Don't underestimate this place, one of the best gyros I've had in a while around here! Especially for a gas station. Gyros wrap was spicy and flavorful with plenty of lamb/beef to fill you up for the day. I'm glad I asked for regular spicy and not extra spicy there was a kick but you could still taste all the different flavors, the gyro wrap also has lettuce but I asked for mine without it. I also got the Greek fries which were fresh and not skimpy on the toppings of taziki and feta cheese. Service was great, guy taking my order was super nice and even gave me a free baklava which was also delicious. Just order at the counter and pay at the gas station counter. Seems like same owner/family runs this station. Found this place on a whim while I was looking for a place to eat otw back to SJ from Monterey lol it did not disappoint! Located inside a chevron gas station there's what looks to be a family run restaurant. We were skeptical at first but right upon arrival someone told us to literally order everything lol (that's a good sign) We got the beef and lamb plate and the beef shawarma. Zero ambience--it's in a gas station mini-mart. Don't let that deter you! The family that owns the place were so very nice with our ignorant questions about the food. When he was wrapping and packing our wraps, a young man I guessed was a son, rolled the paper so we could peel it down as needed as we ate it (while driving). He packed the napkins in, then instructed us it might drip so the napkins were right where we might need it. Truly a hidden gem! I brought my family to the Monterey area for the long weekend and did a quick halal search for something near by. I called to make sure they were open and verified the food is halal. The customer service was superb! I had my daughter with me and they made sure the food wouldn't be spicy for her and they made everything fresh and in a timely manner.
