The chicken wrap today really hit the spot today and it was huge! The sauces were amazing and the pickled onions/fresh veggies balance the tender chicken really well. I went before lunch so service was fast and easy. Casual place for workers on their lunch breaks to grab a hearty meal. Great food and very reasonable prices.

Great food and super friendly. Used to come a lot during HS but it's been a while. Got the mixed plate although I think I like the chicken better here. Added oil and vinegar to salad which I recommend. Extra onions. Their desserts look good too so gotta come back to try

Ikram Grill is a Fountain Valley staple for Turkish food. I stopped by on MLK Day for lunch and there were a lot of people coming and going, most of them taking it to go. I know they're famous for their shawarma so I opted for the beef doner pide which comes with an insane amount of meat all packed between flatbread that's put in a panini press after you decide which toppings you want. I got everything except pickles and the sandwich was near exploding. However, the meat was a lot tougher than I thought it'd be, considering it looked so juicy. I also got the mixed doner plate for my brother which is why I know the chicken is better than the beef. It was surprisingly more tender and flavorful. I chose a dessert based on the worker's recommendation and she said her favorite was the triangle baklava, I think. It wasn't the most popular one but since it was filled with cream it added an extra depth to the crispy phyllo dough. It was pretty empty inside since the workers efficiently got everyone's orders out quickly.

After a long day of softball we tried Ikram Grill and it did not disappoint. Food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Restaurant was nice and clean. Employees were very helpful. We ordered the 3-Chicken Doner Wrap, 7-Chicken Doner Pide, 10-Beef Doner Plate, and the 17-Beef Ikram Special. Everything was solid. The meat was cooked just right, seasoned well, and portions were really good. The #10 beef doner plate was probably my favorite simple but really tasty. The Beef Ikram Special with fries definitely hits if you're hungry. Overall, really good spot. I'll definitely be back

Amazing hospitality and food! It's so hard to find proper Turkish food in Orange County because everyone uses doner/shawarma interchangeably even when it's not actually Turkish. Anyway, my boyfriend and I both ordered pide sandwiches, one mixed and one beef, and they were DELICIOUS. Massive portions too, the pictures I added don't do the size justice. Meat was well seasoned with the proper spices for Turkish flavor profile. Bonus points for having fresh bread as an option for our sandwiches, and being able to customize toppings. The veggies were fresh and they have so many delicious sauces, including hummus- to dress your sandwich. We were so stuffed halfway through our sandwich & my leftovers were enough for a large snack later on in the day. Aside from plates, wraps, and sandwiches, they also offer Sutlac, various phyllo and katayifi pastries, lentil soup, etc. Ikram Grill lives up to the hype, and even commuting all the way from Buena Park, we thought it was 100% worth it and would absolutely come again.

A small, quick doner stop with a straightforward menu. Choose a protein (beef *loaded* with lamb fat, chicken, or falafel), a vehicle of delivery (wrap, pide bread, or French fries), and inhale. Counter service is fast and succinct, just tell them what number on the menu you want and what toppings to not put on, and let them work their magic. It's a small and narrow eatery without any frills, but it really doesn't need any. We wanted to try both meats so we got a combo wrap and a combo pide. Everything was delicious but when we come back I'm definitely getting a beef pide, it's super fatty and juicy and flavorful and much more filling than the wrap. Veggies and sauces were tasty and gave the right amount of lube; I'm not big on onions but their pickled onions were sweet and not too powerful. The baklava were delicious, the kadayif was crispy and sweet without hurting your mouth, and the carrot slice baklava was almost oppressively sweet but hit the spot. It's overall an unassuming spot good for a quick informal meal. 1000% worth checking out, we'll be back regularly. I'm curious about the sodas and yogurt drinks in their cooler I've never seen before.

Beef doner on the special bread was amazing! I let them choose the sauces and I got it dressed with everything! Service was friendly, I only wish they had a spot closer to me.

I ordered a mixed chicken and beef doner plate ($19) which comes with lettuce, tomato, red onions, cucumbers, pickles, and peppers topped with three different sauces + hot sauce. The assembly is quick and customizable like a Mediterranean Chipotle. They give a good sized portion. The meats were tender, soft and flavorful, and the sauces added a nice creamy mix to the bite. I wasn't a fan of the plain white rice though as I prefer basmati saffron rice with this dish.

Honestly this place is a bit of a hole-in-the-wall, but those are always the best! It's very homey and authentic, but the food is great! Aesthetic & Ambience: 6.5/10 minimal aesthetic with portraits and artwork on the walls, but I enjoyed the open roasting meat, and service line style options when creating my dish. I went during lunch so it was mainly everyone on lunch break, a little hustle and busy with food delivery services rotating. Chicken Doner Pide: 9.5/10 the chicken was so tender and juicy, and the bread was pressed perfectly. The toppings were whatever veggies and then some you wanted, but this was definitely one of the best pide's I've had. IMO go with the chicken over beef on this one! Turkish Pistachio Baklava: 7.5/10 was very good, just very sweet. It is DRENCHED in honey, and it doesn't look like it until your first bite; make sure to grab plenty of napkins!

Ikram Grill is a Turkish doner casual self-seat restaurant. They have Pide (I call it a Turkish torta). If you're familiar with Mexican bolillo or telera - the bread is similar and they stuff it with 2 choices of meat - chicken or beef. You can also get the meat over a bed of rice with a bunch of savory fixings on top. One thing to note is that they do cook the beef doner with lamb fat - so it does have that lambey/gamey taste to it. I don't think it's the case with the chicken. My favorite thing about this place is how freshly the Usta slices the meat onto your plate in front of you. They also have fresh Simit (Turkish bagel), which they tend to run out of pretty early in the day. We love to eat it at home for breakfast with Kaymak (from next door's Hamle Market) & honey with some hot Turkish tea. Yum! They also offer a variety of typical Turkish syrupy/cheesy desserts - which again they sometimes run out of. The Turkish coffee is not my favorite here or really anywhere but my house lol. I made this comment to one of my Turkish friends and she said that in Turkey that tends to be the case - where the coffee is always better at home. The Parking lot is shared with Hamle Market and another kebab place but I've never had problems finding parking. I'm sure the meat is not as delicious as you'd find in Turkey, but this is probably the next best thing. Try it!

Easy parking + no wait time + friendly service. THE best turkish restaurant. Their chicken donor wrap ($12) is so good and hits all the flavor profiles. I've been to this place many times and the food is always consistent. Highly recommend.

I've really went so long without trying this place! I got the Mixed Ikram Special (Beef & Chicken) with all the sauces. Getting it for lunch, I was full until night. The best part about this was the sauces! I remember there being yogurt, hot sauce, and another one I can't remember. Definitely get it with all so your plate is juicy and full with flavor. Seeing the meat cut off in front of you is the cherry on top! Won't be neglecting this place on my list next time!

Is the meat zabiha halal by Hand or Machine?

    Yes, its halal by machine.

Do they have tables for eating inside?

Yes, there are some tables inside, but on busy days it can get a bit difficult to find seating for more than 1 or 2 people.

What are your Vegetarian options? Do you have any gluten-free options ? It all looks wonderful!

They have falafel, I think that's vegetarian

    Do you accept cash?

    Yes, we do

Is both the beef and chicken hand slaughtered hallal?

JAK for the question, I was looking for the same answer. FYI, machine slaughtered is also deemed zabihah, so the question is valid and people are looking for the answer, no need for snarky comments

    Is their baklava vegan?

No, it is made with a lot of butter

    Is the meat halal-certified?

Yes. Verified as an approved establishment of serving only halal meat. Also bearing the seal upon entry.

    Hi Do you make buffet?

No, they don't have a buffet. Establishment next door (Blue Moon) offers Armenian lunch buffet.

Several beer pitchers in @ HACHI (just next door-shout out to them)-- for a celebration of a breakup, the end of midterms, or simply the triumph of continuing to exist (in THIS economy?? were all needing to praise ourselves for simply surviving) -- we found ourselves drawn, like moths to a fluorescently lit flame, to Halal Guys. Now listen. The food? Solid. Reliable. The kind of food that understands you are not here for nuance. You are here because life has punched you in the throat and you require a plate of rice, chicken, gyro meat, and mysterious white sauce to spiritually stabilize. I used to go to the OG one in NYC when i was getting punched in the throat there too. (PUNCHED IN THE THROAT BY ACADEMIA, FIGURATIVELY, y'all haver crazy imaginations outthere). BUT it;s the people... It's always the people... The staff. My siblings in falafel... it was 10 PM. You could feel the collective energy of "we have been serving drunk people since sunset and you are the 437th group tonight explaining your breakup story while pointing at the menu." Not judging, just warmth and the quiet aura of people who have seen things. Who have witnessed humanity at its lowest point: ordering extra hot sauce and then immediately regretting it. JC looked in my soul and I think he understood,,, everything. AND JESS! (my fairy wielding a spoon scooping the heavenly meat and talking to me like a therapist??) And they fed us. Efficiently. Overall (1/5) This was easily my worst Halal Guys experience…read moreand honestly left me really disappointed. I came craving something familiar and left feeling like I wasted both time and money. First Impressions (1/5) When I walked in, there was only one person working, handling the fryer, the register, and assembling plates. I genuinely felt bad for her, especially considering the steady line forming. What We Got (2/5) I ordered a regular plate, which is what I usually get at Halal Guys. Nothing customized or complicated, just the standard order I have had many times before at other locations. Taste and Quality (0/5) The food was shockingly bad. The rice was raw and crunchy, which was hard to believe at first. The meat pieces were tiny and very chewy, and the pita bread was extremely soggy. On top of that, it was only around 4 pm and the usual spinning meat and grill were not even on, despite the line picking up. Service (2/5) The worker was clearly trying her best, but one person running everything in a busy location is not realistic. She was constantly running back and forth between the fryer and the line, which made the whole operation feel chaotic and slow. Space and Atmosphere (3/5) The space itself was fine and what you would expect from Halal Guys. Clean enough, but nothing stood out positively enough to offset the food experience. Was It Worth It (0/5) Not at all. As someone who is pretty frugal and almost always finishes their meals, I could not finish this plate. It genuinely felt like a waste of $18. Final Thoughts This location does not seem to be held to the same standards as other Halal Guys in the area. This experience was disappointing from start to finish.

As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted by a friendly cashier who took my order and kindly asked if I wanted anything else. I decided to keep it simple and ordered a half-and-half buila-your-own pızza. While waiting. I noticed several awards displayed on the wall, including "Best of 2026" and "Best of 2025" from Business Rate. It's clear this place has earned a strong reputation, with customers praising everything from their Mediterranean buffet to their pizza and chicken. The menu offers much more than just pizza. They serve a variety of Turkish dishes such as Adana kebab plates, doner plates or wraps, meatball plates, lentil soup, chicken soup, and both half and whole roasted chicken meals. And I've watched her son grow into a man with his own kids. Mom, as I'll refer to her, was always so nice and welcoming. Her food was good and she made the best baklava I have ever had! Anyway, the place has changed hands. I'm bummed I didn't get a chance to say bye and I hope that things ended well, on their terms, and that Mom enjoys a long healthy well deserved retirement. Thank you so much for the wonderful food and memories. May God bless you and your family. As for the new owners, they seemed to be working hard and looked to be trying to keep things similar. I frequent the buffer and was glad to see the kufta, ground seasoned meat sticks in tomato sauce, still there. The shape was a little off. No green beans though! They were so good together. Their lentil soup was much different and totally blended smooth. Not bad, but I don't care for the consistency, the old way was much better. The chicken and rice soup was still there, all be it a bit watered down but good. Pizza at the buffet was alright. I didn't care for the pita bread with cheese and peperoni, it was kinda weak (this was not lamajun). All in all, it was alright and I'm sure I'll go back to see how they do. It's still a decently priced buffet. I do wish the new owners well and hope they try and keep some of the old recipes.
