They definitely have a sandwich for all tastes.

Okay, I am an absolute Philadelphia cheese steak fanatic. I have been to Philadelphia numerous times, and had cheese steaks at some of the best places there. Find their rivals. When I moved to Las Vegas, I was not sure I was going to find a place that could stock up. My go-to place for the best Philly cheek steak in Southern California was Frank's Philadelphia. That was the closest thing I had found. But now, I have one that ranks right up there with Frank's as one of the best Philadelphia cheesecakes I have had. I had heard about this place on a little segment that the news channel did, and knew we had to check it out. It was super close, and just about a 10-minute drive from the house so it was easy to get to and just a short walk. It's a small place, but that keeps it warm and cozy. Was definitely greeted when we walked in the door by the people behind the counter as well as Scott the owner. You definitely got that Philly vibe when you walk in the place, and let me tell you they deliver on the cheesesteak! These guys do it right, it's hot on the grill and they are made so perfectly, it almost brings a tear to my eye. The bread they use was phenomenal. Had just the right amount of crunch on the outside and yet soft on the inside. A perfect holster for the Philly cheese steak that was lying within. And let's talk about those fries, I like my Fry's extra crispy and had asked for that. Got to tell you they were some of the best french fries I have had in Las Vegas. They were perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. Bottom line? If I'm going for cheese steak I would be hard-pressed to find a better place than this. I highly recommend if you are in the Las Vegas area you go check them out.

I love cheesesteaks. I had really high hopes for this place based on other reviews. Unfortunately, I wasn't overly impressed with this place. I ordered the filet mignon steak and fries. My total with no drink almost cost me $40. The food came quickly. Unfortunately, the cheesesteak was quite dry and the fries lacked any flavor. Regretfully, I won't be back. For what I paid, this should have been the best cheesesteak ever. But it wasn't.

We've been wanting to check this place out and see what the hype was about.. we love cheesesteaks so we had to know. They are located in Town Square on Las Vegas Boulevard right next to the AMC Theatre. There is no sign on the outside of the building but there was a sandwich board on the sidewalk in front. We entered and instead of being greeted by someone behind the counter we were greeted with three self ordering kiosks. We ordered a classic cheesesteak and anxiously awaited for it to be ready. The cook working the grill dud not have a hat or hairnet. Our order came up in a timely manner and the cheesesteak was hot and flavorful. The steak was larger and clumpier pieces than I'm used to in a cheesesteak but it was seasoned well and tasted great; the texture was just different, I'm used to the shaved ribeye. Apparently the GOAT works the grill occasionally because there was a sandwich board inside that said so.. maybe it's different when he's cooking.

As usual The Cheesesteak was exceptionally great! Needed a bit more Coopers sharp cheese on it for our taste but very good! Ordered fries at counter, she must not of heard me. Just got a sandwich. Asked to order fries, okay, no charge, we never got them. Opposite of the service we received last trip in. They were filling many TO GO orders. But, I really wanted fries! They are so good there. Get what you pay for I guess. Still highly recommend!!

I'm happy to report I found the best Philly cheese steak sandwiches right here in Vegas. My husband and son got the special and I got the classic. I originally was going to get a salad but they were out of lettuce. They let me change it to the classic without making me pay the difference. I wasn't very hungry so was only planning to eat light but damn the sandwich was so well made and had so much flavor. The bread was perfectly toasty and I did not find the meat greasy. Everything was freshly made and we were all very happy with our food. I will say the fries were not as crispy as I like them and I would pass on adding those next time. Service was extremely friendly and professional. There are a good amount of tables even though the place seems small. It was comfy and clean.

We ordered a classic sandwich and some fries. I liked the fries a lot and they reminded me of Five Guys fries but with a lot more seasoning. The sandwich was pretty good but I'm not a fan of the sesame seeds on the bread and there's a lot of them. They surprisingly gave me some mayo with the sandwich and I ended up using it and really liked it. The meat was good quality. A few things that can improve are the dangerous front door that slams very loudly and they need to have some ice for their bottled drinks. It's Vegas and it too hot not to be able to have some ice.

Definitely a little over hyped in my opinion. There is no sign on the outside of the building so a little hard to find . We were not greeted when we walked in but they had 3 kiosks to order from . We went with the classic $21 (a little pricey for a sandwich) . The flavor of the Philly was good but I am not a fan of the shaved ribeye as it was more chunky pieces and didn't seem to have a lot of cheese the bread was delicious though. The presentation of the sandwich was a little sloppy .

The Cooper Sharp revolution is real... maybe I'm a decade late, but I get why the current cheesesteak Meta is cooper sharp and sesame roll... it's delicious! Shay's is tucked away under the movie theater at town square... casual, simple place with friendly folks running the place. Really great steaks and excellent fries... high quality ingredients put together perfectly. Awesome.

Really yummy and good flavor with a lot of meat! This place is in town square next to Velocity on the bottom floor. There was a party of 6 of us and we came in around 9pm. It was all empty. We ordered the great Gabe and fries. It was quick coming out and the fries were super hot and crispy. It had so much meat but I think it was a little pricey still for a Philly cheesesteak. Whole bill came out to be $32. The meat was very flavorful and definitely perfect for 2 people to split. It had good amount of cheese, peppers, onions and the hash brown. I didn't know it came with hash brown and felt like it didn't need it. The staff were all very friendly and chill. The chef even asked us how's the food and checked in on us too.

Delicious, Philly cheesesteak made to order. Feels/tastes quite authentic too! I got the Philly Cheesesteak - New York Strip, Cooper Sharp Cheese, Red Garlic Jalapeno Seasoning, Sautéed Onions & Peppers. Next time I'll add mushrooms! High quality beef and veggies and a great portion. Lots of seating and clean.

Shay's Steaks has officially landed in Vegas, bringing its elevated take on the iconic Philly cheesesteak. What makes Shay's even more special is the story behind it. The restaurant was inspired by Judge Scott DiClaudio, a Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas judge who grew up working in his family's neighborhood luncheonette, Shay's, which was owned by his parents. His wife, Jackee, brought those childhood memories back to life by opening Shay's Steaks and naming it after Scott's late mother, Sylvia "Shay" DiClaudio. Together, they created a modern cheesesteak shop that honors their family's legacy while using premium cuts of beef and top-quality ingredients. We had to try three of their signature sandwiches: The Classic - Prime rib, Cooper Sharp cheese, buttery steakhouse seasoning, and sautéed onions. A timeless Philly favorite. My fave The Dreamchaser - Made with tender filet mignon, Cooper Sharp cheese, buttery steakhouse seasoning, sautéed onions. Designed by Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill. The Durkin - A buffalo chicken cheesesteak loaded with Cooper Sharp cheese and buttery buffalo sauce. Inspired by Lacrosse Legend Tucker Durkin. Love how they seasoned, not overpowering Shay's Steaks is definitely worth adding to your Vegas food list. Its located below the AMC theaters inside Town Square

Shay's Steaks is one of the best Philly cheesesteak shops in Las Vegas. I was in the area visiting the Shelby Museum and was looking for places to eat at around 11:00 A.M on a Sunday. When I saw the new restaurant, Shay's Steaks in Town Square, I had to go try it out. My husband has never had an authentic Philly Cheesesteak before with the sesame roll and cooper cheese. When I saw it listed on the menu, I just had to go! Shay's Steaks is located right next to the AMC in Town Square, though there isn't currently a sign listed. There should be one in a few weeks though. It is family owned restaurant and they ship in their bread from Philly, which is pretty cool! There was only one other customer at the time and they were just opening the restaurant for the day. Looking over their menu, Shay's Steaks has a lot of different options You can craft your own steak sandwich Make a wrap or quesadilla Some of their precrafted signature sandwiches include the Philly Special, Dunkin and more! We ended up getting the following The Classic: Prime Rib, Cooper Sharp Cheese, Buttery Steakhouse Seasoning and the sautéed onions Plain Remi James: It's the classic without onions. Everything was cooked fresh on the flat top. It's also a open kitchen! The cheesesteak with the onions came out first, then the Plain Remi James. Oh the sandwich tasted like I was in Philly having a cheesesteak! It was so good. The sesame roll and the cooper cheese was fantastic! If you're a cheesesteak fan, you should go and try out Shay's Steaks. Their current hours listed on the menu is 7 days a week from 10:30 A.M to 11:00 P.M. I spoke with the manager, and they're planning on opening two more locations in Las Vegas! Food is great here and service is fantastic! I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Do NOT skip out on this place if you want a true, authentic cheesesteak. We decided to give this place a try and it was incredible. They have different types of meats to choose from, along with different toppings and cheeses, so it's great for all including a picky eater. We did a few make your owns, as well as a grilled cheese, which was equally incredible. Whatever seasoning they use on their fries was good too. At first I thought maybe the fries would be just ok by looking at them but I was pleasantly surprised. The inside isn't too big but comfortable enough for a quick bite to eat. When we went it they are still in their soft opening phase so there's still some improvements being made but don't let that stop you because the food is worth stopping in for! I also have to give a shout out to Leo and everyone who works there, you walk in and they make you feel welcome, which is such a nice change of pace from a lot of places. I truly wish this place much success because it's nice to finally have a place out here with a really great true cheesesteak!

I sincerely doubt that the steak sandwiches that we've tried are anything like what you'd get in Philadelphia. We've got the typical food court rejects from people who are very careless and hate their jobs. Both our sandwiches were made with dried out crunchy meats. My husband ordered a pizza steak with extra cheese. He got dried out crunchy beef sandwich without sauce and a microscopic amount of cheese on it. He did say that the person that handed him his order seemed nice. I tried a chicken hoagie steak sandwich. It was packed with LOTS of dried out over cooked crunchy chicken/ It was slathered with maybe a 1/4 cup of mayonnaise. It had sautéed peppers. Oddly it had pickle chips on it. Today it was missing the lettuce. It also was missing raw onions but I could find a cooked onion in it and it did have a very thin tomato slice. It was very large. I brought home some crunchy dried out chicken for my dogs. We are originally from Philadelphia. I didn't eat many cheesteaks when I lived there. If this was my first one I would never try one again. A word of warning. They only have high top tables in this food court.
