I asked her a million questions because I had no idea what type of cut I needed. She told me she could fit me into her schedule 2 hours before pictures. Nervously, I confirmed. When I arrived 15 minutes late (my fault), Fawzeya was nothing but super friendly and professional. She asked me how I wanted my cut, and I said "you're the pro, just make me look good please". I'm not sure of the exact number of years of experience she told me she has, but I think she told me 42 years, she must've started when she was an infant. I'm so glad that she was able to fit me into her schedule because the wedding photos were beautiful, my hair feels great, and everyone is still telling me how amazing it looks! This has been my best experience in terms of outcome and financial. I previously had a bayalage…read moreand a couple of partial highlights. However, you have to keep bleaching to keep the roots fresh and color grey hairs. My hair was dry and brassy, needed dimensions, deep conditioning, and toning. I needed a lowlight or reverse bayalage. I checked Groupons to save money but sometimes you're not getting their best work because it's cheaper and they're not getting as much money or sometimes they charge more for long hair etc. I even got turned away by one color expert called "Hair by Christopher" on Groupons who told me after looking at pictures of my hair, he responded "It's more work than I want to take on.I don't feel comfortable taking it on. Sorry." He claims he a color expert and had good reviews but he was not compassionate nor caring about my situation. Anyways, I checked yelp instead. I reached out to as many stylists I could that would respond right away, educate me, would answers my questions and had good reviews. I wasn't sure if anyone was going to be able to save my hair but I knew I needed lowlights and never had one plus I didn't want to lose all my highlights either. During the appointment itself, things seemed fine. She blow-dried and curled my hair so I could see the results. I paid in full, including tip, and left the salon without noticing any immediate issues. However, a few days later, when I went to style my hair into a slick bun (which is required for my sister's wedding), I noticed significant blotchiness and dark spots throughout my blonde hair on the top of my head. It was very noticeable and not what I expected after a professional service. I reached out to Jasmin early in the morning and did not receive a response until several hours later. When she did respond, she said she did not have time to fix my hair and suggested I go to another stylist and ask them to correct it. I explained that I needed her to fix it before the wedding, but she said she could only see me two weeks later. I asked if she could recommend someone at the salon or make any effort to help resolve the issue sooner, but she declined. I also offered flexibility with my schedule, including weekends, but was told she was not comfortable servicing me and she ultimately refused to fix the problem.
