I got my braids done my Halle yesterday, and was absolutely thrilled with the service she provided. My natural hair is very short, maybe an inch or two, and she was able to grip it and make sure my hair is nice and neat. Plus she only took 5 hours, whereas other places I've been to would have taken literally all day. She is very kind and patient, and was okay with it being a mostly quiet appointment, since I can be kind of shy sometimes. We had conversations every now and then, and overall it was an amazing vibe within the shop. I will definitely be back next time I want my hair done and will make sure to recommend Halle to friends and family. It's definitely worth the trip from Rancho Cucamonga. read more

My daughter wanted box braids for a soccer tournament. We called and spoke to Elle the shop owner she kindly asked what service we were interested in to which I explained braids for my daughter. I went to Shear Bliss for the first time today and had my appointment with Naomi. She is amazing!!! I walked in with jet black hair and walked out with blonde hair and 24inch extensions/weave. She is such a sweet and kind woman who can do some hair. I am so happy I found her and this salon and don't have to drive out of the valley. Very warm and tended to me right away and the establishment itself is very clean beautifully decorated! I liked that they took the time to treat me like an individualized client, wanting to get to know ME. I can tell they are the type of people that cater to your specific needs as all our needs are different. That really meant a lot to me. I don't like to be looked at like a client with a dollar sign over my forehead but I rather it be as building and establishing a strong relationship between client and professional. I had my hair braided at this salon back in February. My appointment was scheduled for 6:30pm and I had to be at the LAX by 8:30pm. The person whom I had the appointment with (I don't recall her name) was late. Around 6:45pm my first instinct was to walk away, but stupid me decided to wait. She texted me several times letting me know that she was nearby and she lived not far from the salon, but nonetheless managed to be half an hour late. I have never experienced such awful braiding. I asked for the most simplest thing, which was a single braid on each side without adding any hair. Typically it takes about 10 min to braid my short hair, but she couldn't get it right. The braids in the back looked very isometrical, and she slapped so much gel on my hair that I had to wipe it off with baby wipes on my way to the airport. By the time I got to the airport, the gel dried and my hair was crusty. As soon as I got to my gate, I went to the restroom and unbraided my hair; I was too embarrassed to be seen with that mess on my head. I should have followed my first instinct and left the salon when the person wasn't there at the set appointment time, but instead I wasted an hour of my time and was out of $40. read more

Went for the first time a few weeks ago & had an appointment with Chuck. I had a wash & press - He got me in & out in 2 hours flat and was quite professional. Given the area, I would say he was a bit overpriced for his services, but I loved the way my hair felt when I left. The styling was alright, but my hair felt silky and not dry like it normally feels when I leave a lot of hair dressers. If I'm ever in that neck of the woods again, I will visit again. After only 3 visits with her she literally transformed my eyebrows from misshaped and uneven brows to full and beautiful brows I never knew I could have!
