Friendly staff, welcoming store. Regular prices are kind of high so we make sure to shop the sales and use our coupons.

Bow Street does it again! I seem to have an uncanny ability to find tastings - and when I thought I…read morewas making a quick stop to get two avocados there was a tasting happening! It was great - the woman from the distributor was perfect. What made it extra memorable was a calligrapher who added messages to each bottle purchased. So yes, instead of 2$ for avocados I have a bottle of 10 year old Basil Hayden bourbon & bottle of tequila aged in a bourbon barrel.

This rating is specific to the Deli which I've NEVER had a good experience with. Only reason we…read morereturn is for Boars Head meats which can't be found anywhere else. For starters, they won't permit you to pre-order over the phone and direct you to the app, which also die NOT have an option to order deli meats. When you arrive at the deli, there are typically 4-6 employees standing behind the counter and not one of them will bother to acknowledge your presence. Certainly never any niceties. Instead, you'll find them shooting the shit tucked in the corner snacking on deli meats and cheeses. After multiple minutes waiting, One will come and ask if you've been helped because it's not obvious enough that I'm standing there alone, staring at them and no one has lifted a finger. This deli has to be the penalty box for Bow St workers because they all act like they're in a cage waiting to be let out and want absolutely NOTHING to do with patrons. They'll literally let meat roll off the slicer into a bag that ultimately falls apart when trying to remove a slice. Today, I got home to find a half pound of turkey ends. These guys clearly intentionally try to ruin days. Owners, PAY ATTENTION. This is on YOU.

Came in to price a camera, to order online. Saw that the store actually had it in stock. Stood at the electronics counter for 10 mins, and nobody came to assist. Found the guy in the aisle, and he made no attempt to help. Didn't even say hello. So, I walked away. Guess I'll spend my $600 elsewhere. Also the plus size clothing selection at this store is HORRENDOUS. It's terrible. All year round, this is where they decide to drop their clearance racks for other clothing departments to make the section appear full. All of the clothes are cheap nasty material that nobody wants, certain things have been there since last fall. It's truly pathetic! Their bathrooms are an absolute dumpster fire. ALL THE TIME. Don't even get me started on their idiotic parking lot and the drivers that park there. None of these customers have any right to even have a drivers licenses. Everybody is arrogant and entitled. I can't even tell you how many times the handicap parking is invaded by non handicap people that don't have any compassion. The only saving grace this store has is that they have the new Alpine Blast Poppi soda in stock and their door greeters are the nicest people in the world. That's it. Literally everything else SUCKS!

I don't think people who live in this area realize how great they have it with this Hannaford…read more(clearly they've never been to the one on Forest Ave in Portland which is no less than traumatizing). It's tremendously clean! It's extremely well stocked! It's an easy to navigate floor plan! The produce is beautiful looking! The cheese area is abundant and beautifully maintained! People shopping here are neighborly to each other! Seriously, it's a very nice store. Sure, I'm one of those people who prefers the segregation of my Nature's Place organic and natural foods into their own area, but they do a solid job at clearly identifying the sections among the aisles that are home to those products. I will admit: I've never been here during the middle of summer, so maybe it is a lot more hectic and chaotic here. But your busy Hannaford during July is the Hannaford on Forest Ave in Portland 24/7/365, so perspective. No, the parking lot isn't the best of the Hannaford parking lots (I'd say Westbrook and Lewiston have those) - mostly because the entrance/exit is a bit constricted; and, inside, there could be more aisles open when cashing out, but I appreciate that the Self Checkouts were all working and moved quickly. All in all, Yarmouth is lucky to have such a nice Hannaford!

We stop at this Hannaford when we are passing through town, because it is pretty convenient to get…read moreto from 295, Rt. 1, especially during off season, and we are able to find our weekly grocery items at this location. Parking - it is a shared lot with a few other businesses and it is a shared driveway - it makes it a bit crowded and hectic. The parking lot can be a challenge to navigate whether you're walking through or driving through it. It seems that someone is always honking at someone. People don't really look carefully, so be on the lookout for reverse lights. The good news about the small lot, is that carriage racks aren't far from wherever you might be and i have NEVER seen a stray cart sitting out in the middle of the lot. The store seems smaller than most I have been in and is very crowded during peak hours, end of day between 5-6pm. I have found the quality of the produce to be great and sourced locally. They were selling Ricker Hill Farms Apples today. Great quality. The bakery and cheese section is where I spend a lot of time while waiting for the deli number to be called. One word LOCAL! Pigs Fly Bread, BIG SKY BREAD!!!! Debbie's Pies, Wicked Whoopie Pies and PINELAND FARMs cheeses!! I could go on and on, but you just need to come and see for yourself. The rest of the aisles and products are typical, until you get to the other side of the store, where there is an Agency Liquor store inside! It's a nice space, plenty of options of wine, spirits, beer and on occasion they have tastings. While they don't have rare/limited release beers, they do have a good selection of craft beer. Staff is pleasant for the most part. They work quickly to move customers through the lines. The only complaint I have is that their customer service desk, isn't really a customer service desk...it's a register and if there isn't enough staff and or they are busy, they close it and only run it as a checkout. Hence the 1 less star, as I really needed stamps, so much for my one stop shopping. I do recommend this Hannaford if you are in the area. Great products and good prices. Don't forget to bring your own bag to avoid the $.05 surcharge.

The inside is honestly too small for the amount of product they sell and is pretty claustrophobic with multiple customers and staff. Not like running into people small but you need to be aware of yourself as you open refrigerator doors and stand in one place debating for excessive amounts of time like me. I used to always get Miyake sushi but it sells out fast/ it's after lunchtime when I go. Lately I got a turkey cheddar sandwich, it was hearty and on good bread but also $13. I usually get a fun drink since they always have new brands and options of things like watermelon water, coconut water, kombucha, seltzer, etc. I highly recommend the pretzel rolls and the ham/cheese croissant in the pastry cabinet, although those are usually sold out too. You can buy fancy chips and ice creams as well as local seafood and produce. It's a nice one stop shop but purchasing ingredients to make a meal is likely a splurge. Treat yourself and also grab a fancy chocolate bar by the register when you pay.

It's astonishing that I have only been in this store twice, given the fact that I grew up in Brunswick...Anyway, i finally made it in. It's a smaller store, that feels like what you might encounter in a larger city. It was neat and clean. I couldn't really tell how aisles were organized, however, because I was browsing, it didn't stress me out. We encountered one staff member who "assisted" my sister and it was fine, very transactional, which is fine and again, what you might expect in a big city. Staff at the register were fast and efficient, didn't engage in too much conversation, just supportive of fruit pies I purchased. LOL They had a lot of offerings from some of our favorite local businesses! Standard Baking Company Little Lads Two Fat Cats Union Bagel The prices were competitive as well! They have fresh produce, meat, dairy, eggs, seasonings...pretty much everything you can find at Whole Foods but at a smaller more local scale. I can't wait to go back the next time in town.

How can I not when they carry products I... a) have never heard of b) have always wanted to try and had never been able to find before c) can't find anywhere else From healthy looking organic produce, to a plethora of gluten-free cereals, to the odd can of locally made beer that was sold out months ago in Portland, to frozen and refrigerated foods not carried elsewhere (like vegan salami! like vegan cheeses you've probably never heard of! like locally made - not just artisans from Cumberland County, but Androscoggin and Sagadahoc too!). Morning Glory is truly a natural foods store paradise. I drive out of my way to come here - I think it's probably the best natural foods store in Maine! - because there's so much right about this little local spot (prices, variations on themes of items, the smell [how can we bottle this up?], the candle and other home goods/gift options, the seasonal items, the staff seems more willing to help than ever before, even the space itself is welcoming despite it being overly crowded with shelves and people). I'm proud to support my local independent grocer!
