Hi all! I'm back with another review for Picanha. I have visited Picanha a great amount of time over the years. Service is consistent and so is the food quality. I love that they offer a casual dine-in experience. My favorite thing on the menu continues to be the Picanha plate platter. I recently went with a friend who tried the chicken sandwich and I tried the queso tacos. He said the chicken sandwich was delicious. The queso tacos were good but I would have liked the meat in smaller pieces inside the taco. Not a big deal though. I also ordered a side of fries. Huge fan of their fries and their green creamy, side sauce. I'll continue to come by. I love it here! read more

Weekday lunch take out. Ordered a picanha lunch with rice and fried yucca and kids meal with chicken. The picanha was flavorful and paired with a Aji verde like sauce. Great seasoning and nice beefy taste. Might be a little chewy for a child and didn't have the fat cap you would expect. The chicken was similar, nice flavor and cooked well. Sides were pretty standard, I like the fried yuca fries. Overall a nice lunch and good protein options. read more

Came here for an early Friday evening dinner based on a recommendation from a friend. Small dining area was lit up by the warm smile of our server, who quickly greeted us while also facilitating to-go orders. We opted for the picanha & cheese sandwich with fries and the surf and turf plate with fried yucca and veggies. ($24.99) The sandwich was an awesome take on a philly cheesteak. My brother was craving meat, and I didn't want KBBQ so we came here! Such a yummy place. Service is quick and our server was delightful. I went during their lunch special and it was pretty worth! Parking was easy to find and when we entered we sat ourselves and the server comes to take our order. He was rly friendly and explained the menu well. The place was pretty small and it gave me fast food vibes. The lunch special was 15.99 and it came w the Picanha steak along with 2 sides. The sauce was super yummy made the dish come together. The steak was pretty good for the price. It was cooked to a perfect medium for me Not the most tender but it was good enough to make me satisfied. Overall 9/10 and I would define my come back. Pichanha is located in the SW on Rainbow/Warm Springs. It was a busy evening but service was great! We ordered arepitas stuffed with cheese, fried plantains, pork belly taco & a steak sandwich with parmesan fries. Appetizers came out first. The plantains were crispy and salted and came with a sour cream for dipping, I'm used to the sweeter plantains and this one is definitely savory. The arepitas were crispy on the outside and filled with a good amount of cheese. Both were okay for me. The pork belly taco was really good. The meat was tender and juicy. The steak sandwich was also tender and juicy and full of flavor. I like that the bread didn't get soggy at all. The sauce it was served with was good. We upgraded to the parmesan fries and they were crisp and tasty. Our server came to check on us often even though it was busy. Menu has something for everyone! read more

Exceptional customer service with really good food! This Brazilian bistro has been on my radar for quite sometime now, so I was really excited to finally try it. It has this Modern Western style, that's tidy and well-kept with a few indoor tables to dine in. The server greeted us immediately, letting us know that we can sit wherever we preferred. She was very attentive and knowledgeable when it came to ordering our food. This place is decently priced, but we decided to share one of the Picanha plates since they looked pretty plentiful. Our server was kind enough to bring an extra plate which was a very nice gesture. We ordered our steak medium rare, but it ended up being closer to medium. It still tasted good, not tough, but it had a bit of grizzle. The mac cheese was lacking on flavor, so it was subpar at best. I will say, the sausage and fries were the best thing on our plate. When you dipped them into the two sauces it was absolutely heavenly. They offer a lunch special on specific days and times, so I'm definitely wanting to go back and try some of their other meal options. read more

I was driving through the Southwest area of town and decided to hit up Picanha again after remembering how good it is. We arrived when they first opened and were greeted right away. We sat at a table and were brought menus. We ordered the Picanha plate which included sausage and two sides which we picked black beans and roasted veggies. We also ordered a Picanha lunch special with fries and caesar salad. Our food arrived hot and fresh. Everything was tasty and the salad was crisp and fresh. The Picanha had such good flavor and was cooked perfectly. The service was top notch. I'll have to try the grilled cheese or tacos next time I come in. I honestly can't stop thinking about how good this meal was. The picanha sandwich was seriously one of the best I've had. The steak was incredibly tender and juicy, and every bite was packed with so much flavor. It tasted fresh, well seasoned, and just cooked perfectly. They were really crispy and actually had flavor on their own, not plain at all. The sauce that came with them was so good too and made the fries even better. I kept going back for more of it. The atmosphere inside was another thing I really loved. The decorations felt cozy, unique, and different from most places. It had a really warm and welcoming vibe that made you want to just sit there and enjoy your food. They had good music playing as well. The service was amazing. Our server was so nice, bubbly, and attentive. You could tell they genuinely cared about giving a good experience, and they made us feel really comfortable and taken care of the entire time. This was one of those meals where there truly wasn't a single thing I could complain about. Everything from the food, to the atmosphere, to the service was amazing. We ordered the Picanha Sandwich with the parm fries to go and it was delicious! I like how they put the sauces on the side. The steak was juicy and tender. The bread was crispy but soft. When I came into pick up my order I noticed the decoration and the brick style walls with the nice lighting. The service to get my food and pay was quick and they seemed friendly. Went to PICANHA on a Sunday evening around 5:30 PM, and it was such a great little spot for a Brazilian steakhouse experience without the heavy price tag or long dining commitment of places like Texas de Brazil or Fogo de Chão. The food quality was excellent--everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The prices were very fair for what you get. The service was also fantastic, even though there was only one woman managing the whole place as it started to get busy. It's a small spot, but she handled everything like a pro! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I left feeling a little bit hungry, so the portion-to-value ratio could be improved just a bit. I accidentally placed an order for rainbow location at 12:43 pm instead of downtown I called them twice and left voice messages twice. I then place an order for the downtown location and they call to confirm to me it's downtown. I tell them yes also ask them to please cancel the order for rainbow as I called them twice and left them voice messages. I called at 5pm hoping I can get ahold of someone, I spoke with front desk they told me no so I was then transferred to the owner me and him were arguing and he kept telling me if I want him to lose money and hung up on me. The picanha steak plate with fried yucca is the best. Service was nice but I was disappointed that they short changed me. I was supposed to get $10.76 back and the waitress only brought me $10.... No mention of a sorry that they did not have change just dropped off the money like I was not going to recognize it?!! Either have change or at least let the customer know that you don't have it.
