Couple college friends came in town tonight, 5 of us got 2 hookah! Saw others had water on the table, so I asked for 5 only to find out it doesn't come with the Hookah, because it's 2 dollars per Poland spring! The staff here is horrible and very unprofessional, service was awful as well. The place definitely needs remodeling. The menu claims to have fruit bowls, and when I tried to order a hookah with a fruit bowl I was told they were "out" but I'm pretty sure they just don't carry them. I went to Sheesha for the first time last weekend and was very pleasantly surprised. Even though it was expensive ($25 for a hookah plus extra for coals and ice) I gave it 5 stars because the pricing at other places is the same if not more. The woman there was really nice and helpful and seemed to care alot about the customers. The seating was nice, though there are only 2 booths that I imagine get taken quickly ( we didn't get them), but the other bench seating is fairly comfy. They had a TV on mute in the corner, as well as board games and photography books. Everyone there was quiet and respectful of others around them. The shisha was mainly Al-Fakhr but there was also Starbuzz at the same price in limited flavors. The music was also good, and no one seemed too pretentious. All in all, it was great and I will definitely be coming back. Note that their is only a limited menu and only 4 ppl per hookah allowed. read more

This was my second time in this place. I had a some friends visiting from NY and we went to Sheesha Lounge for some great hookah (they have lots of flavors). The wait staff was very accommodating although we didn't had a reservation for that evening. They were able to sit us in only 10 min without a reservation which was awesome. The atmosphere was great and the service was outstanding. This is the right place to go if you're looking for a place to chill and relax after a long week. read more

I've been coming here for years and it never disappoints! Customer service is always amazing. It's funny because I never smoke anything other than mint and I smoke Boston blaze everytime I come. Whenever the coals start to dim out they come right away to change it. Sully is there all the time and is always in a good mood :) . The music is awesome and the atmosphere is eccentric. I've met some cool people here and everyone is pretty social. Sheesha Lounge is freaking AMAZING... I just don't know where to start with all the great things that I want to say about this place!!! The service is incredibly warm, friendly and personable. The night we came in we were treated like royalty (but not in a weird way) by every employee on the premises. What I mean is that ALL of our needs were attended to promptly and we never had to wait for anything. Our server who was super, SUPER NICE was happy to just chat with us and was like hanging out with an old friend. Also, all of the other people in Sheesha (the other patrons) were all really cool, and friendly, and the whole mood or "vibe" in there was just totally awesome. I'm not really a big hookah smoker, and I haven't been to any other hookah lounges in Boston, but my friends who live in Allston told me that Sheesha is their go to spot and that it is way better than anything else in the Boston area... I am giving them one star because of an experience when I went with my friend on a Saturday night, September 9, 2017. We had our names put on a list that looked like a napkin and a man wrote our phone number down to call last one there would be a spot ready for us. A wait is fine, and totally understandable because it is a Saturday night after all. We were told 40-45 mins. No problem! An hour later and we went in just to see if there was an estimated time frame, and a different guy said to me "what are you doing in here? He hasn't called you yet". Honestly, we should've left after that. Instead we waited outside for 10 or 15 mins. Went back inside and it was about 1:05am at this point (they close at 2). Literally everyone else who came after us was seated. The guy who originally took the phone number said "maybe 25 more minutes I don't know" then looked at the clock and said "well, we close at 2 so I don't know what to tell you". We asked if we could wait inside, and were told no. I do understand partially because it's tight in there. 5 more mins of waiting and we just left. Was never treated with any kind of respect or apology. So in other words, because it's busy they feel free to be rude and neglect customers while choosing to treat others like royalty bumping them up the list. Won't ever come back read more

Then we went downstairs to the Sheesha lounge.... hukkah/ cigar bar. Sheesha is another word for hukkah. Same dark- sultry-red ambience. You can sit at a regular coffee table or pay $30 extra & sit in the Bedouin cave. It's a 6 ft by 5ft mud hut with cushions on the floor to sit on/ recline on. 4 regular sized people or 2 large people can fit in comfortably.... Any more will be too crowded. $30 for a single flavour hukkah. $45 for more flavors. The belly dancer comes down there too. The server girls were clueless about the services offered. The men servers knew better. The place is filled with smoke as in any cigar bar. So if you have asthma or allergies, you might want to take a walk in there before deciding if you can tolerate the smoke or not. All in all it was a fun experience. Well done Mr. Naamad. read more

Personally, this place deserves NO stars, but yelp does not have that option. I was there one night with my girlfriend, we got there about about 11:45, they told us that there is a chance we might not get to sit down, because it's an hour wait and they legally have to stop letting people in at 1:00am. I didn't mind, and figured we'd give it a shot. It gets to about 12:55 and I go in and ask what the chances are of us getting a table. The waitress there barks at me "I told you, you may not get to sit down. Now please go wait outside." I'm on my way outside when a group of girls stops me to tell me that they were just waiting for the bill. I reply back to them "Oh that's great! My girlfriend and I..." I am interrupted by the waitress as she's yelling at me to go outside and saying it's inappropriate to be telling them to hurry up. I'm sorry, but I work in the service industry. I know not to tell someone to hurry up. So she practically forced me out because I was stopped. So what does the waitress do? She waits to bring them the check at 1:00 am exactly and then comes out to say "we are no longer serving people" then slams the door behind her. I will never set foot back in that lounge unless the entire staff are changed, because as a local from Brighton, all I hear are horror stories from this place. The best Hookah in Boston to say the least. The place is not that big but its very comfortable! My friends and I always go here and we have great service every time. This place is almost always busy at night and super busy on the weekends. I have gone to the NIle and Habibis but this place has the best hookah here in Boston. They are good about changing the coals, and be attentive. They are a fun group of people who work there and are always smiling so it adds to the atmosphere. This place is pricey and the staff is rude. I was visiting Boston to look at schools and the plan was to make some friends while I was here. The staff wouldn't let me use a hookah that two of the guests willingly left me after they left, and then later moved two guests I was talking to and wouldn't let me move with them. They are insinuating I am about to be removed so they can fit more people. Worst service I have ever recieved at a hookah bar, second worst service I have received ever. There are a dozen hookah bars in this city, do yourself a favor and go someplace else. My review wasn't posting and it's a good thing it didn't. Apparently they have an hour and a half time limit which they didn't advertise anywhere or warn me about at the door. Y'all let me tell y'all about my night. A bunch of us went out tonight and discovered how much colorism still exists in the black and African communities. Don't EVER EVER EVER go to Sheesha lounge in Allston. The worst place you can ever do. The servers are colorists and have horrible customer service skills. I've never seen a business conduct it's self the way me and my friends were treated tonight. Walked in, and weren't even greeted. Sat around for a while until we had to get up and go up for menus. Then one of the servers rudely says "show your ids" in the most condescending way and rolls his eyes at us. Our group notices his bad vibes from the moment he approached us and still tried to give it a chance. But the server still continues to be a jerk. He keeps barking and being rude but we still try to give it a chance. We all are pulling out our ids and trying to be friendly and make conversation and server continues to be nasty. We ask him to clean our table (which is filthy) he rolls his eyes. He's asked: "where are you from?" Server: "planet earth" *rolls eyes* At this point our table has had a enough and proceed to exit. Before we do we ask him what his issue is and talk with "owner". "Owner" tries to defend servers behavior. They then both are put in their place by proud Dark skin Africans. Please! whatever you do, don't go to this place. It's dirty, dinghy, and has horrible customer service. You basically have to beg to be serviced and made to feel horrible! Is there a long wait? Yes, but it is worth it. They don't pressure you to leave which is why it's a great place to hang out.

I've been to only a few hookah bars but Sheesha Lounge is my favorite. The service is absolutely fantastic. If you take the time to be personable, and chat with your server, rather than demanding everything under the sun, then you'll love them. My issue is with people who demand the servers around and act like hookah connoisseurs, buy your own hookah and do it yourself. The sheesha is cheap, and they have a ton of flavors. I definitely recommend going. The place is small, so if there is a wait you have to wait outside, which isn't a big deal, but people tend to complain about that for no reason too. read more

We tried this place with a Groupon Now deal and were pleasantly surprised by this little lounge. We were in the mood for hookah and upon arrival were greeted by a friendly employee. We were the only two there (at 6p...late night gets packed), and although their heater was broken, it was a nice, relaxing experience. The employee catered to our every need (even before we knew we needed it) and helped us pick out the Orange Creamsicle sheesha for something different. We ended up hanging out there for about an hour and half, enjoying a movie and some tea. The vibe here is very laid-back and comfortable - just what you'd want for a hookah lounge.
