Yusef and his team treated me like family. It was like we were all cousins just chatting it up cooking up dinner. Up first I tried the lamb burger with all the works. Now that was a flavorful burger!! The spices meshed so well together, I'm definitely a fan of lamb burgers now. Now onto the show stopper. I tried the viral cheese wrapped chicken shawarma wrap and that was something I've never tasted before. It was the same toppings as the burger but they meshed differently but just as well as the burger. It was crispy, savory, juicy and had a little spice from the jalapeños. Highly recommend if you are in the mood for shawarma! It's a great family owned local business where the food is always fresh and the customer service is top notch! I love to stop by and get a delicious chicken and beef mix shawarma bowl! The proteins taste so fresh and seasoned, the toppings are great as they have so many to choose from and I love the yellow rice with it as well. They also have great prices and definitely a good spot to stop by for lunch, dinner or takeouts. I see lots of different orders people make here when I am dining in that all look delicious too so I definitely need to try some of the other dishes they have, but the bowl is just so good! My husband brought us here after running errands back in June. This is not to be confused with Shawarmaz! There was a previous seafood restaurant here that I was never able to try, but I guess it was for the best. The owner was there and was very friendly and helpful. It was a quiet day but they had a few ppl inside. We were able to review the menu and talk through what we wanted before ordering. My youngest daughter got the shawarma beef in a wrap. My husband got a shawarma chicken bowl. I wasn't too hungry so got some french fries and was excited that they had baklava, which was so delicious. Im sorry but I really do not understand the hype of this place. The food was just not good. The rice wasnt fresh. The chicken had potential. Some pieces were dry some were juicy but it tasted like it'd been out. The creamy garlic sauce i requested on top of the chicken and rice had a very tainted taste to it almost like it turned. My food was inedible. Please take the garlic creamy sauce off the menu. Service was mediocre. He wasnt rude but when I told him it was my first time here he seemed disinterested; almost like I was on my own and figure it out.
