I use this station only occasionally now. I used to choose this Shell frequently, but then moved on to a better-priced station a bit farther away. But I am still appreciative of this location, since it's convenient sometimes, in that it's on the way, either to work, or to home. (This is located right across from Costco.) For a station that is right in front of Costco Gas, though, you'd think the prices should be more competitive, but I often find it consistently higher than my pump of choice nowadays. So I am often baffled by that. Recently, all the credit card readers at the pumps have been upgraded to new models, presumably with better technology. But that wasn't the case. First my credit card "got stuck", and I had to fiddle with it to get it back out. Next, it didn't read my card at all. It's just stuck at "Reading card..." for the longest time, then after maybe 2-3 minutes, it informed me to pay inside with the cashier. It was raining slightly that day, so I was already a bit frustrated, and I just decided to leave all together. I don't usually like to interact with any cashier. I returned to the farther branch where I prefer to do my business usually. In the end, this is the sole reason why I gave this spot 2 stars, because I actually specifically came here since it made sense, I was nearby, despite the higher gas prices. I was willing to pay more for convenience... But then it won't even take my card! Haha! If it doesn't want my money, fine with me? Heh. (I guess it is sometimes also quite busy, and it's hard to maneuver your car during rush hours, and the overall -kinda- small lot doesn't help. They do have a Subway attached, which is convenient if you ever wanna grab a quick meal in the same trip. I haven't really used this to my advantage, however.) DO NOT GET YOUR PROPANE HERE. I only went because it was only a few blocks away from where I live. This review is for that power tripping tall female assistant manager with glasses. I was simply trying to get a refill on my propane but she made it very difficult and uncomfortable for me. I was initially helped by a friendly clerk but it became very apparent she kept micromanaging him. The pump wasn't even working so she had me exchange tanks instead, which was fine. However, she suddenly decided that my tank was old and that I can only buy a new one. It was even accompanied with an incredibly infuriating "You're gonna hate me but..." I have exchanged and refilled tanks hundreds of times and never heard about this rule. I pay full price for a new tank. When I simply tried to make space in my car by moving the old tank, she immediately started yelling at me that I cannot exchange tanks. Now I'm second guessing that she might have tricked me into buying a new tank just so she can get promoted or something. read more

Great price overall! Just enough amounts of pumps and its right across from Costco, if you do not have a membership with Costco, this is not a bad place. Why the 2 stars? This gas station consistently have people waiting around for real customers to fill up the tank, while you wait by your car, you get approached for cash, and or "hey bro, I am all out of gas, can you pump some in my 2 gallon container please?" Annoying. I just wish the station management tries to do something more about this. read more

This is a pretty nice looking Shell station. It's pricier than the Costco across the street, but that's a moot point if you're not a member. Station is clean and brightly lit at night, it definitely didn't give me the creeps. The convenience store is alright as well, especially with the addition of a Subway in there (not that I like Subway, but it's kinda like real food). Very odd when I saw the "We Bake Our Own Bread" neon sign before I noticed that there was a Subway... why would a gas station need bread?? Open 24 hours. read more

2.5 stars. Average place with gas on the more expensive side. Yes, Costco across the street is much better in price, but sometimes the lines are ridiculouos over there. Minus 1/2 star because the squeegees to wash your windows all suck. They are hard and uneven and leave your window all streaky. For being a nicer gas station with pricer gas, I would expect workabel squeegee things. The cheaper, more ghetto Arco down the street has nicer window wipers that work better. And once the price of gas marked on the outside sign was cheaper than what I was actually being charged at the pump. That annoyed the hell out of me. If I hadn't already been late for my outing, I would have taken the time to go inside discuss it. Instead I just filled up with only what I needed and went to another gas station later on. read more

I used to come to this Shell a lot before I started filling up my car with Costco gas. Like the previous yelper had mentioned, this Shell gas station cost more than the Costco that is right across the street, but is still cheaper than a few other gas stations near my home. The last time I came here, there was a service attendant outside and he asked if I would like a free windshield cleaning. So I said yes and he cleaned up my window very nicely, streak free. This guy wasn't hitting on me, I saw him standing around the gas pumps and offering the same service to everyone else who pulled up in here (males and females equally). There is a Subway sandwich place inside but I don't even remember what it looks like inside because I would always pay with credit card at the pump. But I do remember the last time I did go inside was to get free tokens for air after I purchased gas. The cashier inside told me that even if I did not purchase gas, I can get air for free. So after that, I remember my family and I would come here before heading out for a road trip to fill up the air in our tires, even without buying any gas. This offer is still valid because I came here with my fiance last month (Dec) to fill up the air in our tires after we purchased cheaper gas at the Costco (because Costco does not have this available feature like regular gas stations) and my fiance went inside and got 2 tokens to use the air pump. read more

I have always had great customer service by all employees at Shell gas station, until I was assisted by Jenn. I have also come to learn that there are 2 employees by the name Jenn. Please don't get them confused, one has red hair and the other has dark brown hair. I have never been treated so rude by anyone in my whole life. I let her know I wanted her name because she was not wearing a name tag, she then informed me that I come and use the bathroom, drink the water and get air for free so I technically was not a customer. As far as the dark brown hair Jenn, she is great and extremely helpful. read more

I am a regular customer at Shell Gas station so I have a couple of employees come and go. I have noticed how the employees work. I know that Certain does far more than her share at Shell. When I come in the trash bags have been changed, as well as the bathroom is always spotless and the floor is mopped as well as great customer service. Theres a new female working the.night shift.on saturday nights. An ive been coming to thia gas station for 15 years an ill never return because of her. Amario was very rude and disrespectful. I arrived at the Shell station between 730-8 a.m on Saturday morning., I was trying to open the door of the women's bathroom and asked for help. He was on his cell phone and I guess I interrupted his phone conversation during working hours and he grabbed the key, turned the knob and made a rude remark in Spanish, shook his head and laughed. Fortunately, I understand Spanish and basically said I was "stupid" for not being able to open the door with the key.
