This really is such a great spot! I love kebab shop! It's healthy and delicious! The have an expansive menu to the point it can almost be difficult to make all the decisions you want in your food. I always love to get a bowl as it is a great combo of everything you would want in one. The chicken shawarma is top notch and I love the hummus, and other toppings! The one huge selling point I love is the self serve sauces they have. I loved the dill tzatziki sauce and the fire one. They always seem to bring out new sauces to try as they currently have four to choose from. Kebab shop is always a solid option. You have to give it a try if you haven't. Was busy I went 12:40 pm, place looks clean but short staff. Cashier took my order to go bowl with chicken dharma and 2 sides ( humus and saffron rice). We came within the hour before closing so we decided to get to go. Usually when you come in this late to an establishment, staff will usually try to rush your order since it's the end of the day but we were so warmly greeted by Fio. They were amazing from beginning to end, from explaining the menu to giving us samples and recommendations. Their enthusiasm was a big part of what made this experience so great! We ended up ordering a few wraps, one fo them San Diego Style- which means it came with fries and feta in it. It was delicious! I got my wrap with the carved chicken and it was tender and satisfied my craving. We also got the crave fries which came with the OG Yogurt sauce, pickled onions, and feta. Sooooo good. The young lady at the front was so pleasant and kind. She recommended the grilled steak marinated sirloin which was an upcharge so I side eyed it a bit it did not disappoint! Well worth the Pennies and fresh off the grill. The bowl is well priced at $12 or so so an extra $2 was still reasonable for lunch. Very filling, healthy, and quick. You couldn't ask for a better lunch option. I stopped in to the TKS as it's called. They have a decent product. I only tried the falafel wrap but it delivered. I was given a wrap that had to be a foot long flatbread. The wrap itself was grilled & charred n a few spots & had good flavor. The inside filling was composed of pickled onions, tomato's & cucumbers, a white garlicky yogurt sauce, & of course falafel. The entire product was an eye-pleaser. The flavor was rather muted, so I had to try their 3 different sauces they offer, in order to jazz it up. One sauce is a red sauce that is promoted as fire. The batch I got was lacking any heat, so it seemed like I was just pouring on tomato sauce, lol. Whoops, it was not made correctly. The 2nd sauce was a jalapeño-cilantro sauce. It was excellent & did have some heat. Finally they had more of their garlic-yogurt sauce available. It was very mild & perhaps had just a hint of garlic. Flavorless chicken bowl. I got it with rice, all the veggies, and added garlic yogurt sauce and it had no flavor. The strongest flavor was rotisserie chicken that tasted gamey like dark meat. The rice tasted like it didn't even have salt just yellow food coloring and had a slightly chlorinated taste to it as if it was cooked in tap water. It did not taste as if this bowl had any sort of spices or salt. I used the jalapeño cilantro sauce to make it edible but had to drench the entire bowl in it. Ultimately had to make a soup using the jalapeño cilantro sauce to be able to down this. I would not get this chicken or rice again. I paid just under $17 for this bowl with a small fountain drink. Plus tip this almost put me at $20 which was not worth it based on taste alone though the portion was okay, I've gotten larger portions for this amount elsewhere. This place would get 1 star if not for how clean, kept, and how nice the staff was. read more

The person who took my order was incredibly nice and explained the menu for me, which I always appreciate. She gave me their new Jalepeño Humus to try and it was delicious. A very good mix of flavors. In facts, the majority of the sauces are great. The only one I wasn't a big fan of was the O.G. Yogurt (Original Garlic); not very flavorful. They let me try their lamb and it's fantastic. A bit dry for my liking, but still very good. I ordered a Plate with Carved Rotisserie Chicken, Saffron Rice and Fries, and I enjoyed it for the most part. The chicken was amazing and the fries were a nice addition. I sadly didn't enjoy the rice very much. It was flavorless, but when mixed with the chicken, it was great. The price is not necessarily the best. I've eaten bigger portions and better flavors for less. The plate was $14.45 and the beverage $2.95, totaling at $17.40 + $1.22 (7% Tax) = $18.62 Overall, despite the few negatives, I enjoyed myself and I would definitely come back, but next time for the kebabs themselves. I was super excited to check out this place. It just opened up and it is located in the new Miramar plaza. It was pretty busy when I walked in. They have an option to order on the kiosk which is very convenient, you are able to customize your order on the kiosk as well. I ordered the lamb beef/gyro rice platter as well as the San Diego wrap. Everything was delicious! The wrap was hugeeeee, it had Carved Lamb Beef, Pickled Onions, Fries, Feta. I wasn't able to finish the whole thing.
