Part diner, part jazz club? Whatever it is, it's a great mash up of genres. We stopped by after a conference at Chautauqua Institution for breakfast and really enjoyed the art, the food, the music (we got live piano at breakfast who cool is that?!), the service, and the company.

Second visit. Really worth the time to go so as to support live music. Made a reservation, but it was unnecessary. Greeted quickly and seated quickly. Party of four and we agreed the wait service was awkward and uneven. She took our drink order immediately, but a little slow to come out. Our food order was quick to come out. Too quick...as conversation over a drink was mot possible. Our friend had the lasagna and was quite satisfied. Our other halves had the strip steak and both were satisfied. I had the prime rib and it had excellent flavor, but was not hot. Waitress did not try to sell us a second drink or dessert. We enjoyed the owner who visited our table and "She Sings." Great entertainment.

Wiki stix for the kids! What a win these were. We even bought some after our lunch.

I've been here twice. Both times I was pleased. I had the same waitress, super friendly lady. I've had the chicken sandwich and the tuna sandwich. I've brought my kids. And it was approved by them. The ambiance here is really nice. An open airy feeling. It's like you are at your family cafe. If you're in town please give this local place a try!

We waited for the end of season to try this place. Old Dicks /Chautauqua Harbor House in a new wrapper. The updates to the interior, ceiling, tables, etc have certainly brightened up the space and feels clean. It took awhile to get our order in considering only 3 tablets were seated. I ordered breakfast and my wife the lunch special. Coffee was good and strong, breakfast was fine. My wife felt the same about her chicken & Biscuits meal. Overall 2.5 People like what they like and this might be what you're looking for.

Food is AMAZING went there 2 mornings in a row with a friend before we had to go into work! Service was great first day! The second was acceptable service considering being busy.. GREAT place overall owner seems to be well involved :)

    Live music and wonderful cuisine!

If you want to experience something special in Mayville, NY and the surrounding area, I would like to recommend She Sings Cafe! This beautiful restaurant has lake views & is newly renovated. She Sings Cafe offers the best cuisine in the area! They also offer a full bar with an extensive wine list. The owner, Rebecca Magnuson, is often found behind the piano to entertain with a long list of great songs. Guest artists come to entertain often as well. It's the perfect place for a perfect time!

0-2. The service and food were not good both times we tried She Sings, once for breakfast and once for lunch. Won't be returning.

The food, service, and ambiance were all very enjoyable! The origin story of the restaurant is fascinating. And the view is wonderful.

Walking in, I instantly loved the vibe -- cozy, welcoming, and the smell of fresh-baked goods hits you the moment you step through the door. It's the kind of place that feels like home, no matter how long you've been away. For lunch, I went with the 4-inch sub and, let me tell you, it was the perfect size for me. It was plenty of food and I couldn't even finish it (which is rare!). It came with one of their famous pink stripe cookies, which was just as delicious as I remembered. Soft, sweet, and totally iconic. We sat at the counter, and I love that vibe. You order and pay at the register, and they deliver your food. Ecklof's isn't just a bakery; they serve breakfast and lunch too, with a full bakery case that's impossible to resist. If you haven't been here yet (or it's been a while), it's definitely worth a visit. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or sitting down to enjoy the atmosphere, it's a true Jamestown gem.

I like that they actually put the goodies in a nice pastry box instead of just throwing them into a bag. With a long car ride back to Philly, we've never had damaged cupcakes:) the folks who work here are always really nice and patient while I'm looking around and can't decide what I want. Prices are great for fresh backed goods. Highly recommend!

The case was full of tempting choices, and everything looked amazing. The maple cream donut was absolute heaven -- the glaze had just the right touch of maple to balance the thick, tender dough. The edges were perfectly crispy, and the texture was unlike any donut I've ever had. The glazed twist was equally delicious. The coffee was very good, though a little too hot to enjoy right away. The only real downside was the lack of seating -- no tables or chairs inside, despite the large open lobby, and no benches outside either. We ended up eating in the car. That said, the donuts were so good we went back in for more. Definitely worth the stop! It was so good, we brought friends with us the following morning because donuts this good need to be shared with friends. And best of all...maybe prices were insanely cheap!!! No wonder people were walking out with two and three dozen...
