Then later they sent me a reminder for my appointment so I texted the text line (it was after hours at that point) to make sure they actually canceled it, they didn't. Short story, they harassed me at work the next day MULTIPLE times, about not having it on file that I canceled, had the nerve to ask me for screen shots of my call log to prove I called etc, I said sure! Then they went silent for several hours, then emailed me saying they were going to "wave the cancelation fee" WHAT CANCELLATION FEE?! I literally canceled more than 24 hours in advance therefor there was no cancellation fee to wave?? They have the worst customer service, so glad I didn't give my money to a place with such horrible organization and customer service! Don't let them scam you!

The next morning of my appt I wasn't well, very nauseas. I called to let them know I'll have to reschedule after my antibiotics were done. All she said is... well you spoke to the nurse right and she cleared you regarding the antibiotics? I said yes.. she said so we'll have to charge you... hope it was worth the $50! Response to Mary after my original message... Thank you for the response, Mary. However, it misses the point entirely. While I understand and respect cancellation policies, they are typically designed to prevent 'no-shows' or casual cancellations, not to penalize a client experiencing a sudden medical crisis. I was proactive and transparent with your nurse the night before. Unfortunately, health situations--especially those requiring multiple rounds of intensive antibiotics--can escalate unexpectedly overnight. Expecting a patient to 'predict' they will be too ill to leave the house 24 hours in advance during a medical emergency is unreasonable. Offering to have me come in 'later that day' when I had already explained I was unwell and under strict medical care shows a complete lack of empathy and basic listening. When we booked, we specifically requested two female therapists. We were both initially given female therapists and the massage started. The massages themselves were also extremely disappointing. There was essentially no pressure or real massage technique--my therapist mostly put oil on my back and rubbed in circles. Justin said he was experiencing basically the same thing with his massage. Then, halfway through our massages, we suddenly started hearing a man's voice in the room. We realized that my fiancés facefemale therapist had apparently been replaced by a male therapist. Nobody asked us, nobody told us, and nobody explained what was happening. We had specifically requested female therapists, so having Justin's therapist changed to a man without our knowledge or consent was incredibly uncomfortable. We were not given an explanation when we questioned it. I eventually became so upset that I got dressed and walked out. A manager came in, but we still did not receive a reasonable explanation for why this happened. This was supposed to be a relaxing birthday experience for my fiancé, and instead we left feeling uncomfortable, confused, and extremely disappointed. Staffing issues happen, but you communicate with your customers and ask before making a significant change to the service they specifically requested. Changing someone's therapist halfway through a massage without saying anything is not acceptable to us. I would not return.
