The Buckland- egg, sausage, cheddar, and maple syrup on an everything bagel. Boom!

We were hitting the road and needed some breakfast and coffee. The space is small with a takeout window and some outdoor seating. But the freshly roasted coffee is deep rich and fresh. And the sandwich list is appealing, especially if you throw maple syrup on a breakfast sammy! The egg, ham and cheddar on an everything bagel with some syrup was killer! Washed down with a little dark roast. Perfect!

I love this location. It's ridiculously close to my apartment so I often find myself at this one frequently. The employees are kind and the outdoor seating is really great on a summer or fall afternoon. While there's no seating inside, that just makes it even more perfect for these pandemic days because you won't be worried about standing next to folks sans masks. I love the sunrise smoothie and their bagels. Perfect lunch or afternoon snack. And they're vanilla hot chocolate is the perfect treat on a cold day. Delightful.

Being a frequent flyer at the Shelburne Coffee in Greenfield, I decided to stop in at this branch this morning before work in Northampton. This location is much smaller than the shop in Greenfield and I have to say that I was fairly dissapointed with my visit. Walking in the place felt a bit cramped since it is small. It doesn't help that they have a ton of random merchandise for sale and that the outdoor chairs were still in the store after being open for an hour. The staff here was OK, but not what I expected for Shelburne. In Greenfield they greet everyone who enters and this shop didn't have the same enthusiasm. The Coconut Iced Coffee I bought was great as always, but the Greenfield breakfast sandwich was sloppy and they didn't even take the time to cut it. The other critique I had was that I felt like an outsider being here and I couldn't have gotten out any faster. I felt like they were staring and waiting for me to quickly leave. In the end, I will continue to stop at the store in Greenfield because of their great service and I will only stop here in the future if it is necessary.

Even on chillier days, I am tempted to sit outside and people watch

There are a ton of coffee shops in the area, but Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters is my favorite "regular" coffee around. They have their specialty through some pumpkin spice or coconut cream which are predictably delicious. There is no seating indoors, but I have attached a picture of what some of the outdoor seating looks like. Many people and grab a coffee and walk up the street and shop. I usually come up here to grab a coffee before going up to this amazing dog park about five minutes from here At the location of an old mental hospital/institution that is now operated as agricultural property of Smith College. Although not advertised, they do offer a vegetarian sausage by MorningStar. The best snacks here are biscotti and assorted coffee cakes and scones. I usually get the freshly made egg and cheese sandwich. Also, if you're looking for stuff to do locally, they have some of the most unique fires up anywhere in this area. I will also attach one of those. At the end of the day, this is really good even coffee. Cancel that, at the beginning or middle of the day is when the shop is open. :)

While the staff have changed and I was sad to miss Mary's face I was happy to enjoy a sugar maple nut cold brew and enjoy the patio before darting off.

We had our pup with us, so spots where we could sit down were even more limited, but luckily, a lunch at Familiars was only a very long line away. While the group waited outside at one of the sidewalk tables, I went inside to order at the counter. I got the chicken salad sandwich and have to say I was so surprised by how delicious it was. I'm not from here, so from just the outside and where you order, I thought they were a cafe first with food options, but nope. Definitely wrong, they make a great sandwich. And the coffees were also delicious! Baristas and team were all friendly, the space inside was very cool, cozy and comfortable and they had plenty of outside tables as well. You order at the counter and they will bring all of the food out to you, you also grab your own waters inside. A nice mix of casual and service. If I was local or visiting when I needed a space to bring my laptop and get some remote work done, this seems like a great option.

First, tons of outdoor seating, the outside is gorgeous and so welcoming. I got one of their spring specials, the Sugar Bush Latte. The latte had the perfect amount of flavor and not too much sweetness (which I prefer). Before I left, I also got an iced black tea and an iced americano for my husband. The iced black tea was perfection, flavorful yet still bitter. The iced americano (unsweet) confirmed that their espresso was DELISH.

The menu highlights locally sourced ingredients and seasonal flavors, and you can taste the freshness in every bite. The dishes are thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. Whether you're ordering seafood, steak, or one of their creative vegetarian options, the flavors are balanced and satisfying. While our table was being set up outside, we enjoyed a drink at the bar--the 15-minute wait was absolutely worth it. The outdoor setting was beautiful, with greenery creating a relaxed summer vibe and live music playing under a small tent, adding to the atmosphere. Our server was equally delightful--friendly, attentive, and spot-on with recommendations. Now, the food: outstanding. We started with the beets and peas salad, which was bursting with flavor--our plates were practically licked clean. The house arugula salad was crisp, fresh, and perfectly balanced with a light, lemony vinaigrette. For mains, we shared the roasted half chicken and the bucatini. Both were phenomenal. I rarely order chicken at restaurants since it often feels too plain, but this one was perfection--crispy skin, juicy meat, and seasoning that carried through every bite. The bucatini, made with homemade pasta and loaded with crispy pancetta, was absolutely irresistible. We couldn't resist finishing with the "Little Mason Jar" dessert, which was indulgent and delicious. Everything--from the service to the food to the ambiance--was exceptional. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to the area

And it was all so incredibly delicious. Props to the chef, hands down. I opted for the high tops when making the 8:00P reservation and it was still busy at that time which was great for them. I do wish I'd have known the size of their high top as I might have chosen a different table but it was still great. Our server was very nice, I wish I remembered her name! The food again, was so delicious. I think my favorite dishes were the grilled miso scallops and definitely the bananas foster crème brûlée.

We got there around 1:40 p.m. and they closed at 2, so my friend was a little worried, but we were still welcomed and the staff was very friendly. It's a small place, but I actually liked that it felt cozy. We ordered 12 oysters, two orders of gumbo, a kale Caesar salad, the catfish special to split, and a bourbon-based drink. The oysters were $2 each, which I thought was a pretty good deal. The gumbo was really, really good. It came out a little lukewarm, but the flavor was absolutely there 10/10. The oysters were fresh and also 10/10. The bourbon drink was another standout. The presentation was beautiful, the little flower was such a nice touch, and it tasted just as good as it looked. The kale Caesar was where things dipped a little. It was pretty dry, so we asked for extra dressing, but the dressing didn't really add much flavor. When our waitress checked in, we were honest and said it just wasn't our favorite. I hate sending food back or complaining. I'll usually just stop eating it but she was so kind and apologetic. What really stood out was how they handled it. They told us they were taking the salad off the bill, which they absolutely did not have to do. We had planned to just take the one we had already eaten from home and fix it ourselves, but one of the staff members made us a completely new salad to go. She even massaged the kale so it was actually tender and enjoyable. That was such a thoughtful touch. The catfish was a hit for my friend. It wasn't my favorite, but I still ate it. Overall, I would definitely come back. Next time I'd probably keep it simple; oysters, gumbo, and a drink and I'd be happy. The service was phenomenal, and honestly, service really makes a place. Feeling welcomed and comfortable matters, and this place absolutely gave that.
