiting their Garden Grove location, and they truly impressed us with their quality just like their Westminster location did. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and the space is nice and open and clean. They seated us promptly, and the server made some great recommendations. We shared: Flaming Wagyu Shaken Beef with rice Pho Combo Pho Sandwich Their pho broth is one of our favorites to this day. The portion is huge and has a generous amount of meat too. It was our first time to try the sandwich, and we'd definitely order this again. The shaken beef was tender and juicy, and the flaming wagyu just melts in your mouth.

Flaming Wagyu topped with onions cooked slightly above medium rare.

We were celebrating a very dear friend's 40th birthday and wanted her table to feel extra special. I reached out ahead of time to ask if we could bring our own tablecloth, dinner plate ware, and small florals to dress the table, very minimal -- and not only did they say yes, they were genuinely accommodating and warm about it. We had offered to handle all the cleanup ourselves (scraping off the food and taking it off, bringing home all the dirty dishes), but our waiter Vu went far above and beyond: after dinner, he offered to take our decorative plates to the kitchen to have them washed -- and they came back warm, dry, and spotless. That single gesture said everything about the kind of person he is and the culture of this restaurant. Vu was attentive, thoughtful, and made our entire table feel cared for all evening. The manager also stopped by a couple of times to check on us, which was such a lovely touch. When I had requested a quieter, more private area of the restaurant with less foot traffic, they delivered exactly that -- a cozy corner that felt like it was just ours for the night. And the food? Absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was wonderful. We also brought a homemade matcha cake from Sugar Farm Bakery, and we offered Vu and his team a slice -- they came back out to rave about it and thank us, which just warmed our hearts. This is the kind of restaurant that makes you feel like family. Whether you're coming for the incredible food or looking for the perfect place to host a meaningful celebration, Brodard Chateau is it. Over all those years, they have never disappointed me and continue to serve really good food. I usually get the beef brisket pho and it's really good. The noodles are just the right texture, the broth is clean and flavorful, and the meat tastes fresh and tender. Their dui bo is also very good, but usually runs out after 1:00 or 2:00 pm, since they only have a limited amount of this item every day. The meat is fall off the bone tender and has a more fatty flavor to it. It usually sits in some broth that absorbs that beefy and fatty flavor from the bone. A great addition to any bowl of pho. Alternatively, I sometimes also get the bun thit nuong and it's very good. The eggrolls it comes with is wrapped with rice paper, so when it's fried up, it has such a satisfying crunch and texture to it. The thit nuong is has a nice smokey, grilled flavor to it. The shrimps are okay as well. This is a very satisfying and filling dish, so if you're looking for a high volume dish, this may be the one to get. Expect long lines during peak hours. Noodles were on the soggier side, I'm not picky about noodles but if you are then this is something to consider. Portions were huge for the price, very happy with that. CASH ONLY. I didn't see an ATM there but I'm sure they had one. Will always recommend and they have a new customer for whenever I'm in OC.
